Matusow is a gambler, and as such he cant/wont survive in the real world. Can you see matusow working in a place for $5 after pissing away $100k's on sports bets/poker/hookers/drugs.

I know Matasow gets a lot of shit cuz hes a big douche, however, he is pretty decent at poker. He was playing strassa headsup, and strassa sucked out in some big pots, this one is off the top of my head:

Matasow: A9
Strassa:AQ

There is a raise and call preflop, flop is:

A9T, they raise war allin,

Turn 2

River T, Strassa scoops the 40kish pot.

There was some others too, I didnt see them tho, just Matasow bitching about them for about an hour.

Think about it though, Matasow probably gets the most action out of any poker player in the world. He is the biggest fag and everyone wants to bust him and everyone seems to hate him and make fun of him, so they try to bust him and thats probably how he still has a shitload of money.

Matusow is a good player.

Matusow isn't broke.

Matusow isn't a drug addict. He has made some mistakes and paid for them. Recreational drug use doesn't make you a lesser human being.

Matusow isn't what the poker shows have displayed him as.

Most of you are as gullible as the poker shows expected you to be. Congradulations. Some of you need to grow brains.

Well he does talk a LOT of crap online, and he typo's so often its hilarious. Are his fingers fat? Does he need a new keyboard? Is he so high he cant type? Lol I dont know.

As far as I'm told, he plays on a laptop while lying in bed and has often had a few drinks.

And he often shit talks when provoked or being bad beated multiple times. The majority of us are guilty of that. Don't expect him to be infallible. He's a poker player, not a god.


I hope for the day that each and every one of major personal flaws become open for constant public scrutiny. I'm sure every single one of you will come out the golden boy.

And before the inevitable "stop riding Matusow's cock" comments begin. I don't particularly like the man. I find him fairly annoying. He does too much for attention and does seem awefully needy.

He is, however, a fine poker player and an at least decent human being. I haven't heard a bad thing about Matusow that didn't come from somebody already holding a grudge against him.

EDIT: A grudge developed by the persona that the tv producers have made.

While I'm not saying there aren't people out there with reason to dislike Mike, I think 99% of people are just being gullible. He may rub some people the wrong way, he may not get along with everybody and he obviously isn't going to be on everybody's A list. Again, he's not infallible.

iv seen him donate hundreds to people online just because they begged him, am not saying its much for him, but i find him fairly generous and nice. i hope the rumors having him broke are unfounded cause when u play nl40k on loans u must not sleep very well at night
