Villain is an incredible fish.
His stats are 78.2/37.4/0.73
He overbets a lot and calls overbets with junk.
Never folds pair.
The problem is I lost 4 stacks against him.
I put a lot of money in whenever I had something but he always calls and somehow wins. Did I play too loose/aggro?
Here are some hands from that session in order of which they happened:

I try to check hand 1 down / call small bets
I 3bet hand 2 ALL day.
I dunno about hand 2.
I like the shove with jacks.
I wouldn't go quite that overboard with the KJ hand, 80 is a bit excessive. |

don't cbet trash
hit decent hands and print money
looks like this guy might also be the type to push action with draws but showdown / slowplay pairs / nuts
hand 1, check flop
hand 2, push turn. - i think he stacks off with any draw/pair and there is more value in getting it in there than call/call but your line can work too if he is the type who will just jam any river hoping for a fold.
hand 3, you can fold to his overbet on the flop
hand 4, aight
hand 5, raise a little less so if he does have a draw he can snapjam it like he loves to |

Hand 1 what the green star said
Hand 2 relies heavily on whether he usually opens preflop that size or if he only does it with big hands. I'd probably check behind on that flop, but as played just stick it in on turn imo.
Hand 3 is definitely a fold on flop
Hand 4, I dunno how thrilled I am about the pf sizing especially given that we're abit deeper
Hand 5, again dont go crazy |

lol i can already tell from 5 hands that villain is one of the best opponents to play against anywhere.
just value bet much thinner and prolly size your bets a bit bigger since your opening/raising ranges are owning his calling/opening ranges.
poker is ez vs this villain just play straight up. but make sure to keep giving him a bit of action pf and flop sometimes |

Oh lol @ hand 2, I thought it was a standard 2/4 open raise ;P Didn't realize it's a 7 bb raise.
Btw, the JJ hand, if he's gonna call 70 I think we should make it 70, so I like that :O |

Does it matter? I still 3bet the AQo hard and would play it for stacks preflop. This guy is obviously supercrazy. |

u'r on tilt man, slow down don't cbet every flop and don't be so aggro vs him
try to play in position v him and valuebet big hands ,why u cbet when u know he's calling with any to and you have overs |

i don't like the bluff in hand 3. i would have called it too.
i don't really like the megaraises pf because instead of making you money because he makes pf mistakes because it justifies you stacking off postflop. he called this time with K10(probably overvaluing picture cards) but he might have folded 106. and you can make a lot of money in a very low variance way when he flops a 10 TP.
what works for me is to isolate this kind of villain (but try not to inflate too hard pf because you have a HUGE edge postflop) i stop all bluffing except c-bets (not too big) and i continue bluffs with really strong semibluffs draw + over minimum. and vbet any TP pretty hard. i think he wont exploit it if you make your bets bigger, the stronger your hand is.

Isn't it better to play a smaller variance game vs such guys? I mean he almost has 40% with a hand like K10 calling a preflop all in and we are guarranted to make money when we hit if we bet |

lebowski vs these types of players more of our range are monsters. any over pair is going in. almost every strong top pair is going to go for 3 streets of good ol pot sized value. all of our bluffing range will probably vanish and turn into semi bluffs with tons of equity like open ended straight draws/naked flush draws and bigger draws we'll happily get it in.
i mean you could list a million easy and simple adjustments to completely raping these types of fish. |

no, dont ever play low variance, re-raise isolate and get in EVERY GOD DAMN POT with this fish, double him up take it back double him again take it back and then take it all, dont let the table bust him first. |

this type is thinking is much better suited in massive tourneys with plenty of fish where you can pass up on small edges cuz you're gonna get action when you're like a 4:1 favorite anyway. |
