God I seriously fucking hate blizzard so much for how they are handling beta invites. Randomly selecting people who clicked a button on their website without regard for how much individuals value beta keys, which now leads to some lucky people who don't even care about SC getting a beta key, and some die-hard fans getting stuck watching a D player's stream on tl.net. Now since there is such a difference in how much people value beta keys, lucky people who signed up on a whim can sell theirs for $200+ because some people love SC that much and are willing to pay that much for a chance to play in the beta. Blizzard should seriously select beta invitees by selling keys for ~$25-$50 or having some sort of contest that assures anyone who completes it will receive a key. Way to tilt me more than poker ever could blizzard, thanks a lot.

its always going to be this.
people will register with the sole purpose of selling them.
its basically like freerolling a possible $200.

Theres no fair way to distribute keys.

They have the player base separated onto different servers. Europeans won't be able to friend/play with USA players and vice versa.
