Really lazy month because I have been losing money and haven't had the drive to play. I am down about 2500 or so at the moment and am curbing a 20bi down swing. I think I have it under control though and am starting to want to play more again. I will be aiming to play ~60k hands next month after such a slow month this month. I feel good about my game and feel better of a player then I did two weeks ago. Me and a couple of friends booked a house for this summer that is sickkkkk. Ok so I'm platinum star at Pstars but the thing is I make a shitload of rakeback and I'm in a dillema would it be better for me to play at FTP because of the rakeback.
At this rate which I plan to sustain I will make Supernova by the end of the year 100% but is rakeback better?
I mean its so bleh cuz I make like 1.5k$ rake and 27% of that would be around 400-500$ which is a decent amount of money.
Also on a sidenote yesterday gave 6max a shot (4tabling only) and playing my standard what I believe is a LAG game... went ok (huge sample obv).
i just cashed out half my roll to pay for stuff and just get some money for myself. i feel pretty good about it and have no regrets about it now that i actually have the money in bank. going on a surfing trip tomorrow with some ppl to get away from poker for awhile and do some thinking and also have some fun and watch some of the girls im with wear bikinis ( i was thinking to add "... wear bikinis and shit.." LOL) i havent been there before but tokeweed said it was a good place to hang loose and have fun. it's a loooong as trip but i hope itll be worth it though. i just feel bad asking permission from my wife and now that she's agreed to allow me to go, i feel kinda guilty about it - for like 1 minute.

really rocky start..i'm only playing 6max and i 6 tabled...had a few coolers on my first session and only played an hour, ended up +$3.20.
just played for another hour and a half, really swingy from up 2 buy ins to down 2 buy ins within 10 minutes. ended on a sick heater, doubled up on 3 different tables within the span of 10 hands - AA v K8 on Kxx board, JT v T2 on JT2 board, and another one i forgot.
so i ended the day with +$20 about. good note to leave on
hopefully i'll hit $200 by the end of spring break.
So just a general thought/poll before I move on to my faux-baller attempt:
When you go to a restaurant, does the amount you tip base at all on how cute/attractive the waitress is assuming the level of service is the same? My assumption is, the cute & attractive ones get tipped more than the less attractive ones on average because of their appearance.

Anyways, today I left $35 for a $27 something bill because my team was winning, I felt so baller lol. Almost 30% tip! Then my team lost in the end. And I caught the bus home. Fuck

This time there was a little over 70 entrants, same $100+15 buy-in. Tourney took about six hours and took home $2,850 for first. Everyone at the FT gets paid, which is 10 players.
Noteable hands :
Right before the FT I had roughly 32 (Chip lead) BB at 400/800/100 blinds. UTG+1 with 15 or so BB stack donkey limps as he has done every hand and it's fold to me in the SB. I look down at Ah5s and complete and BB checks. Flop comes 922 with two hearts and it's checked to UTG Donk and he bets pot. I've seen him overbet pot to steal every time it's checked to him and I don't put him on a credible hand at all so I call and BB folds. Pot is at now around 8-9k+ and turn comes 4. I check and he shoves for the rest of his stack which is a big ass overbet and it just didn't make sense why he would do that. When I did see him value bet he bets 2-3 BB each street and shows down TP almost every time. After a long ass time in the tank the only hand I put him on was a flushdraw and definitely nothing more because of his past plays. I called after about four minutes and he flipped over J8 of hearts and river came a 3c giving me the straight and sent him packing home which gave me a huge dominating chip lead like 4:1 to the second place in chips. At this point it was just cruise control to the FT.
Last really notable and sorta funny hand was at the FT where I looked at AA UTG after a few orbits at 700/1500/200 blinds and I had a bunch of $1K blue chips and no one else did and when I was stacking my chips a few blue went into my $500 chips so I take a stack of 10 chips, which I thought was all $500 to raise and just slid it into the middle but four blue chips was at the bottom and it was too late to take it back because it crossed the line so it was a raise to like $7,000 and players two down from me when all-in with around 9BBs, folded to button who goes all in for around 15 BBs and back to me. I obv call and shorty donk had QKo and button had JJ and ship it to me as they both missed and now I have Jamie Gold + Jerry Yang chip stack and after a few more players bust out leaving four left including me, they made another deal that I get first and they chip the rest.
Going back tonight as this is the last deep-stack tourney this has which mega sucks... Tomorrow I'll be going to the Grand Sierra Resort and rail the main event for a bit... I saw Vanessa Rousso (woof ) and Chad Brown there the other day, which is really my first actual "celebrity" sighting so that was cool. Oh yeah, I saw Michael Binger ( I THINK) when I went to the bathroom... he was walking out playing with his phone with an iPod on and we made eye contact and I think he realized I recognized him... Very zen moment .
So I moved up to 2/4 after about 87k hands at 1/2. I had told my self to play 100k hands but I just got bored beyond belief with it so I decided to move up. I'm only 4-tabling and even though I've been running semi-bad (got coolered a bit and lost a couple of coin flips) I'm up a bit and I really feel that I'm playing good.
