This week didn't work out for me too well but that’s ok, played really well and that’s poker for ya sometimes. Oh I was thinking about going to Casino Niagara for the WSOP they have there next month I believe, is anyone else going? If yes then shot me a halla. I also had a 2 hour session with d_zoo earlier this Tuesday, great guy by the way, and it’s been a lot of help. I still had some leaks in my game, and he brought them to my attention as i was playing. If anyone wants to get lessons I suggest him because he's a great poker player and without a doubt you will learn new things from him. Still got about 8 episodes left of sopranos and then I finish the series so I hope it ends well. I also got my clinical in a really easy hospital so all the patients on that floor had a stroke and are on rehab, and are stable(i dont have to do much, they can take care of themselves). That makes my job a lot easier. Anyways, going to go play for basketball at an army base, take care everyone, stats for this week are below.
for those who are broke --$$ opportunity --by CamilaPunt, September 15
floofy you are forbidden to participate ... thx
Anyways, the hand I am about to show is pretty embarrassing,
atually it is a horrible hand. Probably the worst hotw/year. Instead of hiding in shame i shall expose it and offer bling bling for the genius who can think like an idiot.
ok so whoever epxlains what happened in this hand from pre-flop to river i will send 20 bucks.
I will hint at two things:
I defintely was not playing focused (obviously... shouldn't have been playing tbh), was also messing around.
This guy was pretty aggro.

good night out / coming back to the UKby SneakrFreakr, September 15
So my friend was supposed to organise a leaving party for me but his parents decided to stay at home (bastards) so we decided to go out instead (to my favorite club obv). I got a table for us and bought a few bottles of vodka. There were about 12 of us I think but there were a few more friends inside already. Peoplez started drinking pretty fast but I decided to start slowly. It lasted for only half an hour. Then I was having a drink after drink which got me drunk pretty fast. Had some great time with my friends and I'm definitely gonna miss them but oh well. My friend came with this girl that I met at the last party at my friend's place. She's pretty cute and seems really cool and laidback and we talked a bit, went to the dancefloor and stuff. The funny thing is that she asked me for my phone number and I went like
and she said "well you should be the one asking but oh well". So we exchanged numbers, went to eat sth at about 4am and she told me to call her as soon as I come back from UK. I didn't try to kiss her and stuff cause I know she likes to take things slow but I really like her so I can wait I might have her pic today so I'll post it.
Now it's 1:30pm and I woke up like half an hour ago. Pretty thirsty but no headache and stuff. Waiting for a pizza - should arrive within 20 mins. I have so many things to do cause I'm leaving tommorow. I need to pack everything, go to the dentist (didn't go on thursday obv), say goodbye to everyone, go to my brother's soccer game etc etc.
Short version of this post for lazy bastards:
brag: cute chick asked me for my phone number
beat: coming back to the UK tommorow
variance: got really drunk
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/272499 - The guy leads top pair, slowplays 2 pair (apparently, judging by this hand). That's the main reason I called, I thought for sure he didn't have aces (since the hand just before this he led with his TPGK)
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/272544 - 17/12 but with like 29 att to steal.. I don't know if I like it or not. I guess he can make crying calls with tens or jacks. It doens't feel right but at the same time I'm kinda lost what to do on turn here if I don't push, maybe the best solution is simply to not 3bet QJo vs him!
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/272572 - Hm, on the one hand I don't want to get pushed off my draw, on the other I want to stack him if I hit and he's on a weaker flushdraw, and we are too deep to do that without me betting. I probably should have bet more tho (it looked less small without the rake added in).
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/272569 - Sweet turn, but I probably should have bet more on the river (although if I was being results oriented this was probably about right, as he actually thought for a while before calling).
I'll sort out which ones were interesting/I wanted some input on later since this is basically just all the ones I uploaded.
after receiving many beats, when i enter AI pf AA vs KK i'm all scared, but it gives so much pleasure when it's different and i win this time, or stuff like this happens:
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/272130 - ...... http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/272239 - lol obv I shouldn't fold turn, dunno what I was thinking -_- But I never could make as much as a pair vs this guy (after the JT hand), so after waiting for an hour he dumps his 2 buyin stack to some random idiots._.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/272005 - More standard AA losing to idiot who likes to donkbet but of course hits his flush after calling off half his stack.
WCOOP Event #1 (Part 1)by JonnyCosMo, September 14
Woke up today at 6:45am for my classes, I felt like shit and hit snooze... til 11:00am. Yeah so I missed my classes today, but I've been pretty sick for most of the week. So WCOOP Event #1 is here and it's the $215 NLHE 6-Max event. Here are some of the interesting hands from my tournament:
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/272074 - First big hand of my tournament. My image is terrible, I'm raising every other hand, pick up AQ utg raise and flop the nuts. Poker so ez. Except turn card destroys my hand and river the guy shoves over my bet. Yuckkkkk. My river bet should be 300 instead of 420.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/272085 - Raise JT, flop an open ended draw. The guy in position minraises the flop so I flat call and bam, hit the nuts on the turn. We get it all-in and I hold vs his top set for a double up 40 mins into the tournament.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/272116 - My first real BIG move in the tournament. The turn brought a nice double barrelling card but the guy still calls. River makes it even scarier, and I jam. He can't call me, ship ship!
Ended first break at: 7335 in chips
Ended second break at: 8632 in chips
Fantasy Football Advice...by Sloverville, September 14
I have a WR/RB slot open in one of my fantasy leagues and cant decide who to play between Hines Ward and Ahman Green. Green plays at Carolina while Hines plays Buffalo who has some garbage DBs. Scoring format is 6pt/td and 1pt/10 yds. Any suggestions?
Results from the last week (all 100nl)...
*Could only fit in 12.8 hours. Must play more poker.
Had 4 pots this week where i held 2 suited-overs and a flush draw. I had 3-bet all 4 of them preflop and 3 were in position. After my c-bet was called each time and i whiffed on the turn, i never double barrelled cause i have no stones. One of them was pretty much situational where i knew the guy wasnt calling me light so i checked knowing he would most likely pay me off if i hit the river. But 2 of them i flded to a moderate size bet on the river and the other was checked down losing to a rather marginal hand. I suck.
