Golf + Dzoo + drinking by Jamie217, July 22

So dzoo and I went to Niagara Falls from sunday to wednesday. Idk if anyone is familiar with Niagara area golf courses but we played Whirlpool today which was supposed to be nice.. wasnt really.Anyways so somehow we spent like 100$ each on beers and had the hot cartgirl talking to us for 10 mins everytime she came around.

Highlights included dzoo tryin to hit every single peg in the cart on the golf course. And then he tried to reverse and didnt realize there was a ravine behind him and he actually looked like he disappeared because the cart almost flipped over backwards before I ran and just barely held onto it. All our beers obv spilled, fucking bastard ...

So then we go to the keg and get a smoking hot waitress who we sit there for 4 hours ordering drinks and talking to. Afterwards she invited us to go to dragonfly nightclub tomrrow night, obv dzoo cant go because he is banned from any fallsview company -_-.. WP DZOO

So after that we are compltely wasted and we go to some little bar across the street, again another decent waitresss who wants us to come back the next night to this bar and when her shift is done shed go out with us and hit some beers or something... running hawt.

So thats obv the plan for tomrrow, try and sneak into dragonfly somehow and then grab the other chick when shes done her shift, also played some 5/10 fr and one some monies somehow

oo and a monthly update Im somehow up like 26k on the month or something silly, so pretty happy about that.

gl at the tables all

peace

My Goal... by eightfourO, July 21

I posted a blog about...2 blogs ago about how i was going to buy a pistol for self defense and instead of getting nice messages like "sweet dude, kill the donks and use money and be a badass!" i got berated by europeans and liberals about how i don't need one and it's the stupidest thing they've ever heard of.
Sooo i'm reiterating why this is a great idea.
#1. My friends house has been broken into within the last month who lives about 1/2 kilometer away.
#2. The same friends brother has been shot at while driving his car down his street.
#3. My truck has been broken into twice.
#4. My friends car has been broken into.
#5. There is a drug house 2 houses away from my friend.
#6. There are section 8 houses being opened near my neighborhood.
***********************************************************************
#7. Last night when i was coming home from dinner, i pulled into my neighborhood and was stopped by a police officer. I wasn't allowed into my neighborhood and they had all entrances blocked off because they were searching for 4 males and there was the potential for a shootout in my neighborhood. Icing on the cake. I'm getting a pistol. I have the right to defend myself, my family and my property and i will. The L.A. shootout won't be recreated in my neighborhood.

Again, i would like to hear yalls opinions. I'm not changing my mind but i will never be closed minded about something. I like hearing ideas and discussing these sorts of things, and i'm open to anyone's opinion.

Thanks a lot for reading/listening/responding to me, i really appreciate it. I like the tightly knit community we have hear and i value yalls beliefs and opinions.

Thanks,
Clay

long time no see by PplusAD, July 21

Yeha
Hello Mr.Downswing

we havent met for quite a while
last 10 days we had the unfortunate "pleasure" to meet again

I almost forgot that u exist.

- 1,5K (15 buy ins) last 10 days ( still up + 1,4K for the month overall which is okay)

So now i know again how it feels to lose every pot u play no matter what ure edge or cards are ...
Thx for reminding me and now go away

Todays session : started like usual >-< ( meaning like all my last sessions since my downswing came back went ..)
- 7 buy ins in and i couldnt win a hand ....
Whenever i bluffed -> villian had nutz
Whenever i had a draw it didnt hit
whenever villian had a draw it hit
whenever i had a hand villian had absolutely nothing and folded or had a monster and got my stack ...

well thats poker

http://img224.imageshack.us/img224/5239/dsac7.jpg

after like 700 hands i started to slowly run kinda normal in terms of luck and things worked out better.
managed to make back like 5 buy ins the next 900hands

So i hope the Downswing is over now

NL 100 HU - 1,5K at worst point
Nl100 6max - 500$ at worst point

all in maybe 4K hands played ... ( lol - 20 buy ins in 4 K hands >_<)

Overall i am still very happy since i dont have any exams this month and can spend all my time playing poker all day + MMA Training
That will rock hardcore.

GL all

NIGHTMARE//epassporte for stars money anyone by rockman255, July 21

nightmare, right?

so i was all pumped up about pokerstars 2x bonus transaction and without thinking i deposited $500 into my Epassporte account only to log on to Pokerstars to see that they no longer accept Epassporte.

no problem, right? I only lost fucking $30 on $500 max deposit=$470, should be no problem to refund to my visa card. Wrong. Now I have $470 frozen in the internet abyss which can only be removed via US Chequing, Bank Wire transfer of $1k or more which isnt even guaranteed to be accepted, or using a VISA Electron card.

I'm a god damn Canadian so the Electron card is the only option..

$35 dollars later, down to $435 I have now ordered a VISA Electron card. Production time=unknown. It will be mailed within a couple weeks and arrive in 4 to 6 weeks.

So i have to pay fucking visa bills on $500 lost? Fuck this!

