Apparently I'm not banned from blog, so here's my pics from Day 1. Already down a ton on the trip, and have lost CC roulette 4/4. Running goooood. But on a serious note, the place is beautiful and weather is great etc. Check it out:

as you can see, the room is really sweet. we're in the beach tower, the guys who are in the tower at the casino generally seem to have really boring standard rooms so i'm pretty happy even though we have to take a shuttle to the casino. still havent checked the beach out but expect pics of that tomorrow if they don't cut my blogging.

| | Rewards by Silver)Z(, January 05
So I’ve pretty much finished NL25 and have been taking regular shots at NL50:
http://www.liquidpoker.net/user_pictures/2e27d482894cc9f711ab96c4944f4f23.jpg
NL50 has been giving me so trouble... there are a lot of aggressive and competent players there, I’ve been adapting, but of course, losing a bit of money as I adjust my bluffing frequencies and look people up to see what kind of plays they make when their line makes no sense
I cashed out $250 3 weeks ago to buy a Cardrunners membership and pokertracker3 when it comes out. Recently got the cheque cleared so I’m going to have a lot of fun obsessively watching poker videos soon
And I have just over 25000 in FPPs. I was going to use this to buy a monitor, but living in the land of sheep they can’t ship one out here.
http://www.bdb.co.za/shackle/images/sheep_racing.jpg
My bankroll is 1600 at the moment, so heres the plan:
play NL25 for 3 more days, multitabling cap style.
release the $280 Goldstar FPP reward bonus.
Cash out everything over 1700.
Watch Cardrunners vids and improve my game vs aggressive regs and move up to NL50 permenantly.
http://www.cardrunners.com/members/images/aboutus/pic_btownsend.jpg
This guy is going to help me beat NL50 ^
I’m currently unemployed over uni holidays so getting a bit of cash out of poker would be nice xD. I can reward myself for getting this far in poker my playing for a few days then cashing out the winnings. (If I don't manage to make a few hundred I might stay at NL25 a while longer)
Good luck to you dear reader.

| | 2008: Tough start by sTrAtO, January 05
Five days have passed so far this year and I've already been in a rollercoaster. Picture needs no explanation.
http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/8839/5eneroptai3.jpg
I'm running and playing extremely bad at NL100 FR and my stats confirm it. 15/9... limping/calling a lot with suited cards and losing money in missed draws or getting my money in with very light hands like KQ. I have absolutely no confidence in playing FR for a while, but not going to give up. Going to wait a few days before playing again and fix those leaks.
I started playing NL50 6max with a solid TAG style. Worked out for me over a small sample. Moved to NL100 after playing a few NL50 6max hands but I'm playing more tight than usual... I think that is because I'm really not used to play 6max but I'll eventually loosen up and play more hands.
I also spent my FPPS in the 5400fpp sunday million 10-man SnGs with 4 seats guaranteed. Played 5 and won 3. Spent a few of those T$ and sold the rest to Ket
On a side note, I'm gonna try to clear Supernova in 4 or 5 months. 650~Fpps/day (for 5 months)seems very doable, its like 3hours of play every day. Although school starts on Jan 14th, so my ratio of playing may be lower than expected. Gotta re-evaluate that after I get on my rutine with school and other activities.
Gonna see some Cardrunners videos now. GL every1

| | Done With Poker by Angry Pimp, January 05
Alright, well the girlfriend thinks i am a pathological gambler and as such, she is "banning" me for a month, and making me cash out - or else i risk losing her. this is a pain in my ass since it is a hassle to redeposit. it is such bs how she cant just password protect my own account with a password that she only knows. she says that she is doing all this to "help" me, when i am nothing but a profitable player, +$700 this month BOOYAH. fucking pisses me off how some people dont understand that poker is an activity in which you CALCULATE and MITIGATE risk by taking a TACTICAL and STRATEGIC approach. basically - all of u understand how much time it takes to grind 25NL and 50NL and i suspect that she is just plain pissed because i pay more attention to poker than i do (even though this is not the case).
final note: pisses me off even more how this happens right when i get the ball rolling, on both 25/50NL AND rakeback. fucking gay
but anyway, see u guys in a month
good luck on this month's sessioning

officiall statement from the tip24.de customer service
I try to translate.
In fact the new laws from 1.1.2008 concerning the Lotterie-Staatsvertrag do ban online gambling.
However there is a transition period till 31.12.2008 in which taking part in online gambling is still possible.
In addition to that law does not conform with all kinds of EU regulations which leads to the assumption that it is highly unlikely
This law will still be effective at the end of 2008 when the transition period is over.

