But atm I'd give it all away for a pack of cigs, quitting smoking day one,I'm upset as fuck,I lash out at everyone/everything that upsets,15 mins ago I actually had a arguement with my air conditioner.
Or I just ran sick hot at 50 and sick bad at 100, w/e
I was bored tonight, was gonna play some 200NL 6max but the tables were full of regs/short stacks, so figured I'll try some of that 18 tabling crap.
Any feed back on my stats? I actually ran $6 below expectation in all ins, so I guess I was just hitting loads of set ups like bitches getting krablar owned like this http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/329040
Well, havnt updated this in a while, becuase i havnt played any poker in a while. Mid november was kinda shitty, hit a sicko downswing as i try and move up and really feel like shit, then england lose to croatia and gg qualification. Decided to take a bit of time away, and now ive got a tonne of work to do since its the end of term. So bit busy.
Nevertheless, november was my biggest month ever (despite the downswing). For that, im greatful and hopefully ill be able to get back to beating nl50 in december.
Did a session of nl25 today, 1k hands, won exactly a buyin so cant complain that went okay. Gunna play a few more sessions of nl25 before i go back up to nl50 for confidence reasons (im rolled for nl50 comfortably).
ugh things not going so well, hit a brick wallby whamm!, December 04
this always happens to me, i get a heater, get ready to move up, then this "brickwall" suddenly appears. ive got 30bi for 50nl, i know i can beat the limit as ive done before, but i keep losing 3bi here 2bi there, im forced to move down, grind up until it reaches 30bi again then lose a couple at 50nl. mostly get outdrawn when im ahead and those semi shortsack shoves pf with my ak suited etc. argh im really starting to life tilt because of this.
Didn't play much today. Only about 1.5 hours. Session was good overall, but 2 setups all bu evaporated any profit I had.
Setup 1: lost KK vs AA (BB vs Button)
Setup 2: Lost AK vs AA on AKx board (AA slowplayed pf T_T)
I'm going out on a limb and saying NL25 is easier than NL10. The players are bad at both, but they seem more aggro and willing to give up money. The weak just fold/call at NL10, whereas they always think I'm bluffing at NL25 and want to stick all their chips in with A high.
Start BR: $361
End BR: $366
Profit: $5
Mrs hasn't been playing, and is still oblivious for now.
12 more working days till summer holidays. Let's hope for some (poker) love!
since it's hard to read, i have QQ, i raise, big stack calls, flop 2 8 9 rainbow, i bet 1000, he calls, turn is 6, i bet 200 (supposed to be 2000), he raises to 2k, i call, river is 10, i check, he push, i call, he shows 87o? wtf
i just remembered about the rakeback thing on rednines, i have about 105 on there..so i'm gonna try to actually use br management this time, mostly playing $5 sit and goes and 10nl
P.S. i just started playing DJMAX online. get it mother fuckers. shit is mad ballin yo
Some NL200. Biggest difference seems to be more aggressive regs, and way less super soft tables. I don't mean that the tables are super hard or anything (millions of idiots), but it takes quite a bit more searching to find tables that look good (ie lots of guys with 70~80bb, since most regs tend to top-off pretty fast if they drop below 100bb).
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/328732 - Valuebetting (lol) http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/328599 - Didn't want to 3bet cause the initial opener is pretty loose so I'll get into a weird spot and he'd probably pay off fairly well if I flopped well. ZekGB is pretty fond of squeezing too so this worked out nicely, nice to win a flip with all that dead money
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/328800 - Boooooooooh. Snapshove to rep AK and 2+2 guy calls after tanking for a while (I assume he's 2p2 since he has the 2+2 deity, Omgclayaiken/Jman, as his avatar). Flop was =[
Thats the number that is in the lottery here in germany right now.
you need to have 6 right numbers + correct special number + correct supernumber ....
so you basically need a combinaton of 8 right numbers in a row and u can choose out of 49 numbers every digit.
well thats close to impossible >_<
but fact is some idiot out there will win it for sure within the next 2 weeks.
cause if nobody hits the jackpot the ones with 7 correct numbers will win .. if still no one hits the one with 6 correct numbers will take it etc. ...
65.000.000 $
43.000.000 €
I find this concept very odd ....
