Hello Staker
fenner, Jun 04 2008
Sick. Just sick. Moved up from nl5 today after hitting $200 and had a shot at 10nl - it couldnt be going better, running like god, biggest winning day to date feels great. I'm not going to post any hands today, but I will do tomorrow when I get thrown into some harder situations, I'm still playing at the moment too so just adding a quick update.
Stats and stuff - nitty as fuck!

nl5 n stuff
fenner, Jun 02 2008
So after my slow run at nl2, nl5 is being a bit different to me, I started it 3 days ago and played awfully dropping a couple of BIs. I think I tried to change my play without knowing it, but i fixed it up and now its going good at this rate if i run good tonight ill reach $200 ready for 10nl. I was supposed to send $100 back to my staker when I reached $200 but hes been nice enough to let me have a shot at nl10 - if i i drop to $180 then ill ship him back $100, but if i run good and reach $350 ill send him back $150 allowing me to stay at nl10 without dropping down, but i think i will have a hard time at nl10 so it will be difficult.
NL5 STATS N GRAPHS

I'm too lazy to post any hands

ignore title i didnt know what to name. Had a great run at 2nl today, instantly after writing yesterdays blog of pain my game exploded and I instantly started to rape shit up. I'm taking shots at 5nl at this moment, getting raped and if i lose another BI ill drop back down to 2nl. Heres are graph of 2nl since ive been staked:

and im not going to post much more as im busy with 5nl, but heres a hand from today that i believe i played terribly and would like other peoples thoughts on it:
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/456311 - villian was 25/5 over a smallish sample, I played this badly, i didnt think far enough ahead in this hand, i thought "omgz comb0nz drwaz im on a str8 w/ a flush fr33 money", when infact he could already have been on a flush, looks like he hit either an A or K flush on the river. I think i should have played this a lot slower, maybe half pot the turn as some form of blocking bet. But I dunno this is the trickiest hand ive played.
GL all and run good
P.S. my staker probably feels more comfortable now
It burnsss

Another long grind day at 2nl, -$10 over 5k hands, something like 18 hours. PT3 is useless and provides me with the wrong stats, but whatever, heres what it shows and some hands. I'm willing to take any advice as obviously im really struggling and i cant see my major leak. Heres some hands and stats:

Hands:
1. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/455537 - this is quite simply a cooler i believe, villian was something like 60/x
2. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/455568 - KK vs quite a tight villian, i think he was 18/10 - should i make a call pf here and take a peak at the flop before getting it in?
3. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/455596 - This guy was playing like a moron, being super aggro which is why I called pre, again a cooler i think as im beating all overpairs JA and idiots pushing fdraws. Or maybe I should just fold low PPs pre to a raise?
4. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/455616 - again a complete moron, the hand before this he shoved his 22 pps on the flop against tonnes of overpairs, reloaded his stack and i felt like i had to do this
5. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/455620 - fuck you KK
6. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/455641 - another 60+ vpip retard, everytime im raised im beaten even if im strong, i think i need to calling raises so much as its spewing
7. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/455642 - 60+ vpip again, flop is so wet it shouldve been an easy fold on the river i believe
8. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/455448 - this guy was tight, 17/4 - should i fold this in fear of a set because of the limp or should i always be getting in top 2 pair in
9. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/455459 - 53/13 looking back at this hand i believe it should be an easy fold
10. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/455654 - argh this is awful, facing a raise on a paired board, just awful play i need to learn to fold overpairs a lot more often
I doubt anyone will check out all of these hands since its nl2 and people just laugh at it, but since im struggling it would be greatly appreciated.
A blog a day
fenner, May 29 2008
I'm going to start posting everyday, i fucked this up once by clicking off the page after writing an essay so im going to keep it short. anyway the idea is to post my 2 biggest losing + winning hands every day and also hands were i was confused, also stats for the day. Stats for today, 2nl, 3.5k hands, 12 hours played:

Hands:
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/454719 - 55/35, I thought this was badly played untill I posted it and saw some of other peoples thoughts. I'm still not sure about it, generally when reraised by a player like this they seem to have 2 pair+ but i just couldnt fold the overpair
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/454885 - cooler, but i should i 4bet this without allin shove?
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/454889 - standard set rape
infact i changed my mind, posting 2 winning/losing is dumb as theyre either set rapes or coolers.. I'll post only confusing hands in future posts, good luck all
got staked running good
fenner, May 28 2008
I managed to get a $50 stake which is nice, but still having trouble at nl2 idk why.

WoW acc for stars money
fenner, May 26 2008
I'm wanting to sell my WoW account for stars money, its nothing special - Euro WoW account with a level 61 hunter on the Sylvanas realm. I dont want much for it, $10 will do but if someone comes along with more i'd be happy to take it ofc
I also have another account with level 70 paladin, 60 warrior rogue and mage... But credit cards are blocked on this account so you will have to use gamecards, meaning you wont be able to transfer characters or anything so its pretty much a useless account.
Neither of the accounts currently have any gametime on them.
2nl is hard
fenner, May 22 2008
So I think I ran good when I started out this month, killing 2nl and 5nl for atleast 8ptbb. I got myself up to 10nl with my $10 starting roll and beat 10nl for 2 days, then it all went to shit and I didnt have the control to pull back down to 5nl when my roll got low enough. I think im really bad at poker and only managed to run my roll up because I ran good. I've played about 30 hours of 2nl to try start building up again and I've lost, yes I've lost at 2nl.
I'm down at $3 and if i lose this i'll have to grind playchips again to start my roll.
Anyway lifetime graph

10nl is hard
fenner, May 15 2008
Ive played 27k hands at 10nl now and i have to say its ten times harder than 2 or 5nl. I need to stop playing so long and start reading more, ive been putting in like 10 hours avg/day instead of reading which i should be doing as a beginner. Anyway, even though i'm losing im definitely learning a lot and im playing a lot better than when I started at 10nl. Ive started using position a lot more to my advantage and stealing blinds, but i still need to loosen up in some positions and tighten up in others. Also ill be getting my computer soon so ill get off this laptop/touchpad and will be able to play more than 4 tables.
Heres some graphs and stats:
10nl sessions - fucking epic lengths

10nl position stats

10nl general stats

lifetime graph

thanks guys - ANY advice highly appreciated
struggling need help
fenner, May 12 2008
So I managed to get a roll started from 10bux that some guy gave me as a thanks for giving him something, thank you, you know who you are.
Anyway I started off grinding NL2 at the start of this month and guess i got lucky the first 3 days then after a big loss i started to play a bit different and it felt a LOT stronger and managed to move up to nl5 playing like this and reach nl10, winning nl2+5 at 11ptbb/100 average. Now I am struggling at nl10, it plays a lot differently to nl2/5, I think I found a major leak - Not winning enough without showdown... Heres my graph, i dont think it looks right

It seems as if I'm just playing for showdown so i'm obviously going to have to try and change my play somehow.
Heres my stats which will probably be helpful for anyone willing to give me some advice on improving my game at nl10.

These are all 3-4 tabling.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I really want to improve my game and be able to beat nl10.