besides that

| | Playing Again by Suicide, January 05
I've started playing again, I stopped at NL50 last time, because college is really putting a drain on my wallet. I've played about 7,000 hands at 25NL and was up around $200 until I took that money to blackjack and lost it all... :[
I've been playing on UltimateBet for the 111% Bonus and Rakeback which I couldn't get on FTP because I already had an account.(lame)
The tournaments are ridiculously easy on UB Late at night. I've played in two, and cashed in two.
http://img242.imageshack.us/img242/6318/tourneyresultlargelg3.jpg
This was tonights, although it's not big cash, 1800% ROI is pretty nice. I was pretty impressed with being able to maintain composure. I played 8% of my hands the entire tourney; I was cold decked, short stacked, and heartbroken the entire tourney but somehow thanks Mostly to AC RELLI and Nuttz03 who also made the final table, had a very fun time and was able to avoid a blowup that I sometimes have happen when I start getting agitated at my cards, etc . I ended up losing vs after pushing from the SB when the table folded around to me. The blinds were 4000/8000 and I only had 60,000 so I don't mind my play.
Hopefully I can keep updating this blog, I except to be back at 50NL shortly hopefully at the end of next week.

| | Playing better by Venrae, January 05
I played quite a few hands today, 4k+ at least, split up into three sessions. One I tried my hand at 16 tabling since I was rolled for it but I was donking off too much money, so I moved back to 12 table and played really well. I ran about at expectation, a couple coolers and setups and suckouts but some hands held as well so it's all good.
Overall I'm up around $14 today and my BR has peaked at $150.75 ^_^

KTs - valued in, great turn though
I didn't make any significant money with sets, and played nearly all of my low pockets looking for opportunities to stay TPTK or less.
I got some good guidance from a friend who i talked to on skype while playing. This really helped my play, and he would give his opinions of hands and help me think it out.
I'm trying to learn to be a lot more calm and make good decisions and think it thru. Need to avoid money going in marginal positions. I laid down JJ, QQ PF after some consideration. Previously had problems laying down QQ.. but its good to see this development.
Hopefully i can keep winning.

| | Solidly into NL100 by k2o4, January 04
It was a rocky transition up as I ran cold, then ran stupid, then dropped back to NL50, then played well and ran ok and have stuck to it ever since. I've opened up my game a lot and become semi LAG. Added a lot more moves and good bluffs thanks to my hand reading skills going up like crazy. Putting in a decent amount of hands, about 3,500 over the last 4 days. I feel like I'm soaking up a lot of lessons and doing a good job of reviewing my results. I spend more time studying poker than I do playing, which I think is an OK thing to do.
My main problem is that I have these spewy tilty sessions. Earlier today I got on and just aggro donked my way into a several buyin loss. Didn't win any pots but got stacked like 3 times. Realized that I was tilting and got away to play some COD4 and eat dinner with the GF. Once I'd chilled out I came back and won it all back and an extra $375 on top of it. So I basically turned a 6-7 buyin session into a 4 buyin one. I hate myself for that and really wish I'd gotten off the tables earlier cause I knew I wasn't playing my best but I told myself to refocus and try a bit longer. I should have just left right away. I keep having a great session and then an idiotic/tilty one. If I just dumped these bad sessions I'd be cruising.
On a personal level I'm spending more quality time with my GF which is great. Definitely wishing that House, PrisonBreak and 24 were back on the air. House is the only quality show out of the 3, and PrisonBreak is definitely the worst, but I've been watching them forever and don't want to bother learning new shows. So when I need some mindless entertainment those are the guys I go to. But no new episodes for any of them to torrent so I don't watch anything anymore. I tried watching real TV today and just channel surfed for 30 minutes, then turned it off.
Anyway, here's some screens and wutnot of my entire time @ NL100.
