-I wish they made Walder Frey more creepy since they made him younger in the show, he's like 95+ in the books and can't even walk. He seemed just like a bitter old men in the show, lulz.
-I always pictured Shae as a blonde bimbo but I'm liking this brunette wayyyyyyyyy better. Sexy time indeed. Did she have an accent in the book? Can't remember.
-Bronn is boss as fuck.
-I wished they showed Tyrion pwning niggas in that battle, instead they just show him getting knocked out by the mountain clansmen .
-The maegi (the witch women healing the Khal) is badly cast, IMO. When she's speaking English it's like she's reading from the script straight up with no effort. Boring bitch is boring.
-I thought that Dany had three bodyguards (blood of her bloods) but I'm only seeing one with her (don't know his name).
Anyways, 9/10 episode. Shit is flowing so well; I CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT WEEK KEKEKEKEKEKE.
they merged all the 3 bloodriders into 1 character.

Am I the only one disappointed with this episode? It was really lackluster imho. This episode was just crammed with so much stuff... Perhaps that was the cost of having R.R Martin writing the episode before this and he didn't push enough content in that episode? I don't know.
Not really spoilers, but things I was disappointed with: + Show Spoiler +
- Walder Frey is a very interesting character, yet they did little with him. Just..really disappointing.
- Robb acted like he cared about his arranged marriage to a Frey girl. I'm pretty sure in the book, he doesn't really care. I mean, he cares, but he knows what needs to be done must be done. So he brushes it off like whatever. In the show, he seems to care a great deal... as far as wasting the show's valuable time asking his mother if he had met them, she gives off an awkward answer..and Robb walking away a bit upset. That's not even his character. What the hell man?
- Jon's talk with Aemon was supposed to be.. really epic and heavy. The atmosphere I thought was poorly portrayed. The truth that the old man reveals has to come as an extreme surprise to all, but it was just poorly revealed and felt rushed.
- Tyrion's table talk with Tywin.. that part was also rushed as hell and meh. It's not properly portraying the complex relationship between Tywin and Tyrion imo.
- Something I notice with this show is the incredibly increased emphasis on whores. As far as even going to give a character in that whore from the north. And now, with Shae, they put more effort into bringing her alive than other more interesting parts imo.
- Greatjon's character is butchered. And what of Roose Bolton?
- Khal Drogo's bloodmagic scene was really off altogether.
- Obviously, the war scene was not done well. Tyrion being knocked out of his own men's hammer by accident is stupid to say the least. I guess it was just a easy way for the writers to say, "oh, he blacked out, he wakes up, and the war is over, tada!!"
- Ned's execution scene, I had always thought it to be done in a much bigger crowd, in a more magnificent setting with everyone watching. Scale was not delivered I thought. And secondly, I thought the execution was to be done while both Varys and Queen is like "wtf son?" to Joffrey. They nag for a bit then they just kind of stand around watching.
Bronn is a badass though.

I dont know if this has been commented before.. but..
i just started reading the books, the first like 20-30 pages of game of thrones, so... is not supposed that Robb and John have like 14 years, at least in the first episode? or in the book the events happens in 3+ years ?

Robb is 15 going on 16 very early in the book. By the time his mother joins his army he is 16 I believe.
Jon is 16 as well.
TheHuHu4 coming soon :)

Did you read these books? I have been a fan going back twelve years, so some things I am not very clear on, but I do remember some things.
Spoilers extending beyond book one contained below: + Show Spoiler +
-Walder Frey is really a very old lecher more than anything, not really much of an interesting or dynamic character, but he is brought to life by Martin very well in the book I thought.
-It has been awhile, but I am very certain Robb cared a great deal, because he had fallen in love with a young nurse that was taking care of him during the war. Aside from that, it seems obvious no great house would want to have much to do with a house whose head was Walder Frey.
-Whores play an important role in the book too, particularly with respect to Tyrion, especially since the interactions of his entire adult life with women revolve around whores. The whore, Tysha, that Tyrion described in his story to Shae and Bronn played a big role in shaping Tyrion's life. Shae will also play a major role in his life as well, as well as that of Tywin's... She's sooooooo fucking hot in the series.
-I didn't have any major problem with Greatjon's character, but I know he was more of a badass in the books. And we will of course see Roose Bolton during the Red Wedding, is there really a need to introduce the character that much sooner, I honestly don't remember, creepy and memorable character for sure though.
-It was way off, Dany agreed to sacrifice her unborn child so that Khal Drogo could live, Mirri Maz Duur explicitly told her that she had to make that sacrifice, wonder why they changed that scene.
-Agree
-It wasn't as bad as the Tourney of the Hand I thought in terms of epic scale. I was looking forward to those scenes, and was really let down.
-Bronn is a great character in the books and on screen, just wish The Hound would have gotten the same treatment.
i wouldnt touch a cunnis that raszi has stretched out - Illmatic

neds execution was justified imo, he was a traitor to the targaryns anyway.
but man i feel sorry for Tywin. All he wants to do is rule the world and establish a long lasting dynasty, but he's let down by his inbred family, and the one guy who isn't retarded is a dwarf .
