Another session, heater continues. gg

Ended the session with JJ vs QQ on rag flop for a buyin which is gay, but still cant complain about the session and indeed today :D

I'm nearly rolled for nl100 (just under 2k BR) which is quite sick, i dont feel ready to move up yet but if i keep running like this ill move up at like 2500 i guess.

Heads up since last Tuesday

Ok so the stats are good not supposed to be a brag but just started playing cash on ongamenet after 2nd place in the mansion 110k tournaments for 16.5k (another brag!!)

Just wondered is my aggression frequency on the river way too low do you guys think?

Basically just starting a blog and I mean to update it every few days with interesting hands and any funny stories etc. Just any input on the stats would be nice and I'll try to make some interesting hands for a next update. Nice to be able to start it off on a good note. Either later tonight or tomorrow morning I'm going to make a couple of strategy posts which hopefully will be coherant.

I finally squeezed out $1 today after playing 12,000-player freerolls for three straight days on PokerStars. My plan is to turn this $1 into my poker bankroll and it was the only reason why I played those ridiculous tournaments. This might seem like an inefficient way to build a bankroll, especially with those huge deposit bonuses, but I just learned how to play poker two weeks ago so I thought this was the best way to go about it for various reasons that you can guess.

Anyways, I was planning to hit the micro stakes tomorrow. I was really anxious to play but I held myself back, thinking I should be in best condition and well prepared when I commit my precious $1 to a game. 1:30 AM and I couldn't go to sleep, I had to play. I told myself I would only play a few hands extra tight just to get a feel for it. I had butterflies and was seriously nervous, as pathetic as that sounds.

After playing a little I started loosening up. My stomach was still turning with anxiety but my brain was calming down. I felt control as I watched my opponents and saw the patterns in their plays. After two orbits of folding crap I made my move.

The guy went broke so I left to find a bigger table. I was feeling really tired and my migraine was acting up, but I couldn't just end it here. Besides, I was so excited that I didn't notice. I played 27 hands, and played aggressive from the start, winning 8 hands total and only lost 1 relatively big hand because of a careless play on the turn (should've bet instead of checking, had some sort of stupid brain fart).

The initial rush started to wear off and the fatigue hit me, so I decided to quit there. I felt bad about leaving the table so fast, but I didn't want to play feeling like shit. I raised my $1 to $2.65.

So, this is two hours after I stopped and I can't go to sleep. I'm feeling pathetically giddy like a school girl with a crush, so I thought writing this would get it off my back so I can get some rest. Seems to have worked, nighty night.

P.S: Even though I'm excessively happy, it's mostly chemical reaction. I understand that this doesn't mean shit. (Just in case that I'm coming off as an overconfident fish).

So unibet changed it currecy to euros so 2/4 is pretty much 3/6 now and the same retards plays it. Ship, ship.

I havn't played that much the last few days but before the change I was up like 5k USD or a bit more and after the change I'm up like 1.2k euro more so unless I hit a wall or something this will be my best month ever.

Also, unless random stupid ex ditched me in the last minute I think I'll get some sexaments this afternoon, lolz.

Well, i didnt play any poker last night cos i went to bed really early, so i woke up at 6am this morning and put in a session.

Went really really nice, ended up +7 buyins near enough. Its pretty scary having effective stacks of $200 having not moved up to nl50 long ago, but i'm not playing scared money at all. I feel i have an edge so ill keep pressing it.

So, overall week 2 of november has been good. I've moved up to nl50 and im doing fairly well, really small sample but im running/playing hot. November is already my biggest month by quite a margin and i've only played 2 weeks. Really pleased about the recovery from my -6 buyin day and im very happy with the winrate considering this. Hopefully it continues. Heres my stats/graph for week 2.

After a couple weeks of tournament play I've decided that I need to stay with cash games, on the lower limits, with 100 BI's. That last little run I did was idiotic, but I'm learning a lot.

So grinding NL2 isn't really that fun, but I manage to sustain a nice winrate there.

