I disagree, the best items for most slots/classes were still blues/rares they were just a hell of a lot rarer often costing 1000x their unique counter parts so 99 out of 100 people used uniques/runes (side from obviously broken Enigma), but the unique were capable items that could be used in the end game, not just salvaged trash like D3, aside from a very select few. Sounds like your on one hell of a downswing too if you're not finding random 500k items at least once every 2-3hours of item farming.


The lack of being able to switch acts in a game for farming was also a terrible decision as was not being able to kill bosses after a quest, forcing you to go through the horrid story mode every time to get the most out of farming.

DH isn't OP it's just the only fully developed class with reactive solutions rather than just have X amount of gear.


Frozen as primary damage source not to many, most just use it for the CC then throw in something that hits harder or more aoe since frozen kind of sucks for big groups unless they are in a tight space where freezing the first 2-3 will block the others from getting to you.

I think diablo 3 has to be the game with the biggest TIME IT TOOK TO MAKE/HOW RUSHED IT LOOKS LIKE ratio. they took forever to make it, but it looks like it got barely tested. Many bugs, auction house really incomplete, game functions missing,

However, i think blizzard will whitout a doubt fix that, so i don't understand why everyone is going mad saying they will quit etc. I think diablo 3 does have many positive things over D2, it just needs tweaking.

I agree it has a few positives over D2, but also a list of negatives that would take as long to fully explain as it would for Diablo 4 to be devolved and released unfinished.

yea I think duke barely edges out the win in this, not by much tho

I think all my complaints with D3 stem from the inclusion of the auction house which hurt a lot of the actual gameplay. But I would still say D3 is a good game overall, Duke Nukem took longer to make and in the end was renowned as a shitty game.

People always bought things for real money, except now its not just obscure web sites who can make the money.
Trading also always happened, but now its much easier and less time consuming to do.
Finding items is also a tons easier.
