Don't ask why because I don't know

Anyways, I went down playing a bit playing the $6.50 turbos, but I just finished a +$75 session. Ship ship.

Here's a little SharkScope graph

Why I love sngs.
  edzwoo, Oct 10 2008

I run so much better playing sngs than I do in cash games. In just a few days, I made about $100~ playing the 3.40 10man turbos. Now that I finished my high orbit leaderboard score (8th at the moment, would be sick if it held for top 10), I'm going back to the 6.50 9man turbos, which is where I stopped playing a while back. My first quick session of 8sngs, I ran sick good and ended up about $70~.

Reasons I prefer SNGs over cash games:
1. Waaay more fish.
2. The fish can't leave the game.
3. Occasional grinders are also easy targets because they don't know ICM.
4. Suckouts are much less painful than in cash games, since they happen way more often.
5. Epic upswings.

Obviously I'm running really good atm and I'm due for an royally epic downswing because of the nature of sngs, but it feels so good at the moment. I love it when I'm heads up with someone who luckboxed their way in, blinds are 400-800, and they go, "omg stop goin allin u suk at pokerz", and proceed to get blinded out.

SNGs lol
  edzwoo, Oct 08 2008

So since cash games have been pretty brutal to me lately, I decided to bring my roll up grinding some SNGs.

Maybe I can luckbox my way into the top 10 for high orbit?

I cannot beat fish
  edzwoo, Oct 04 2008

Started session good by getting a buyin right off the bat from two shortstackers. Then this happened.

Happens all the time, so I was okay with this.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/mytlnet/myhand.php?view=item&id=540167

Then this nutty guy that went all in 8 times in a row got me here:
http://www.liquidpoker.net/mytlnet/myhand.php?view=item&id=540168

Then he stacks me twice in a row
http://www.liquidpoker.net/mytlnet/myhand.php?view=item&id=540150
http://www.liquidpoker.net/mytlnet/myhand.php?view=item&id=540169

Then I was closing my tables cause I was tilted obv and this happens.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/mytlnet/myhand.php?view=item&id=540171

Then I lose another bi trying to bluff someone obv. (tilt)

Somebody shoot me for being so nitty/hating money.
  edzwoo, Oct 03 2008

Obviously I'm afraid of money, being 2.3 buyins deep.

Villain is 71/14 and won 15 of last 20 hands

53/19 over a small sample.

Flop is obviously great; a draw that I could possibly overcharge someone like him to pay, and my paired K. I lead out as normal, and he called pretty quickly, so I figured his range was mostly flush draws or weaker kings. The turn was kind of a stupid card because it's unlikely he had some sort of two pair. I lead out with a weaker block bet (first time ever this session) to see where I stand, and he responds with a pretty quick miniraise. I was certain he had a flush, but for so cheap, I figured I'd call and reeval, or maybe even spike a full house. After his strong bet on the river, I folded.

Standard?
