You heard me. No I'm not crazy. Running bad has not made me dillusional. Here is the breakdown: I went down stairs to make some coffee, and I hear this pretty catchy song on TV, so I look over and see that TRL is playing some music video with this cute chick singing this emo pop song. The song was so good and the chick singing it was so hot that it froze me in front of the TV from start to finish. The entire time I was trying to figure out who the singer was since she looked really familiar. Then the little title key in the bottom left corner of the music video showed up at the end of the video, and I was totally left shocked as to who it was:

Well, finals are done and I am graduating this weekend. So I have had time to put some hands in finally. As you can see, the results have not exactly been stellar.
I started off yesterday on a nice heater and then took a break. Came back late last night and decided to take a shot at 600nl since I had the BR for it. Well, it did not go well at all, for the usual reasons (set-ups, suck outs - like this, discomfort with higher stakes/focusing on $ instead of playing well, tilt, etc.), hence the massive downswing. Anyway, I got my shit together after the horrible night and after reviewing my PT sessions from last night and identifying a few leaks, put in a solid few hours this afternoon. Didn't profit all that much, but I feel like I played very well. I also forced myself to focus on playing well instead of profiting, as that was one of the main reasons that my shot at 600nl was unsuccessful. One notable hand was this nice value push against a shortie.
Anyway, family gets here tomorrow, then graduation etc. over the weekend and leaving for Utah on Sunday. This post was entirely too poker-oriented, so here's a picture of one of the worst (read: best) metal bands ever, Helloween. Seriously, you gotta check 'em out.

So this game has not been kind to me these past few weeks. I've been on a sick downswing where each day I keep telling myself it will be better the next day. Infact, 2 days ago I told myself that it was impossible for me to run worse. Well yesterday I ran worse than I've ever run in a single day. The beautiful thing about it was that I only lost $1200 over 2500 hands. That is a miracle considering the shit I was put through. So last night I went through my pokertracker and spent like 3-4 hours just going over hand histories. Today I present you with The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly --->
The Good
The good is that I still have enough of a bankroll to continue NL200 and attempt to ride out this crap. Also another good is that PokerStars changed the graphics on their cashier! The old one was still like x100 better... dont fix what isn't broke.

Due to some weird circumstances, I've been playing quite a few night sessions, and no morning sessions. Been playing 4 tables, and I'm starting to think that twotimesopt may have a point with his "less tables = play better" mindset. I've been making very few mistakes lately (namely holding off on c-betting on unsavory boards).
Since my last post i have only played like 1-2K hands, but yet managed to win 1500$. It's cool not to run shitty. I hope i will be able to keep it going. Today i was happy about two things:
1. Pokerstars and Fulltilt add moneybookers to they depositing list, this is very cool for me since it's the only way i can deposit. Gonna play some PS, i always loved, it always treated me bad, but still i love it. I cashout 500$ from pp and rb is comming to PS account so i will have a decent br for 50nl.
2. Thou i cashed 500$ i still managed to reach 10K br on PP, winning a thosand today.
I am very lazy lately, not putting effort to play poker and still winning, wtf..?? For 3 month i was putting so much effort and kept lossing, now that i don't give a shit about poker i start winning. So I just recently obtained some badass new headphones. The Ultrasone Proline 650. I had the Bose Quiet comfort headphones before these (which got stolen in Israel) and lemme tell ya, these headphones completely blow the Bose away!
Not the cheapest things though, but the quality is completely worth it imo. They come with a 2nd set of ear pads and a few other little goodies to. This company is about quality, seriously. And I tried to make a vid today but my camtasia got fucked in the middle and I couldn't save it. I'll try again tommorow. I played for like an hour and lost like $60. Nothing special just a couple of 5-outers but I also stacked a guy with a fullhouse when he overbet pushed river with missed gutshot:
In the evening I had quite a few things to do online. Write some emails, fill in some forms etc. So I didn't feel like playing cash games as I wasn't focus at all and I ended up launching like 6-7 donkaments. Mostly satelites to Sunday Million and Wednesday 150k (all on Stars). I only managed to cash in 3$ 6max triple shootout. So I'm thinking wether I should play it or cashout the monies for dem drinkz for the weekend partying and stuff. Adding it to my roll won't make a big difference. So help me make a decision:

Tommorow I'll try to make another video but I also want to put in a decent session. I think I'm gonna play a bit on PS as well so that means that I'd have my roll spread across 3 poker rooms (PP, PS, i4). What do you think about it? Maybe I should rather stick to one room and play more with the regulars to skill up and learn how to exploit them?

