so its been a year since ive been playing on pokerstars with real money since july 28th

coincidently i saw another person here that started the same day as me (though he's doing much better than i am )

anyway, i just put the numbers together (used 3 different computers) and i made just a little under 7k

i constantly cash out though. but this time i'm trying really hard to not cash out and just play as much as i can and try to get rolled for at least 50nl wtf common man, its not that hard, right?

so yeah, 1 year since ive been playing poker and my parents were going crazy at one point, but now that i'm taking my studies seriously again, they're cool now

July summary!

July started off rather shaky. I was a bit burnt out from poker and played very little at the start of the month. I ran pretty poorly and was playing spewtard hockey, thus resulting in about 10k hands of breakeven/lackluster poker. After clearing the $1500 bonus for 100,000 FPPs, I started getting more focused and into it. Here is the result

The graph here shows only my results from my laptop. Theres about 6-9k hands on my laptop where I'm down about $100 or so. July tournies I finished down $115 as well as 5400 FPPs. Finally, I'm down something like $460 playing live this month too. So in total, I estimate that I netted maybe $4000 in winnings this month + $1500 in bonus, which is easily my best month to date.
My goal for the coming month is to play a solid month of 100NL while logging lots and lots of hands (ok not crazy much, but like, a fair sum) considering I dont have much to do anyways. I'm mainly aiming to solidfy my ABC game as well as prove to myself that I can beat and destroy this silly weak-tight stake that I have grown comfortable with over the past 2 or 3 weeks. I find setting monetary/win rate goals semi-silly considering I've ran at 8bb/100 before while not knowing what I'm doing (and 6-9 tabling to boot) and I've also ran at 1bb/100 even though at that time, I knew significantly more than when I ran sick hot. As long as I feel I am cutting down my spews to minimal and making right judgment calls, I will be fine with the results regardless.
In terms of coaching, I'm hoping to get a session in with Myth soon. I'm not sure how his sessions work, but I'm hoping to lay some stepping stones down for 200NL, both in terms of what differences there are between the stakes as well as patching up some of my leaks. While on the topic of coaching, I run sick hot in terms of getting freebie lessons from some of the best players in the game. Late May, I dont remember what triggered this, but Nolan/Sean offered to sweat me for a session which I hopped all over since I wasnt playing too well and wasnt running too good either. During the sweat session (where I was learning lots mind you) a sick individual that plays some of the highest stakes online --n0rthf4ce-- came into the vent channel. Me being the passive anti-social nit fuck that I am, just kept my mouth shut as Nolan can see my cards anyways. However, Nolan being his awesome self, invited n0rthf4ce to sweat me with him which he cooly accepted. I dont recall much of what happened that night in terms of details, but my game has definitely improved drastically. Shout outs & thanks to both of you.
On to more coaching run-gootness, this past Monday I made a standard stupid blog where I lost close to 8BI and listed off a ton of hands. Moloch PMed me and asked me to add him on AIM. I did... like 7hrs after his PM (thanks to class/life, gay) By then, he was probably already off for the night. Fast forward onto hmm... Friday night I believe. Some fish was talking shit and wanted to play me HU. I usually just play them off and keep running my mouth, but since I was running damn hot that night, I opted to take him up on the offer and tried to assemble a horde of people to block seats for me so I can take this fish to value town. The horde assembling did not take place in time as I know like, very few poker players on MSN & even less were online at the time. However I did go on AIM to see who else I can ask, and one of them happened to be Moloch.
What did end up happening was, that he offered me a free coaching session. (I know, how fucking good can I run? Nolan + n0rthf4ce, now Moloch?) For those of you who dont know him, look him up. The session itself was awesome as usual. Moloch, despite his goofy forum demeanour, is scarily good at commuticating his thoughts. I dont want to go into details, but honestly, this man can do wonders for any mid-stake NL players looking. I think he says he charges $200/hr, but LP's instructors list doesnt have him listed yet. So I dunno, PM him or something.

Life! I'm thinking about selling my iPod Nano. Its a 1st gen or w/e (more square edges as oppose to round) with 4gb of memory. To replace it, I think I'll get the 2gb one from pokerstars for 5000 FPPs http://www.pokerstars.com/fpp/store/images/detailed/pokerstars-com1mp3.jpg (which is about $75 US to me based on bonus conversion) But I dunno, kinda undecided yet. oh, the reason I want to sell the iPod is because its starting to do weird things. ie. when I start it up after closing it for the night, the track it was playing plays at like 2-3x original speed and cant be fixed unless I skip the song and come back to it. This is happening more and more frequently. Plus I think the battery will need to be replaced soon. Its supposedly 12hr battery life on a full charge, but honestly, its more like 9-10 at best.

Lastly, to wrap it up: my goal for the end of the year is to hit 200k VPPs for the sick bonus (50k FPPs for $2000). Right now, I'm like 55 away from 125k, meaning in the last 5 months of the year, I need to average 15k VPPs per month. This month, after my binge during the last week, I'm at 19965 VPPs for the month. I definitely think I can do this. Gonna aim to crack 20k next month hopefully to give myself some breathing room since the fall semester is going to be more strenuous.

im playing 50nl now after an excellent weekend of running extremely well and winning 30bi in 3 days lol. now im taking a shot at 50 and it seems players are a little nittier than 25nl and pay you off less than the 25nl players it seems, so no more pot pot pot bets for tptk for me :D currently im datamining here and although ive pretty much crushed this limit before and got owned at 100nl , i have to rethink how i play any limit above 25nl to get a more consistent winning month. peace out.

