Well I haven't been around Liquidpoker.net for a while. To be honest, I'm so outplayed by you all that I'm embarassed. I tried most of 2007 to hang with the LP'ers and earned a few ladder points, but my best showing had been a second (to myth, who had a bounty on his head,which went unclaimed I'm sorry to say) and third.
I hadn't played in the weekly tournament since last Christmas. And I registered today literally at the last minute. I'm always amused by the banter in the chat box at this tournament, and today was no exception. I played pretty tight I think, maybe could have been more agressive, but I didn't make (m)any mistakes, and I finally won the tourney.
I didn't recognize many of the names in the field. I only had notes on ToTMidiaN. What has become of the old guard? Where are you Chobo? blunt_smokr? Too rich to play the donkament? haha
I'll give you all a chance next week to relegate me once again to donkness. Until then, I am the champion!!
Been running real good lately and throughout May i grinded two fulltilt poker bonuses, one on my account and one on my friends account and unlocked them both. Each were like 500 bonuses or something. I think they both took 40k hands to complete total..i will post graphs below. I also hit platnium star and im 45k vpps from nova which i hope to get in June. Through may i was a 50nl grinder. I was winning but at a low low rate so i bought cardrunners and its been the best investment so far. Im now grinding 200nl 6 max and i got 25k hands in at that limit at like 5pt/100 which is obv good. I hope im not just running good like marshall was the whole time he was playing poker and im actually beating the limit and pokerstars isnt fooling me. It would be sweet to hit 400nl by end of summer but ive heard a lot of people say how much different it is then 200nl so il jus wait and maybe hire a coach or something if cardrunners doesnt help me beat the limit. I hit a 10k bankroll for the first time too which isnt too exciting for most people but it is for me considering i also cash out and now ive padded my savings account with enough money that i dont need to cash out anymore so ive built up stars and gave myself a nice bankroll. All in all its been my best month by a long shot and i hope to continue this run and like i said i hope it wasnt just me running good. Hi everyone, i haven't updated my blog in a long time so here i am Been trying to play more poker but it doesn't seem to be working out so well, my gf grandpa died a few weeks ago and a best friends dad died as well. Also been having a few days were i lose 3 buy ins in less than 200 hands and my stop loss for the day is 3 buy ins so thats a wasted day right there. I bought the new samsung 30' 305T monitor this week but i had to mail it back because it was defective so i'm getting a new replacement sometimes next week. I also bought myself a new pc because my old one was slow as fuck. I'm prob going to go to Vegas this week for a couple of days with my bro so we'll see how that goes. I really do hate doing this but i'll post april+may stats below. I only have good results because Tom is a good teacher.
Umm, oh yeah, one of my really good friends is a MMA fighter and works for the army and does a lot of training, and he lucked up his toe while he was fighting. The pic is below, he took it on his phone right after it happen. Its so nasty, i couldn't believe it and i'll seen some shit in my day. He said it didn't hurt, but it sure looked like it did. so ive been getting consistently coolered or sucked out for the past week or so, but after todays session of dropping 5 BI i am posting some hands to get some peoples opinions. i am not using PAHUD no stats on anyone.
feels good to be back @ NL200 tho, making more fpps and i feel i am playing pretty well. also had the desire to play more hands lately, so thats good too! i hope to maybe get in around 60-70k hands this month and get supernova too.
So it's been a while since my last update, but big things have been poppin' (so to speak) in the last few months.
I had a fantastic run at 10NL in April and May, winning about 45BI and getting my roll up to $600 before shipping it over to FTP for the bonus and rakeback. I just started 25NL on FTP on the 27th after the check got here but I've already managed to book 10BI. SHIP!!!