I haven't updated this in a while, didn't really feel like it. I got my BR up to 692 and nothing went right. I couldn't win anything and eventually cashed out 200 and moved my remaining 30 to FTP. I have 9.32 left and plan to use it on a 3R Satellite to the Sunday Million. I guess I'll still play VIP weekly while I can and anything that requires FPPs. FTP doesn't have super microstakes and has less tournaments but at least it's not bullshit. Gl to all.
so anyways finals are winding up and i probably did pretty bad this semester but i took alot of my senior classes junior year because im baller and i just want to take only 3 classes a semester next year and spend a lot of time on my hammocks. got a stretch of finals the next two days and then i move into my new condo which should be pretty sick. my roommate in the new condo is one of the first guys i met at university and he's a real cool person, his like existence is a conversation piece in the condo, he's that level of interesting.
anyways,
i've been limiting myself to 1k hands per day and i think it's working out ok. more time for school less time for tilt. also, after this marathon of finals ill probably take the weekend off from poker to move into the new condo but i would like to have some really good reading in the meantime. this is where you guys come in, i really need your help. if you LP'ers could just link me to any really interesting poker articles or forum threads online that you might have bookmarked or remember so that i can print out a few hundred pages of readings to do when its nice out and i want to be outside i would really appreciate it. theres really not much good poker literature in print so im just going to go to the library and try and print out everything useful i can online. special prize to the guy who sends me the article/thread i find the most interesting.
other than that just been on auto pilot cruising along, shout me a holler and thanks in advance for anyone who passes along some good reading, i'd really appreciate it.

Played online for a few hours today, and mercifully won a couple hundred. Was down $200 at one point and really had to shake the tilt loose and grind. Good to book a winner - I should probably play more today but to be honest it's good for my psyche right now to get a winner on the books this week.
Mercifully, rakeback should be coming in the next couple days, which will make up for the slow start to the week. Woot.

I was having problems with connecting to liquidpoker.net and tlpoker.pl. Dunno why. Whenever I tried to open new thread or sth I had to wait few minutes before. There was an error that said it has lost connection. So after installing Opera it works great now. It's not the only reason I loved this web browser - it's faster than Firefox/Eplorer and looks pretty nice too. I'm so happy with it Hope it won't change cuz if it does, I will be forced to smash this PC
I didn't play poker today cause I was at school and I slept 2h after. God I hate going there so much, I'm tired all the time - I can't sleep as much as I'd like to( like 10 - 12h ), I have to wake up at 6.30 AM or somethin.
Anyway, I finally signed up for CR today so if anyone has any tips on which videos that I should watch at first it'd be great. I might finally be a decent player after all (lol j/k, I'm just a overaggro fish, nothing can change that).
What a terrible couple days of poker. I just can't get a hand to hold up ever it feels. Poker is such a tricky mistress.
Lost a big pot in live play tonight. I got 400 all in on the flop with top set of tens against an obvious overpair - and of course he spiked the 2 outer and took all my money. It's funny, people there think I'm like, the most laid back guy ever because I don't throw a tantrum about getting 2outer'd for a big stack (in a 1/2 game 400 is obv deepish). I also told the guy on my right I saw his hole cards one hand, and everyone is amazed at my honesty lol. In the poker world, being like, reasonable, makes you some sort of super stand-up guy apparently hehe.
Anyways, I had to grind until 5:30 in the freaking morning at that game to get back, and still ended up leaving slightly down.
At 4:30, this guy started going all in blind for his whole stack every single hand. I'm salivating, and totally ready to call his 150 blind bet with any pair, any ace, any king - and getting pissed that in the course of 7 hands he did this the best I got was 9 high. Also, I was SHOCKED to see people folding ACES like it was there job! The guy was ALL IN BLIND FFS!! One guy folded ATo faceup to the blind push because he "didn't want to risk it". Wow. Next hand a dude put A3s in the much. KJ. A4o. Unbelievable.
Online has been the same shit btw, just running so poorly. Oh wells - that's poker.
Moral of the story is I've made no money this week, but it's also comforting in some weird way to know when things are going like shit I'm still managing to break even.
Gotta get some good sleep in and a good online grind tomorrow afternoon and evening and hopefully get this week off the ground.
