well, october is off to a great start. to be fair i started this db on 9/28 so it's not officially october only. i've been having trouble sleeping so just been putting in some late night 12 tabling sessions along with my daytime sessions.

getting very lucky as per usual.

oh i almost forgot.
booked a trip to stockholm, amsterdam and possibly pargue for this coming march. if i don't do prague i'm replacing it with paris/london so I may be around there as well so if you're an ill poker baller and you want to show me where some games are or have a drink or two let me know.

to the city

went in abut 10

went to some hotel to meet that hot blonde chick and her mates. have a drink or 2 in the room then head out

its all good to be out with 3 guys and 9 girls (kind of ratio you need to ball at)

we go to a couple of clubs then decide to head up to this bar to watch the fucking rugby.

On the way me and mate and 3 chicks head back to the hotel for a piss/drink

this guy walks past and goes "YOU GIRLS DESERVE BETTER THAN THE GUYS YOURE WITH"

in my beat lil jon impression i go "WHHHHHHHUT!"

he responds "WHAT DID THAT CUNT SAY?!?!?!"

I retort "WHHHHHHHHAT!"

thats the end of it - id ave mashed his face up anyway.

we go to the casino. meant to meet people there - but people arent old enough so me and mate go inside. This is where it gets tricky

I get $100 out and he decides to aswell. I get rolled at blackjack then he takes my seat.

Eventually we are both down $100. What he doesnt know is that i managed to lose a furthur $350 when he was losing at BJ.

So im actually -$450

We go to find some club and bump into 2 chicks we know and follow them to this club. Theres a massive line but we VIP nigga so we go through the rope and its balla

inside wasnt balla coz it was like bombay and full of punjabs. Me and my mate get 2 long island iced teas each and skull them back.

We leave and go somewheere else i cant remember.

Then we go to the hostel of the american chick where she staying for the night. I did some dutty dancing with her before this but i cant rememebr much.

then something happenened and im downtairs on a computer trying to log on to LP

my mate comes down i think hes hooking up with her and im like "yeh safe man"

i (try to) chat up this swedish chick whos pretty old and pretty ugly.

i give up and walk out the front door - its fucking daylight

i walk down the road looking for a bus.

i see a homeless dude shouting at people across the road - i give him $20 (WHAT THE FUCK!?!)

I tell him i dont care what he does with it - he can buy whatever he wants (mainly drugs and booze)

Then with buses failing i head back to the casino

I start by losing like $450 so im -$900 total

then i win back like $600

one more bet and i could be in profit

nvm i get so fucking rolled its insane

im like -$1k total from hardcore blackjacking with some asian woman on the $25 table

fall asleep on the bus then i just got home and ive nearly got aids so ill die

im so fucking poor now i might be busto irl

gaboling my parents money lol

i have no money in my account to pay the rent which is lol

Poker is still going bad and I managed to fuck up big time IRL which, yea, pretty much sucks. I know there's a few things to be learned from it and overall the hard way is probably better in the long run. You live and learn, or you don't live very long, I guess.

I've allways figured myself for a pretty strong person, one no longer inclined to be act like a patetic retard that often and such. Now it's time to live up to that.

Oh and note to self: DONT PLAY TURBO TABLES. Timed out sooooo many times trying to figure out what to do. Timed out with set once in 4 (or 3) way 3bet pot with action.. Sick life.

Although if I hadn't timed out, I'd been potentially stacked by the guy who hit his straight on the turn, for 1.5 buyins

Today I decided I am going to try a few new things this month in order to get my game back on track. I have been running pretty poorly lately, and feel like my play is being affected now. I decided to drop down to 1/2 and grind a ton of hands this month 8+ tabling on FTP. I am pretty overrolled for 1/2, but its easy money, and the games are always good.

The main reason for playing 1/2 instead of 2/4(which would make more sense bankroll wise...) is that I feel when I am on my B/C game, I am probably breakeven at 3/6 and 5/10, and a somewhat marginal winner at 2/4(1-3ptbb). However, I feel I am probably a 7+ptbb winner at 1/2 on my B/C game. I can also 8+ table more efficiently at 1/2 than 2/4+ due to actually having to table select. I also never feel like I am not the best player at any 1/2 6m tables, ever. Whereas at 2/4, there are definately a few regulars who can be a pain in the ass, and can adapt well. Obviously the higher you move up, the more regulars youll find at the tables that make the overall expectation lower at those tables.

However, when I am on my A game, I feel like I can beat up to 10/20. I am just not on my A game all the time, and have a lot of trouble with focusing. I want to spend time this month at lower stakes working on my endurance to play longer sessions, and to work on playing my A game more often, and work on being able to better identify which game I am on.

played pretty well. i feel i am beginning to understand the game SO much better and play so much better as well. the first session i had went -3+ buyins but i played really well. had some tricky hands and a few sick beats but it happens. this evenings session went really well and those are the results from it. i think i played super well. probably the best i have @ NL200. things are looking up i think.

