First of all cross out Alberta, you dont want to live there.
If you have narrowed it down to those you choices are between Toronto and Vancouver. Toronto is a big city, never been there myself but i have been told its industrial, with super cold shitty winter and very hot summers... but its a very alive city.
Vancouver is not designed for good night life. Summer/Spring time is great, winter you are limited to snowboarding really.
as for universities, UBC is more recognized that SFU. For psychology it doesnt matter which one you choose.
I would still probably go with UBC if I were you... and by the way I am a Simon Fraser student. |

I'm minoring in psychology @ SFU lol
Agreed with the Alberta bit unless you like ice.. everywhere
Beyonds that, I don't know, I'm not out much. Ask milkman I think, he loved Vancouver's nightlife when he was here.
btw SFU is on a fucking mountain |

you forgot McGill in montreal. You'll love the city and the people. You can get by with no french because everyone speaks english. There's so much more to experience in montreal than toronto.
I would say McGill-UofT are similar types of universities with vibrant city life. Toronto is similar to UK in some ways so I'd recommend montreal for a different experience.
Vancouver has better weather...i.e. no snow. Don't know anything about their university. |

snap mcgill would be cool, montreal is pretty awesome. I think you should look at the 3 big cities of canada and just forget about everywhere else. The rest of canada is shit to be honest, narrow your options to ubc, mcgill//concordia, and UofT//Ryerson. Mcgill might be hard to get into though because they are picky but concordia would surely take you |

Kidding. All things aside I go to the University of Ottawa here but a big reason for that is that I like living in this city. SFU, U of T, and the one in Montreal are all very good options. Don't worry too much about rankings though when you're making your decision. |

I can't believe you don't have University of Waterloo ranked up there unless that is world rank for just psychology programs. The psych program here is good from the courses I've taken and it's not my major.
But if you want to be in the centre of the Canadian universe, U of T is the place to go since it's right downtown and all. |
