I've been struggling with poker lately. I moved up to nl100 about a year ago and now I'm still at the same level (had a 4 month break though - October 2006 till late January 2007). I already tried to move up to nl200 like 3 times but everytime I would drop a few buyins in a short time and had to get back to nl100. I feel like I've got a pretty good understanding of the game and that I'm much better than most of the competition I face but I'm still a marginal winner. Three days ago I moved up again to nl200 and right away dropped 5 buyin, next day I won back a bit, and today I dropped almost 4 buyins again. Plus today I did sth I'm really ashamed off - I tilted at nl100 and dropped 3 buyins in 20 minutes by playing like a retard.

I know it could be variance and stuff but I started analysing all my sessions like a month or two ago, going through all major/interesting pots and I seem to be making good decisions in most of them. I feel like I'm losing loads in small and medium pots where I give up to easily or make bad calls etc. I think that this is the area where I've got most of my leaks. I browse forums, watch vids, post hands but I still have a hard time in these spots.

I also had a private lesson with Andrew from CR (I won it long time ago) but it was just one hour and I ran crazy bad during it so we didn't get any interested hands apart from setups/beats and there was no time to discuss some more general and basic stuff. I was thinking about getting some coaching from other players but I think I need to spend like 10 hours with someone to really find and fix the major leaks in my game that I obviously seem to have. But I can't really afford paying $200/hr or so.

So I've been thinking about an alternative way to improve my game and I came up with an idea that seems to be reasonable. I'm going to make a few videos on nl100 6max during this week and I'd chose the one that involves the most interesting spots and summarizes my problems in the best way. I'd love to hear some extensive or semi-extensive comments on my general play - both preflop and (especially) postflop, opinions on specific hands that occured during these session etc.

Obviously I am willing to pay for such a thing as I realize that time = $. Would someone be willing to do it? I'd prefer responses from players from nl200 or higher but I'd consider every offer. I'd really appreciate this as I'm becoming kinda hopeless after spending long hours playing, studying the game and doing other poker-related stuff with no visible effects and still being stuck at nl100 after a year or so.

So please post or PM your offers (with price included) and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Thanks,
SneakrFreakr

if people here are gonna ask for payment for good comments and feedback then i would suggest you create a thread on 2+2 - they do this quite often and lots of people give feedback on hands... for free!

A video would be a great idea for us micro stakes player. I'd love to see if my analysis of hands are correct in the discussion that follows :D

The video wouldn't be longer than 1hr I think. I'd make a few and chose the best one, that would give chance for some good discussion and comments. Thanks for the responses so far. I might make the first one today.

You know, an alternative would be to use the session reviewer on http://www.tensevensuited.com

You can upload an entire session handhistory there, although I love watching poker videos so :D

I've been thinking about making a video for the same reasons as well, since I'm pretty sure I'm bleeding away money by folding to river bluffs waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too often.

LOL, I'm pokerzion member

I think it's better if you do pay some good player to review it, as he would do it seriously, not in a superficial way like most would if you just posted the video and said something like "ok, discuss" (unless you get a PM by a good player saying he would do it for free, they tend to do that here at LP )

But also would be nice if you posted the video for us all as well, we love to watch poker vids