In a state of emergency, I've withdrawn $500 from my Pokerstars account so I dont have to pay ridiculous VISA tax.

..... thus, in total i've lost $30 on the gay epassporte service charges, $35 on the card that will never arrive soon enough, and i wont be receiving any deposit bonus which was to be $195.

net result, -$260. moral of the story? think before i act? check which faggoty old websites have been discontinued from deposit options.

on a serious note, ill wire anyone the entire $430 or whatevers left in my epassporte account for like $400 on stars if they can do that =[

Limp was a misclick, but the other caller tempted me to call again. Villian is 22/7/2 over a very small sample.

I was slightly tilted on another table and I didn't notice how deep we were, so I definitely would not have shoved the turn, but rather check/fold. Would that have been the optimal line? How about crai flop?

Motoparty and general update. by Cro)Deadman, July 21

So as some of you may had noticed from my last update I got wrecked beyond any sense, that was the 1st day of motoparty and I think it was good, day two I was sober and I hooked up with this girl which had been in my plan for quite some time,we made out before and shit but nothing serious until that night so I was like "Yay",the funny thing concerning this is I told her that im running like crap on poker that I'm down 1k for the week and it looks my luck is finally turning, she giggles ofc :D.

And the third day some chick from Zagreb was seducing me on the beach but I basically totally ignored her rofl...

All 3 days really popular Croatian bands were playing and the only band I would say I disliked were some guys from Brooklyn who played some kind of country...I mean seriously what the flying fuck?We want _ROCK_ not some country BS...

Soon a friend from Norway is coming to visit me so I'll try to prepare things for him when he gets here so he has booked appartments and stuff like that, really looking forward to it.

Pokerwise I been running like crap, cashed out like 3.5k,paid a coach, and had left 6k which and then ofcourse I go on a fucking dowswing -10 bi's in 5 days.

So today I get my shit together and make 7 buyins woohoo ship it,the funny thing is I actually played 16/13/20 LOL.

So cliff notes...

Lifes good,Pokers getting better and I'm in loooove.

EDIT:And soon I'll post some pics when I get Remod to take some of us two,hes my real life friend,a great guy and also a grinder, still on micros but perspective young lad XAXA :D

Oh and I also got hit by a car today, but nothing too serious just a bruise on my arm...

Haven't updated in a while by KeanuReaver, July 21

Mom had a major surgery and I've been spending most of my time taking care of things at the house. Didn't leave much time for poker or other things so I haven't played much at all. As a result my funds are starting to dwindle a little bit and if I get into a rut I might have to see if I can get a stake from someone. I'm not too worried about it though since Casino Arizona is pretty easy and if I go there a couple times a week I should make plenty of money.

My knee is still bad but now that my mom's well I should be able to get it taken care of, I've decided to work around it for the time being though...I'm just really tired of being out of shape. I can't really run but biking isn't a problem, lifting should be alright too although I can't do much leg lifts unless I'm using a machine.

Finally, I'm really considering moving to vegas maybe at the start of 09'. My best friend's cousin just got a job up there and my best friend is trying to get one as well, if he does I can almost guarantee I'm going to move up with him and we're going to be roommates. I wanted to visit vegas a couple times for the WSOP but with my mom's surgery it just wasn't possible...I will be taking a vacation up there for a wedding in a few weeks though.

Anyway, getting back into poker is something of a pain...especially since I'm really not even rolled for NL200 any more. At least NL100 should give me some confidence and get me back into rhythm and the swing of things.

P90X by jewlian, July 20

I've always been a skeptic of work out gimmicks and programs I've seen on TV. Machines that can trim your stomach line with vibration, yeah right. The P90X advertisement has been no stranger to my television set but there was never any interest in it.

One day I was discussing work outs with a friend that was prepping for the army. I mentioned my lackluster style of exercise which included bench presses, basic curls and some cardio. Better than nothing of course but not disciplined at all. I wasn't making any huge gains and I suppose the best it did was keep maintenance. My friend berated me for my piss poor devotion and told me to try out the P90X system.

I lol'd pretty hard until he said he was using it. This guy used to be pretty skinny but now he was cut like a diamond. He was evidence so I figured I'd try it out. He warned me about how intense it could get but shrugged it off, thinking he was exaggerating a bit at this point.

Got the DVD's and manual, it was pretty easy to set up and go. Equipment was very basic, the only thing I had to buy was a chin up bar which was only 20$. Started the first DVD and wow, what a nightmare. This was the most intense work out I've ever done and I hurled right after. The next morning, my body was like a board, I couldn't move any joints or I'd be reeling in pain. Ahh, the delicious pain of muscle soreness...

I'm on week three and the results have been fantastic. Body fat percentage has dropped down two percent to ten. My arms are already bigger and my chest is more defined. Pretty awesome stuff. Poker players are prone to get lazy from all that sitting down so if you want something that will really give you a nice work out, try P90X.

(I am not affiliated with Beachbody or P90X in any way, just trying to give you guys a heads up on this awesome program.)
