so the house has a 41% edge on a 9 team parlay paying out 300-1, but khan you got only 270-1 odds on your bet.

there are some situations such as correlated bets on parlays and where you have an edge on individual bets where parlays can actually increase your EV but in the majority of instances, parlays are really bad suckers bets.