Pretty much 0 bluffs, all bets are for value.

so anyways i purposely donked off the rest of my chips. i'm done with online poker for now. i don't really have the patience to be grinding low stakes and the only reason i kept playing is because people post their graphs and i'm like damn! i've thrown away too much money trying to hopefully have a graph like that but whatever

maybe after a couple months i'll come back to the online world. hopefully after christmas or something. by then i'll have some money saved up after i bought all my gifts and what not.

i wreck at my friend's home game because they all suck and i have gotten better because of online though.

Ladies and gentleman, I regret to be the bearer of bad news, but my quest has taken a sharp nose swan dive plunge into the murky depths of the losing money pool.

Day 2 I was feeling pretty confident after getting up to eleven bucks, that I decided to multitable. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of buying in for the pokerstars default, $3 on the first two. What the hell! , I thought.. can't hurt too much right? Whats a few extra bucks buy in... then the third table I decided: What the hell! I'll just go max.. $5!! It'll be sweet! , I thought. Big stack to push around the fishies!

LITTLE DID I KNOW that those extra bucks would be EXTRA devastating in the hand of doom that came up...

I was playing fairly tight as normal, won some small pots on some tables, lost some small pots on others. The one table I bought in for $5 I was up just a few pennies. I figured since I had a large stack, I could afford to see flops for 2 cents and then fold if I missed or cash big if I hit a good hand, since bad players would call me down.

Not much to say about last night. Me and some friends ended up playing the usual $0.50/$1.00 nl hold em cash game. I bought in with $40 and ended up down to $16. Made my way back to $46 and called it a night.

Haven't been posting for a while but I was kinda busy and I tried to play as much as I could. Here are my results since the last update:

I'm pwning nl400 but I'm just doomed at nl500. nl600 is going OKish but I'm only playing there if I can find pretty good tables. On Monday I was also messing around at FTP cause there was some update on Prima and won a bit at nl80 deep, nl200 and pl400.

Also tried to satelite to FTOPS 8 (1k buyin) from a $150 satelite but first I 3bet PF for 1/3 of my stack w/ QQ and got called by two fags and the flop came AT9. First guy checks, 2nd guy pushes and I would insta call him if the third guy wasn't still to act. I folded and he got called by A8. The guy that pushed had KJ obv. Than lost with higher FD vs lower FD (he caught a pair) and busted out. Wanted
to play another satelite but I felt kinda tired plus I realized that FTOPS was going to start when it's 2am here so I passed on it.

As for nonpoker stuff it's been kinda boring. I had some beers and a shisha with my friend on Thursday and then I went to drink a bit more with my flatmates and got really wasted. On Friday I didn't feel good and it turned out to be a pretty bad cold. So I spent the whole weekend in my room and in the last 2 days I only went to my lectures cause I really wanted to get better since it's my friends birthday tonight and it should be a really good party. I'm also going to do some shopping today. Gotta buy quite a few things (jeans, jacket etc etc) and my cashout finally arrived so it's all good.

As for uni stuff, I gotta finish an assignment for Monday. It's almost done, I just need to put some more things but I'll do it on Thursday. Then I gotta start with another group essay which is shitty cause I'd rather do it on my own.

No plans for the weekend so far but I'm probably going to play loads of poker cause I'll probably catch a cold again tonight but whatever.

So everything held up today when i got it all in with the best at microstakes, which is a bloody miracle after this painful breakeven / downswing. Got up about 9 BI's on the road to recovery, going to keep reviewing my HH's to figure out more things im doing wrong.

To sum up how i feel about it all however, let us use the analogy of poker variance, to that of a yo-yo.

had a horrible start(again) at 100nl so i decided to once and for all, buy myself something nice and rebuild. so as to not care about it anymore and just play poker and test myself if i can still move up to 100nl after this, ive done it two months ago but i havent really bought myself anything out of all the stress and anxiety poker has brought to my life. so im back at 25nl but rolled for prolly 50nl on just a single site. my goal for this year is to end it by taking a stab at 100nl by the end of december. nice watch btw. lol
