Ok, i passed both my tests, both in the %70 range so i'm happy. I have 3 exams starting Dec1-Dec15 so no poker from there on again. I moved down to 100nl, and i'm doing great there. Averaging around 4.5/100 over 20k hands so i'll stay there for a bit. I'm so close to the 300,000 vpp bonus on stars, i have about 40,000 left to go, so thats one of my many goals, lol. I also went to niagra for a couple of hours to see all the guys.

despite AA//QQ//JJ all being losers for the day (dunno how the donks keep flopping straights) im up nice for my first, or kinda second session of nl50.
The regulars don't seem too great either, havn't had any problems dealing with any. Only a small sample mind, but they seem to just 3bet from the blinds vs my co/button steals a bit more regularly but they give up to further aggression so i've opened up my 4bet range vs the regs a bit and it works well.
Apart from that i cant notice any difference, but then that being said it is the weekend so maybe it'll take till like monday/tuesday before i see what nl50 is really like.
edit: lol biggest day again, expected it to happen at nl50 but maybe not quite this soon after moving up. always nice tho

I just wanted to recap my week since getting the chance to meet Daut and Myth. The first night we kinda just chilled out drank up a little and I got to talk and get to know to the two NITS <3. Stevie and Daut had endless convos about SC strategy and I just listened in and tried to understand it. Daut and Stevie were also working on a Rubix cube which Daut completely mastered. I suggested he give coaching lessons on Rubix cube but I'm not sure if he was receptive . Any takers for Rubix cube coaching?!?
Anyhow, Daut left a day early to head back to his home town but Myth stayed with us one extra night to party it up.....and it was WORTH IT (right Myth?) We headed to our bar about 2 minutes away called The Grape. It was a Thursday night of just BALLING. Nice crowd and Stevie balled out HARD as usual buying 8 shots for 5 people like 3 times. We ended up giving extra shots to random people haha. It was a great time and we all got quite drunk...DRUNK is an understatement. We headed back and had a nice afterparty at our beach house and just chilled out. We had some ladies over and this is where it got messy...
We are all drinking and hanging around the dinner table and this girl challenges Myth into drinking a straight shot (possibly Patron ) She bets him that he doesn't.....BETS...please don't challenge LP NITS we will take your challenge. So bet was if he took the shot she would kiss his ASS bareeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. So Myth being the LP NIT takes the shot and proceed to unbuckle his belt and pull down his pants. I'm thinking to myself...NO WAYYYYY <><><>.....She does it and bet has been WON. GREAT SUCCESS!!!!!!!! GG MYTH
It was really a great time to meet Daut and Myth as they are always welcome at Fairfield. -_-
Lastly, to cap off my week I went to NYC with my buddy nutshot. MTT conossieur and friend, nutshot, had an extra ticket to the New York Knicks game and well...how could I say no? The environment was great, crowd was pumped, but the Knicks lost =/ Had a lot of good poker talks and we expect to dominate the Borgata scene in a couple of weeks. LP meetup!?!!??? Anyhow, nutshot had a bet on our Knicks and since we lost we decided on untilting him and balled out at CHAMPS sports. He bought some new Shox and 2 Beanie hats (Knicks and Rangers) and so after balling out he felt better again. Good times nutshot...
Got home from the game and began to hate girls once again because they play complete mind fuck games. But other than that expect PS updates in the upcoming days.
I don't see how you guys put in the hours you do at this game.

today ended up breaking even despite 3 set over sets and a few moments of tilt.
edit: I should note I love playing live, the people who sit at the tables are pretty worth it vs the bb/100 you make. I love poker, just tired of the grind I guess :- been a year since I've been playing online now and have just only a month ago broke even with deposits vs cashouts.
Does switching to tourneys help? I think 50 hours of work + trying to put in 50k hands a month is starting to wear on me.
I have a 17 inch dell inspiron 6000 laptop. Can anyone suggest a 24 inch widescreen monitor that I can hook up to my laptop and have two monitors or is this not possible (pretty sure it is)...willing to spend no more then $500...
I just put in a two hour session at NL10, and pretty much ran like a god. I made $100 in 2 hours, 24 tabling. I was in shock as my opponents kept mucking their hands, while mine always held up. I even managed to suck out a couple people . This is probably the biggest heater I have ever had, I only got bad beated/coolered a couple times, and never lost a full buyin in a single hand.
Now that soccers over i decided to put some money on pokerstars and start playing serious and really try and get a nice bankroll going. I made 100 off sitngos yesterday and started playing 10nl with my 200 dollar bankroll. Today ended like this......
Last week my car dies and I get stuck at my dads place for a bit. Get back to work on friday. Saturday we have a conference which has me up 6am and not home from work till 11pm.
Sunday off.
Monday work all day prepping for a trip.
Tuesday @ 6am wakeup and off to the airport. Sleep on the plane. Fly to DC. film an event. get to bed by midnight.
Wednesday up @ 5am eastern (3am my time zone, mountain) and drive to the airport to fly back to Colorado. Sleep on the plane. Get home and spend time with the GF, then go to the office and work for a bit. Go out to movie with GF (30 days of night wasn't that scary, too bad). Go home, play a bit of poker, sleep.
Thursday @ 6am mountain I get up and head to the airport. Sleep on the plane, again. Land in st louis and shuttle for 1.5 hours to kingdom city. Sleep in that damn shuttle too. Spend 1 hour "settling in" then rent a car and drive 3 hours to kansas city to pick up someone flying in. Spend the night in a hotel, sleeping at midnight.
Friday @ 10am (THANK GOD) wakeup, eat, drive 3 hours back to kingdom city, run around all day doing meetings and a public talk, get home 10pm. Browse net for a bit and then post this long complaint.

Despite all that, here's my first 8 days of playing NL25 6max. Man, I have made soooooo many stupid mistakes. Feel like a complete noob again. But my last 2 sessions I started feeling it... just hope I don't lose touch by missing poker due to the real job kicking my ass, hehe.
Dropped 4 bis in cash game in 1k hands getting sick coolers i've ever seen since i started poker, decided to play some mtts and managed to drop from chip leader to 18th place in 2 hands where im a huge favorite against a big stack.
That's -1 bi.
Total: -5bis and the WORST DAY OF POKER OF MY LIFE i think i nearly broke my hand hitting the table. This is one weird feeling right now... on top of that i have to wake up at 6 am for work tomorrow.
Small compared to a lot of players but i broke the $200 day mark which is just over 8 buyins for me at nl25. Biggest ever day so im very happy especially as it came in just over 1k hands. I played well, but i ran like god which helped too.
