I think I just insta-stopped when I "felt" noticed all the flaws people been yelling about. Became obvious after first week, now I'm hoping another game will come to satisfy my thirst lol.

Seriously the game first showed over 4 years ago of D3 is absolutely nothing like how D3 ended up.

I think while in fact Diablo2 LOD was better than D3 people are way overreacting.
I have played 400h+ LOD (played almost every patch up till 1.13) and ~ 100h Diablo3
Neither was LOD as Godlike as people make it sound nowadays nor is Diablo3 as shitty as many guys complain.

When D2 classic came out many people complained that it didnt look as dark as Diablo1
Funny fact that when LOD first came out many people complained that Act5 graphic set makes the game look more comic and less dark than D1 and D2classic.
Now people complain D3 doesnt look as dark as D2 LOD ?? ....

I love the graphics of D3 and at times in end of Act3 and Act 4 i had the feeling of being in Hell itself
And D2 didnt really look that dark and heavy at all.

Allthough many of the criticism especially concerning items is legit i also feel hating on D3 for many people has become almost as hip as having a mcbook or iphone

Why are you trying to make excuses for a gaming company that had 12years of development time yet went backwards so far on so much functionality and features. This isn't an issue of "well 12years ago in patch 1.0 D2 was kind of sloppy so it's okay that 12years later d3 1.0 sucks balls and took a massive leap backwards from functionality and feature of even d1" why are you willing to settle for shit like that and defend it. Do you want to wait 12years for D4 only for it to suck even more than d3 but it'll be okay to you because maybe in another year or two they will expan/patch it to be semi-playable?

I probably had close to 20-30k hours on D2 over the 10+ years I played and about 600h on d3 now and while when it was coming out I was disappointed that it didn't feel like a squeal to D1 it was still a fucking great game on it's own with massively improved functionality and features that were completely unmatched at the time, and in many ways still are to this day. Of course then blizzard released patch 1.13 and killed D2 over night. D2 being a great game wasn't just nostalgia that people like to write it off as to deny the fact that gaming has changed and the golden era is over.

Feels like something happens when a company gets to a certain size. It's much more important to "please" the masses, and rake in more dough, at the expense of gameplay, high skill cap, insane learning curves and whatnot.

All this shit with "pay 15e, get fastest mount shit". Blerk.

Do they ever hire hardcore gamers, who's been gaming for 15 + years, or is it mostly people with good education?

Wonder if I'll ever feel like I felt the first 3 years of playing Starcraft xD