Its close to impossible to win it and at the same time it is 100% sure someone will >_<
dont know if i consider going for it
LOL
Pokerwise as said :
i only play a few SNGS a day.
stats since i quit playing seriously ( 4-5 days ago)
The cable guy just came and put in my new cable. The problem? He smelled like a beautiful combination of feces and BO. So fine, I put up with it for the 1/2 hour he was here, just breath through my mouth, whatever. After he left, I attempt to fill my lungs with a breath of fresh air. asdflg;fanh THE SMELL STILL LINGERS!! And it won't go away! I'm so distraught, I think I'm going to have to move. I think my mistake was letting him sit on my couch, I think it was the physical butt --> cushion transfer that's keeping the smell here. I just got this couch too Maybe I can just get one new cushion. sick
i'm gonna be focusing more on sports betting for a while now...both BJLTNYK and i have run 1k into about 10k each in the last month, and it seems that we're both extremely good at what we're doing. the variance has gone both ways, we've run both hot and ocld during the month, so it's not like we're just luckboxing and not seeing the big picture. we have an innovative way of betting basketball games especially, and it's going to be a big moneymaker for both of us.
i may restart an attempt at learning cash games, maybe depositing 2k to start at 50NL and play an occasional big tourney depending how things go.
Best sleep of my life I say, but this is not random. Its the end of the term and I had papers and naturally I let things pile up, and im a 4th year student.
Since last week I have been averaging 3 hours of sleep, and starting from thursday it was just insane. 2 hours of sleep on thursday night. went out for caps birthday out until 4am , 7 hours of sleep on friday. 4 hours on saturday and 0 on sunday.
so monday 6 i was out and only got up to piss at 12in mid night, and now im having a nice breakfast.
i got all the shit done... moral of story, you never get punished for doing things late and letting stuff pile up
i havent done song of the day for awhile: here is todays
I think i heard this first when i was 9 and liked it immediately
Ok so the past 2 days I've been going at it with this seemingly huge fish, HoodyHooTay. Yesterday he was holding it over me and I was really tilty/playing pretty bad. His style I would describe as really gay tag lame donkish. That kinda style tilts me bad, he's capable of doing incredibly stupid things, but mostly is abc boring. Today we played for over 5 hours straight, and I ended up around 4k. Overall he's up 2.1k on me but that obviously can't last so long as oxygen reaches my brain.
Onto some hands....

All things said I don't think he's that bad a player, its just that whenever people trash talk to me it usually serves at motivation to bust them. I hope we continue to play tomorrow and I finally get in the positive vs. him. So far I'm up around 10k this month which is on pace with my goal, but considering I'll miss around 10 days with holiday stuff and a week at the Bellagio donkament I'll have to make good pace over the next few days to reach 100k. That doesn't even factor in my finals, which I prob won't study much for so I guess that counts as an afterthought. Such is the advantage of going to a tier 3 school...
After a nasty 30K hand breakeven stretch at 50NL (yes, I suck), I was getting quite disillusioned with this whole poker thing, until I decided the solution to my problems was more tables. So I tried a 16-tabling session and voila, problem solved:
No real coolering of others on my part here, it was more me flopping sets against retards or finally completing the occasional draw and getting paid. I did, however, dodge the nasty situation of having any tough laydowns, which is unquestionably my biggest leak.
This has been my big problem throughout my poker career: run bad and/or play bad for extended periods of time, get nowhere, then have these miraculous sessions where everything clicks, I run good and play well. I'm left with the situation of not knowing how good I actually am at poker, given most of my winnings come during these streaks of good luck.
Anyway, I also completed a 25k FPP bonus for $285, so my bankroll is at ~$1800. Obviously, I'm not even going to consider moving up to 100NL until I'm a consistent winner at this level.
On a side note, I seemed to have tightened up *again*, my VPIP going from 19 down to 16.5. At this rate, it won't be long until I'm not playing a single hand, and making millions as a result.
I started my session pretty bad from the start. Did some silly plays like over shove QQ preflop into Cro)Deadman after he re-raises me(what a gift ! lol). After being down 2 buyins I decided to focus and leave the session on a good note. Pokerstars seems to like me at NL 10, I caught a nice little rush and ended up 2 buyins, fun stuff. It helps that I don't tilt at NL 10.
So I managed to win 6k in October and 3k in November while writing up and submitting my chemistry thesis.
Even though 2 months and 100k hands aren't a lot, at times I can't help wonder -- can I make a living playing full time? I mean, I only stand to win more when I get better, learn to become more disciplined, and move up.
Barring a disaster I should successfully wrap up my oral defense in early January. And I have already applied for a post-doctoral position in Hong Kong starting March.
Chemistry isn't bad. Academics. Education. But these jobs all come with the pressure to perform.
Why bother with a real job when I can do something that appears easier, more lucrative and more fun?
But at the same time, my parents are going to kill me if they hear I am becoming a professional gambler. Especially when a close friend of theirs wrecked her family/life after losing tens of thousands playing sucker casino games in Macau.
