while not a movie i just finished watching Dave on Hulu, a semi-fictional retelling of the rise of singer Lil Dicky. It is shockingly well done. Just such good writing & all the actors are very believable. Cant believe Dicky is such a natural in front of the camera. And it's not just a comedy, it has some real earnest storytelling going on.

Just watched top gun maverick.

Makes me wanna get my motorcycle license, take sailing lessons, and 1 day get a pilots license lol.

Otherwise its ok but still sneaks in some dumb stuff.

The single mom bar owner makes Tom cruise buy the whole bar drinks...his credit card gets declined and so she gets ppl to throw him out cause he can pay...then he comes back with cash probably a thousand or two dollars and she is like no...you don't have to and he's like take it and she's like OK!! Lol wtf .

Obv the Asian pilot is called yale and he is not selected for the mission lol .
