Been running veeeeeeeery well at 2/4, but I'm down at 3/6 (one buyin over a tiny sample :D) as a result of running QQ into AA, KK and JJ (that rivers a set zomg life tilt) and stuff like that. Pokertracker has me at 60% won at showdown, I think that's somewhat of a heater..

Gonna try to play more hands next month (it's actually not as lazy of a month as it looks like, I play 3-4 tables only nowadays , pulled more than one all nighter this month), especially HU. Would like to be able to take a few 5/10 shots over the summer (I want 50+ buyins before I try my hands on 5/10 I think, been going with 30+ since 2/5 but I feel 5/10 swings might affect me more).

Feel like I've been making some progress, in handreading, thinking correctly (or less incorrectly) in spots I used to not think through. Still need to work on some stuff (who doesnt) but still, I'm happy.

Oh and huge thanks to Day[9] for teaching me how to not spew money from patience tilt at HU ^_^

Since my entry to the marines got delayed until August 11th(apparently you can join the marines if your on probation or have been on probation 90 days prior to leaving for boot camp...) I'm going to Vegas most likely for a bit.

Another long grind day at 2nl, -$10 over 5k hands, something like 18 hours. PT3 is useless and provides me with the wrong stats, but whatever, heres what it shows and some hands. What a crazy day today. Been playing the FTP NL10 tables and I decided it was time to take another stupid poke at NL25, obviously while being under-rolled (I had about $60). I was doing pretty well - was up $10 after a while. But then as most of you know all it takes is a big pot and some stupid decisions to lose it all. And that is exactly what happened (lost an all in 2 pair vs quads). I had the feeling all along he had a set or greater all along and knew I was going to lose but curiosity got the better of me. After that I went back to NL10 to try and make back some money. Things just got worse and I had about $25 until I started working my way back up.

Had a pretty good run and now i'm back up to $70. I've been aiming to get to $100 for quite a while now. I got quite close at $90 a couple of days ago. It's so hard to keep the money going up.. And it takes a really long time to build it up, and it's gone in a flash. It's really frustrating, but I can definitely say that I'm learning a lot.

I started on Titan poker as well and was up earlier but now I'm down a few bucks. It's seems really tough to get money from their NL5 tables. People rarely call you when you bet or raise.

I guess I just have to tough it up and put the hours in on the tables. It's discouraging though because I've pretty much spent 10+ hours per day trying to build up my roll (following Grot's guide) and I either make just a few bucks, break even, or lose a hell of a lot. Having a good run on FTP right now though

This was the result of running like crap and a bit of tilt. I'm not really happy with the way I played today and felt I could've played much better.

I started the day and played a little bit of nl50 HU with my retarded friend who thinks he runs bad after winning 30 buyins in a week 1 tabling. Anyway that lasted about 70 hands and I lost a coinflip. + Show Spoiler +

Then after a while I opened up a few tables and started my session. Immediately I lost almost 2 buyins in 10 hands.

Had a nasty run of bad luck. Got dealt KK 4 times in a 1000 hand session last night.

The first time it was heads up vs AQs full stacked... he hit quad queens on the flop.

The second time it was vs a short stack and a full stack... got it in on the flop but the full stack hit a straight on the turn.

The third time it was vs AA full stacked.

The fourth time villain had KK too, so only Pokerstars was happy.

Then I got dealt AA and lost to K8 rivering a two pair.

It was like bringing a different hot chick home every night of the week and then discovering that they all have penises. I mean, what are the chances of that?