Just logged a really strenuous 4k hand session at .02/.05 (GAY)

I'm turning a new leaf in poker, I'm going to start trying to play 2k+ hands a day. I'm tired of bouncing between nl5 and nl50 and everything else, I have to pay some bills and then I'm not going to cash out anymore for a while, at least not until i have a 1500 roll.

I'm pretty much immune to tilt, I'm not really disciplined though and considering i've cashed out over 2.5k this summer and i'm playing NL5 right now I'm pretty pissed.

I played for about 1500 hands, thought I'd be down a lot after losing like a million motherfucking flips, but was only down 1.4k. Played 400~ more hands to get back to +900 and called it quits. Some pissoff hands:

Played in total 75241 hands, and had a few sick swings, and generally very swingy month.. ended up only 2PTBB/100 hands on 200NL which is quite dissapointing.

Anyways good thing is I earned 59165 VPP this month, and 80868VPP ever. 19132VPP left till Supernova (my second milestone goal).

Another good news is I've cashed out $3200 from PS, and will spend it on expenses at Uni this semester. But I will also cut down on hands because of uni, so probably only 5k hands a week.

I dont know if you guys remember blogs very well, and you probably shouldnt, I mean get a life. Anyways onto business...

I have sort of a grudge against this one player who insults me, my country(oh canada!), my razz game(yeah we iz playin razz fools), and just everything in general. He is probably the biggest pricks on pokerstars.

Man what a prick right? Go to google.com, and type his name in, and no one has one good thing to say about him. He keeps telling me(Oh I was team captain of America, we're the bset, Im the best blah blah blah). I always challenge him to some 30/60 heads up and he always refused until about an hour ago. I was nervous, because this was the internets, and my internets reputations was on the line. I had to fight him, and I had to win. On to the grudge match!

GRUDGE MATCH RAZZ style!!!

Now let me start this off by saying, I was nervous, and I started off this match playing not my best. I really didnt want to lose, and Im not super comfortable at 30/60 yet(getting there). That being said I was tonnes better than him and I knew after a few hands I would find my A-Game. I believe I found it later.
This guy does not like folding his hands when situation dictates he should(razz so im not gonna explain it.) This guy doesnt fold predraw when he has a number card. Almost never. I couldnt let go of speculative holdings because he was palying super maniac loose, and I had to play with him in some hands. This got me playing a bit too fast and not thinking which cost me a few bets. I got up to 1900 twice only to get wittled down to 1300 ran a big bluff http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/241390 but when back down to 1400 respectively(1200 is your starting point). Finally I hit a huge hand, and he paid me off pretty handsomely and this got me back to 1900 for the 3rd time, but more importantly it gave me a ton of momentum, and his play started to deteriorate(I totally massacred that word, didnt I?)

where i made like close to 400 $ within 1000 hands, and which helped my poor br ENOURMOUSLY by passing the 2k mark, and shift it up as high as 2150$ ! it really felt great, i was satisfied, so i stopped playing.

BUT WHY THE fuck did i felt the urge to start playing AGAIN! ?!? so obvious that im going to lose all of my motherfucking wins, cant i just have enough for one day and stop fucking playing? of course not.
i swear before i started this fcking 2nd session, i knew i was gonna lose a lot. oh well, fuck it i still made like 100$ ?? dont know, feels liek shit now.
im frustrated now, even though i know that i shouldnt be, its fcking stupid but whatever can i do, it still feels this way, now gonna cash out a bit and forget about moving up for now.

Ok so this month is over. It was pretty decent although I'm definitely not happy with the amount of hands I've played. It should be at least 30k.

3rd and 5th row are also HU but somehow PT shows them as 6max. Apart from this, I also won like $650 in some donkament where I got 6th. So together I made about 4k this month (not counting rakeback) which is pretty sweet for me (also best month ever). I cashed out a bit and at this moment my BR is about 13,1k. I'm gonna mix nl200 and nl300 for a bit more and when I hit ~15k I'm gonna take a shot at nl400. I feel very good about my game and I hope I won't have any problems with moving up. I'm almost breakeven in HU games this month but the variance was sick so it's still an OKish result. But I definitely have some major leaks in this part of my game so I gotta take a closer look at it.


Coming back to my previous post I already know what happened on Saturday. So we went to my friend's place and started some heavy drinking. I had loads of beers, vodka with redbull and whisky with coke. We finished drinking around 8am. I was doing some retarted stuff, pretending to be one of the characters from a Polish TV series, talking trash, trying to punch my friends (eventually I punched the wall and this is why my hand was bleeding), calling my friends that were sitting next to me with my mobile (next phone bill - variance), spilling my drinks everywhere, etc etc. Everyone fell asleep around 8am (except for me) but I don't know what I was doing. My mate called me at 10:30am and he says that I told him I was already at home. Well at least I had a lot of fun. Too bad I don't remember it.


Tonight my friends is going to drive me to Berlin and I'm flying to Barcelona. Then I'll have to take a train and a bus and after 2hrs I'll be in Lloret de Mar (or sth like that), where my friends are staying. I'm staying there for a week and I'm coming back on 7th August. I might be able to actually play some poker cause they've got wireless in their flat. But main goal is to have fun, drink, hang out, go to the beack, etc etc.

Any tips on Spain? What to do and what not to do? What to say and what not to say? etc etc
