Conor Mcgregor is scheduled to give an unscripted, hour-long interview with MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani in ‘An experience with Conor McGregor’ at EventCity in Manchester, England on Saturday, January 28.
So Bellator wants a fighter thats going to retire to win over a guy that stated in the lead up to the fight he will fight all 6 fights on his contract.
I rewatched the fight and i dont think it looks fixed at all...

Nevermind that tapping thing who cares about that, look at how Sonnen gets mounted... come on, one of the best grapplers in MMA lets go of the leg on that fashion and simply gets mounted by fucking Tito Ortiz.

Who knows who fixed it or why, it doesnt have to be Bellator brass, it could have been worth many millions in sports betting etc.
Im totally against claiming a fight is fixed I think this is the first time I say it in an MMA fight that I can remember, obviously I cant be 100% sure but I would put money on it if I could.

Fix accusations make no sense to me. Not sure what would've made this fight so special that it was a spot for people to make millions on a fix
Chael's face went from normal to completely beet red in a pretty fast second and somehow there's no pressure being applied though? As for Tito not being completely under the chin, it's not like it (more of a side neck/head crank) hasn't been done before. For all of Tito's flaws, he's still really strong. Is it really a surprise that a TRT-less, 3 year layoff Chael got overpowered and reverse mounted by a strong 205'er (who looked like he had some TRT or roid help himself) after he blew his load trying to latch onto Tito's gorilla sized neck really fast? He's also always been defensively challenged on the ground even if he was a great offensive grappler
Basically had two 40 year olds who are barely active anymore fight each other and the performance on one side was so unsurprisingly shitty that the only explanation is a fix? Okay I guess

It's either a fix, or Tito tapped and should've lost.

its not the result, its the micro-tapping, the absurd mount, the fact that Chael wasnt hand fighting at all when Tito was trying to go for the choke, the fact that the choke wasnt even under the chin etc
Yeah thats what I saw too, I didnt see the tap wich almost confirms it but the rest is bullshit, Chael is one of the best wrestlers in the world and he gets mounted like that and give his back like that? wtf. Even in his "guillotine attempt" you can see he is like relax not making any pressure, very different when he finished Shogun. Look the difference:
His defense against the neck crank or whatever is null and everyone knows that is easy for everyone to turn red or purple whatever you want so thats not a proof.
Maybe just Tito give Chael 100k of his purse to let him win in his retire fight:

Now that is entertainment, not like TUF where the "winner" gets a contract, but at the end of the day everyone on TUF house is fighting in the UFC. Its not interesting anymore.
