3:35 is so insane. His gnp is the most devasting of any fighter. More then fedor. While fedor's gnp + his subs is the best top position in all of mma. For just gnp kid is the king.
The guy in 3:35 was insulting kids family prefight. So kid decided to make an example of him. People seriously think faber would beat him. Just fyi all these fights are at 155 and kid is a 145 fighter.

Well now i will tell you something about my thought process in the preflop game ( though i admit i messed it up a bit).
1.) If u want to have fun with a non boring girl u can never ever open with lines like :
"Hey i noticed we go to the same University and i like youre picture... how about meeting for a coffee after a lecture"
This line will work great with shy girls and boring girls. ( which are not of my interest)
I ve also made the experience that it works with hot girls from time to time in the sense that they will drink a coffe with u ...
but it hasnt worked for me ever in the sence of getting action .
You could not have fun with hot girls by using ordinary lines that dont make your intentions clear .
I ve had this cases several times before when i dated girls. We had a nice day in a restaurant or at the cinema and we had fun and all and it seemed that she likes me and i like her and at the end of the date when u try to get action going they are like :
"Hm wait ... I had a beautiful day with u and i d like to become friends since youre cool ... but thats all ..."
i figured out i will never ever use this line again.
If u ever try to get action by a hot girl u must under all circumstances make sure she is aware that you are sexually attracted by her

Well, i came home tonight feeling like an emo after being a mates house, and decided I'd cure my woes by playing a quick turbo tourney for 10% of my bankroll for something to do before i went to bed... I've never ran so ridiculously good so far in my poker experience!
Obviously I'm going to get called a degenerate idiot for having such stupid BR Management... But hey, I'm sure everyone got out of line once in a while, and i definitely wont be doing this now that I'm actually rolled for tournies that seem a decent amount of money in my mind (rather then $1-$3 donkaments.) Either way, this is obviously a huge boost to my BR. I'm pretty happy right now, and that emo feeling is definitely gone .
Meanwhile, I'm preparing to move up to NL10. My BR is now USD250. I'll probably stay at NL5 a wee bit longer to grind out a bit of buffer before moving up. Thanks to the help I've received, my TT,JJ and AK hands which I used to have problems with are now showing nice profits.
However, I notice a large proportion of my profits are from nutcases going all in with QTo and stuff against my aces. How long will it be before this
stops happening? Sometimes I play for a couple of hundred hands and find myself getting no action on any of my PF raises... I wonder if that's going to be the norm at higher stakes?
Poker Taxes(canada) and some stuff tldr!by 27s, March 26
In 2007 I think I made around $6K playing poker. I transferred at least $1k to my Dad on PS to pay back a loan. The rest was in cashouts from PS and and Absolute. Should I claim this? I plan on making more money playing poker than anything else in 2008. Im a self employed cleaner with a few small monthly contracts. I just gave notice to one of my clients which makes up $1k of my monthly income. Reason is the hours there are late. Im there now. Its 2:15am here. Takin a quick break =). I can make just as much money per hour playing $25NL with rakeback and not have to drive to this place. I've been beating $50NL solidly for the past 100k hands and am currently beating 100NL for about 3.5 times my hourly rate at this contract.
Leaving this contract will put some more pressure on me to play more poker and play well as it will now play a bigger roll in subsidizing my lifestyle. It also puts me closer to not having to work evenings at all. After this contract is gone, I have a $700 per month contract where I go out for 5 nights a week usually starting at 9pm and ending at like 11:30. The money sucks but the work is really easy. So long as I continue to run well, which I really dont doubt since I play tons of hands per month and am a bankroll nit, I should be able to give notice to that contract in May.
This means that by June, I will no longer be working nights. This means that by June I can have co-custody of my daughter - the apple in my eye, sunshine of my day, reason for living etc. I'll still be making from my other daytime work enough money to survive - pay rent, car payments, and monthly debt and eat. I estimate that my monthly rakeback from playing more hours will also be enough to support me and my daughter on its own.
Ok. Im rambling. TLDR. Back to taxes. I need some insight from some people who have been pro for awhile. Has anybody here been audited? Anybody get a hard time from the government? Any particular qualities I should be looking for in an accountant for this stuff? What about write offs? Can you treat it like a business? Obviously internet connection is a write off or should be. What if I decide to go to the casino and play live? Can I write off my losses there - not that I will. Would I ever have to show my PT DB to CRA? Basically Im just looking to hear anybody and everybody's experiences good or bad to give me a heads up on what to expect when I file my taxes. I suppose I wouldnt mind hearing from some U.S pros as well.

With what little money I have left I wanna learn a new game, it seems like no one plays stud anymore and I don't understand it + it's fixed limit so all signs point to omaha.

I have never played Omaha Hi / Low, but I managed to FT a 955 man free roll first is a cool $46. I didn't even know the rules of how the low hands worked completely lolol.
So after looking around for a while on forums I finally did my taxes. I was just like w/e with all this individual tax professional mumbo jumbo and I just went to the nearest H&R block. I wanted to have my taxes done so that I was only taxed on what I put into my bank account for the 2007 year, which was 50k, but the tax person said that wouldn't work. So I took a PT screenshot of 2007 and got taxed on the 70k I made. Its kind of fucked up though, because if I am getting taxed on something that isn't even withdrawn yet, and I lose the money before putting it in my bank account, then what? Oh well, it wasn't THAT bad, I have to pay $13,500 on that $68,250 which isn't even 20% so its all good. Although, for next year they advised me to keep an excel log of the end of every day's net won/loss.