So i just played some donk hu 25/50. I had a huge edge(as far as HU edges are concerned, obv no one really has that huge of an edge HU), did pretty well vs him the entire match. I watched him play some dude HU for an hour and when that dude left, I decided to play him. He ran like god. I lost a lot. I am angry. SO, im just gonna pwn some noobs at 1/2 for a long while bc I am sick of variance, am still not comfortable playing pots over 1k(yeh, i know, i was just playing 25/50). So I think ill just destroy 1/2 for a bit, maybe focus on donkaments some more. Wow I hate poker. Id post hands from the 25/50 match but my VMWare Fusion license just ran out, so I cant access my Windows based programs . Thats another bad beat.

Today i decided to celebrate my Midterms ending with a quick hop in to LOLCASINOCASH 1/2 game

I put my name down with the floorman and set to work trying to cut infront of the waiting list. I walked up to an old asian woman who looked me up and down , and she somehow knew what i wanted from her.....


"you buy my seat 10$"

ofc i go LOL OK and sit right in after slipping her a 10

now this 1/2 NL game has a MAX buyin of 500 and MIN of 100, so being the balla that i am i buy in for 250. The table is full of your typical casino degenerates ranging from..

so, clearly i was the youngest at the table, being the ripe age of 20, with everyone else at least 30+.

Immediately seat 1 (grandpa) says "uh oh looks like we got a young gun".

first hand im dealt in i straddle UTG (ofc) and everyone limps i look down at KK go LOL RAISE and pop it up to 20$

everyone folds cept old grandpa in seat 1 who sneers and calls me down throwing 4 red chips from his 500+ stack.

Hmm. Intresting card here, i fire out 1/2 to rep a super strong ace , since this grandpa guy seems quite nittish and would have called my straddle PFR with anything from 1010+.

I decide to build a LAG-ish table image and begin to raise PF 3times an orbit.

Another notable hand is where i straddled again, got all 7 other players calling me (LOLZ) and looked down at K10o. Keeping the image i popped it up to 25$ and everyone mucked

gramps, trucker hat , and big momma come along and complete their calls, where i look down at As6s. Thinking back to my K10 hand, i go LOL RAISE and pop it up to 25 because 25 is an intimidating number

grandpa hacks up a little at the table, blows into his hankey and calls me, never once taking his eyes off me.

i check it in hopes of semi bluff C/Ring, because i really wanted to get into a big pot with this guy, who had been ragging on me the entire session as "over aggressive, going broke" etc etc.... ._.

he bets 5$. Now , at this point i am thinking 1 of 2 things
1.) LOL SET TRYING TO TRAP?? ............... but why so little

I also deduced that he couldnt have any over pair ,because who the fuck would front bet like 1/10 the pot.

I put him on a pair + combo flush draw of some sort, which put me at 3 aces, a 9, and any spades to give me the best hand.

I smiled and announced "reraise, sir", sliding 10 red chips into the middle for a 45$ reraise. Pot was definetly building now.

Old man glares and goes "oh really? i raise 200". Now i go WTF in my head, and the entire table begins to chatter "nice move jerry!" "ohh you got him this time jerry!" all the old men anyway, im assuming they were all reg. casino degens who were constant donaters. Ethiopian guy and internet hotshot are discussing amongst them selves "the asian guy was trapping him, this old guy is toast".

I have about 260 left behind at this point IIRC, and go

"Alright, all in" and shove in the rest of my stack. Old grandpa has about 300ish left, and stares at me. "......eh............ i think i am beat...." as he slides in the rest of his chips. The pot is now something stupidly big like 800-900 for a 1/2 NL game and the dealer goes, kk show!

I table my nut flush / gutshot / overcard draw, and he decides to not show.

He slowrolls me and grins , and flips up 65o. SLOWROLLS. the dealer berates him for being such a cockbag "that's pretty dirty jerry, do that one more time and im going to have to ask you to leave". Old man is grinning from ear to ear as if he's made the best calldown of the century, calling a 4bet with an open ended straightdraw on a flush drawing board -___________-.

What made it even sicker was that the 5 on the turn gave me 4 more outs to make me an open ender.

I choke back another sicko bad beat, as i thought this day i would be able to climb out of my horrible poker downswing (For my stakes anyway - read past blog).

But i force a smile and go, you outplayed me sir ^_^b

Table thinks im serious and goes "no! we thought you were an over aggressive player who doesnt know anything but you're definetly a good player."

old grandpa goes "yea you outplayed me, i will admit - i am sorry for slow rolling."

i then go "so what did you put me on to make that call sir?"

old grandpa goes : "a straight draw, i figured we had the same cards"

i rebought for 200 and ended up card dead for the next hour, i cut my losses and took my remaining 120 and left.

As i left, mr trucker hat old man busted old grandpa's 900+ stack when grandpa called an all in on a As 3s 10c board with K2s for his entire stack. Trucker man had trip aces ofc.

I LOVE THE CASINO

i'm definetly taking another shot later on tonight or tommorow, getting a friend to stake me. i can definetly, definetly beat this game, as the potential ROI with 1/2 blinds is so good. I'm also bored of online poker sometimes, but i really need to start grinding that FTP br -_-v