So as you can see, I've been running pretty well lately along with (I believe) playing well. I spent A LOT of my downtime while waiting for my stars check to clear going over all of my stars PT stats for April and May to see if I could find and fix any leaks before starting to play on FTP, and I found some areas that needed attention and did what I could to take care of them.
Also, last night I managed to book my biggest cash win ever! One of the biggest hands of the night came when I was HU 300BB deep against an overaggro loose semi-fish:
There was a lot going on that hand since we had been playing together for so long, so that is why I just flatted the flop. I thought he had a boat on the river and was surprised he folded...he later told me he had QQ =P. Anyway, here is how I ended up last night:

I have been sending a bunch of house music to people from lp (hope they enjoy it). One of the mixes I've been sending around is Ozgur Can & AGS; their april mix which is one hour of sickness.

Bet is with Mike(nutshot) that I can make $10,000 at 100NL FR this month. His $750 to my $500. All hands have to be at 100NL FR and if at any point I'm +$10,000 I win. Bet runs from now through June 30th. I would have opened action up to others but then I would have had to get a webcam and escrow funds and that would have just been a hassle. I'll try and keep semi-regular updates here with pretty straight upwards graphs hopefully. I'm probably going to have to put in like 200k hands this month which is like 130k more than I've ever done. But I need something to motivate me so I'm willing to give it a shot. At the very least I'll make a shitload of FPPs.

Todays first session was 1000hands. I am not running Poker Tracker as I don't know how to make it work on MAC so cant give specific stats. I think i played at around 14/12

So Im about to leave Istanbul in less than 5 hours from now. My girlfriend left for Wisconsin this morning. My destination is Tehran. I managed to find a plug and wireless in a Gloria Jeans coffee shop in airport. Paid for the internet for around $10 and played some 100nl HU game and Im up like 500 which basically means my Tehran ticket is covered.
Turkey was nice. I went to this place close to Antalya and it was amazing. Mediterenian is just amazing. Istanbul city is also really cool. Specially if you've never been to a Muslim place.
I have TONS of pic since my GF just takes pics like crazy.
Im gonna post more pics and some stuff about the trip as soon as I get to some room in Tehran. For now just some sample pics.

So I sent an e-mail to FTP asking them why the hell I can't transfer any money. Turns out it has absolutely NOTHING to do with being a brand new member or having never deposited. The reason was simply that my personal details were not complete and they needed me to send them a photo ID to prove my identity. W-O-W! Thanks for telling me earlier FTP. Assholes.
Well I had a super long conversation with a friend about my game and the emotions attached to it and I'm feeling much, much better. Thanks Eric . I started playing again, right now, I'm breaking about even, but my game has improved so much after talking to him (Thanks again, Eric). The only problem now is my roll is slowly wilting away with blinds and me playing good hands that I have to fold. I've got about $14 on FTP. Hopefully I can build this back up without going busto, but their minimum of NL10 is kind of hurting my crippled-as-it-is roll. OH WELL LOOK AT THAT. I just lost one of my buy ins:

In the beginning of May I started to play primarily on Unibet, so I dont have stats for this month (only for the PS part, but thats less than 50%). After pretty bad April I hoped I would make up for it in May, but it didnt happen. My poker results continued to be pretty shitty during the whole month of May. I usually had like 3-4 winning days only to have a big losing day right after. Basically I kept breaking even during the whole month and only managed to save it a little bit in the very end.
The final results for the month: +$5,229. Not sure how many hands I played, but probably around 35k. Pretty bad considering this is what I win or lose during 2-3 regular sessions. Well at least I am finally up from poker overall since April 1.
But apart from poker May was a nice month with the weather finally getting nice and all that stuff
Anyways, I am looking forward to June and I hope to have some decent results before I leave for WSOP. I am coming to Vegas June 18.
Btw a friend of mine who was suppossed to go with me just cancelled it so atm I am looking for a roommate (must be someone I know at least a bit), so if someone is interested PM me asap. I have reserved a nice room of ~700 sq. feet with 2 bedrooms, internet and all kind of stuff, for about $94 / night (for the whole room together, not per person).

I got it in with a lower flush at least 7 times today. Almost made me gun shy. Almost.
