ok so, i thought i would give 100nl a shot tonight. i was kind of worried at first because i always see people pots blogs talking about how bad they run with they move up, etc. i guess for a second i forgot that i was the fuckin' man (lol silly me how could i foget).
there are really only a few words to sum up my performance at 100nl:
COMPLETE DOMINATION BITCH!!!!
i pretty much played like God to be honest
ill probably be moving up to 200nl in a day or 2. and trust me, you bitches definately can't handle this 1 man poker machine.

After some gambles I took today I managed to build my roll up to 2.2k.

I'm going to hit NL50 and grind for the next couple weeks (seriously) and get to 3.5k and go up to NL100.

I'm going to continue to play on 35 BI all the way up.

I hope to be sustaining a nice winrate at NL200 within 3 months.

I've been progressing alot lately and am excited to be grinding like I should be.

Gay session, maybe 1k hands ish who knows. Basically kept getting good hands that I refused to shut down on when a draw hits the river. I donked off a stack or two and lost a couple more stacks to more gay shit.

Basically I played bad, not horrible omg I suck at life bad but definitely no where near as good as I should be. That combined with running sub par is bad.

SIDE NOTE: I managed to not tilt off money by playing nl10 6 max because nl2 FR was pissing me off. ^_^

I gotta be running hot. I am pretty sure that my LAG style has an edge @ NL100, but not THIS big. Ever since I started playing LAG on the 1st of January things have been going amazingly well. My last 2 sessions have been huge thanks to my newfound ability to FOLD in bad spots. I have also won a few flips which is definitely putting me ahead, but I think I'd still be winning even if I ran bad in them, just not @ such a huge level. Tonight was especially good since people were just donking off chips left and right. Sadly most of them were shortstacks... and I was running hot vs shortstacks which is nice but it sucks since I'm getting lucky in spots where there's not much profit. I'd much rather run well vs large stacks and bad vs shortstacks.

But fuck man, this sux. Last time I ran like this was when first moved to NL50. I was super hot and it was great but man o man, when I started losing again it really blew. I'm also looking at pokerEV and I'm looking break even in there... gay. I don't like the main graph's for pokerEV anymore cause it can't really take into account situations where you put them on a pretty accurate range and get it all in, but they have the least likely hand in their range. So it's a spot you should definitely push but all pokerEV knows is you got in with the worst of it so that's what it graph's. I like the all-in luck graph a bit better since it's just very clearly showing all-in situations, but it's still not perfect. It just shows if you sucked out/got sucked out on, not whether you made a good read and play based on the situation vs his range.

With all that, I still do feel like I'm running quite well. Not getting many set over set's or shit like that, and I especially tonight I hit most all of my draws. But that was mostly only in fights vs shortstacks where I pretty much won when best in big pots and lost when worst.

I just really hope that my success playing LAG isn't some sorta crazy heater rather than good play. I feel like I'm playing well and am only doing 4-5 tables and really paying very close attention to everything and trying to make the best decisions for the longterm. But I dunno, pokerEV just put some doubt in me. DAMN YOU POKEREV! I will keep posting hands and maybe make some videos of me playing so that good players can watch my overall game and see if I'm just luck-sacking my way through right now.

Here are most of my big winners of the night and reasons I played them. Plz tell me if it seems like I'm luckboxing or not:

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/353356 - Villain was super laggy and I'd seen him overbet the pot like that before and everyone folded. I felt like he was bluffing there and went with it. Checked in PT and I was ahead 56 to 44 on the flop, so it was a flop. I honestly expected him to fold and maybe call with a draw.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/353364 - I'd seen him being pretty crazy so I figured it was ok to call the 4bet with position. After that flop I knew I was going all the way and snap called his push. I figured my A was good, hearts were good, T was probably good and maybe even the Q.

He's the guy who 4bet me with small suited 1gaps earlier and pushed on a 3 suited board. I honestly felt I'd take it with a Check-Raise. When he pushed I went "shit I'm behind" but felt that with the pot odds and the high chance that he'd do that with any pair 7 and up I had to call and got lucky.

When he flat'd and I saw that flop I felt I had to make a bet @ it and represent AA / KK and maybe fold out JJ and lower while having 6 outs vs QQ. Of course I had to call his raise. I felt that it was either check/fold or bet out cause a CR he'd be pot committed. Got lucky.

So those are my 8 biggest wins of the night. Half were standard and the rest seemed overall pretty good to me. The I checked a few more of my winners that are just below these and they're standard things like KK vs 22. So I don't FEEL like a luckbox!

Transferred from Stars to FTP for the rakeback and we'll see how fast that adds up. Def took some time off to clear my head and take a step back to look over my play. I def was not running good however there was some spew in there and based the bigger pots I lost there were some that could have been avoided. Sometimes you just need to take a step back a way from the table and look over things. I'l

woke up, walked the dog, cross country skied a solid 15 miles, got laid, played starcraft and 10 hu sngs. won 8/10 of them, got two outed the last one but that's alright cause I still made a nice profit. I wish pokerstars had hu cash games at lower limits, I would crush those. it'll be a while before I'm at nl50 :[

Today i run bad and also played bad some hands

The saying : When u lose money its almost always a combination of runing bad an playing bad is soo true
U will realize this when u get better and actually notice ure mistakes.

First i thought like i played very good but just had bad insane bad luck
but after i cooled down and analyized hands i realized there were a bunch of hands i played very suboptimal.

nevertheless here is the graph ...
I had around 15-20 coolers/bad beats today including a few set over sets .. and funny river bad beats where i was ahead 90% when the moeny got in.

I am not sad about that though
Its part of the game and there are simply days where u run like total shit ...
just normal

played through the variance then suddenly things feel "normal" again. of course there are the occassional coolers and suckouts but it seems it pretty much 50/50 with allins vs shorties and percentages (favoring the favorite) played out. pretty happy with my session today, won 2bi at 50nl but it very unstable and grueling, played 25nl for fun and won like 7 buyins playing 24 tables. i think ill be sticking with that formula of moving from 50nl to 25nl when i get bored and still wanna play coz i get the softness of 25nl and still be able to prepare for 50nl when i get to like 3k. played over 9k hands and i can say that surprisingly 24tabling is more relaxing than 8 tabling 6 max for me. BR is at 2600 now and i can't wait to get to 50nl and start "testing" 100nl every now and then, is the 100nl limit very different from 50nl? any advice from experienced 100nl 9max fullring players please give me an idea, coz 50nl is def much tighter and harder to extract value from monsters, except of course from those "half stacked" monkeys from time to time.

im still at goldstar status, but im just plowing through the fpps lately, ill try to get as many 50usd bonuses as i can then when im at 50nl and platinum status, hopefully ill be a 50nl reg there and make supernova by apri - june.
