Monk was op, that's how. Anyone looked into some barb theorycrafting for 1h and 2h weapons and care share some insight or willing to discuss. Hacking my way through hell with the items i found on the ground and a few cheap AH ones was pretty easy. From lvl 40 i had a 1h mace and later i got a 2h with good damage. Stomp their shit with that 270% weapon damage smash + rune to stun. I tried the Kripp faceroll build where he tanks and does burst daamge with bul kathos passive in inferno act 1 and it works pretty well even with geat that's not awesome. I haven't got to thinking about how to achieve decent dps while being able to survive most elites. I'm not looking to just stand there and tank everything - not my thing. Any ideas are welcome.

Rough day so far, but felt a little better when I read the forums, reading that all the DH was having difficulties.

Played to Belial, and got him to phase 3 solo, felt really hard, hit for 70k anything that hits me in phase 3 grrr.

lvl 57 Hardcore monk so far...still trying to figure out the optimal build for soloing and for parties.

starting to get tricky as through norm/nightmare i could just dual wield and not give a shit and bulldoze. now I have to sorta use a nit shield ;(

if i recall correctly, diablo 1 multiplayer was shit because everyone hacked. I think Diablo was easier than diablo 3 as well and about the same length. Agree with most the other points tho, esp the music/writing and stuff.

i gotta say diablo 1's spells and abilities were horribly balanced though compared to diablo 3. in diablo 1 you just logged in/logged out next to adria until she spawned tome of fireball, and you'd get level 10 fireball then win the game. D3's spells/rune system is alot better designed system than the last two games imo.

Still, can't forgive blizzard for taking 10 years to basically rip and rehash everything from their previous games- except adding a terrible story, theme and music. Daiblo 3 seems like it could have been made in 2 months, the script would take a day to write.

I'm still addicted to the game but I don't know for how long. Diablo is all about items and the itemization in this game is just flat-out terrible. When a level 60 WHITE item is better than a level 60 Legendary, or when a blue level 54 item is better than a level 60 Legendary it makes you think why the fuck Blizzard made Legendaries almost impossible to find yet yield absolutely no value.

could you explain me why you want absolutely a legendary ?

Because Legendaries are supposed to be end-game items thus the impossibly low drop rate. If an item is so hard to acquire yet is garbage compared to a regular blue item that drops in Inferno, then what's the point of having differentiation in items if there's no structure?

Any barbs having success clearing inferno act 2 of inferno?

I'm looking for a 1500 dps weapon and I don't give a flying fuck the color of this item is white , blue , yellow , or pink. Actually it's a harder challenge than finding your "impossibly low drop rate" item.
Potentially yellow are better than blue by the way , there are more rare, so "perfect yellow" haven't show up yet becaue the game is only few days old T_T.

It' not that hard to understand ...
let's say blue have 3 caracteristics (A,B,C) yellow 4 (A,B,C,D) , greeen 5 (A,B,C,D,E)
with drop rate on boss : blue 100% yellow 1% green 0.01%
A,B,C,D,E vary between 1 and 100 and you want a item with A,B and C = 100

When it's quite easy to have a blue with those stats 1%x1%x1% = 1/ 1 00 000
you've got 1/10M chance to get a yellow with A,B,C=100 PLUS D
1/1B for green with A,B,C=100 + D+E

maybe b/c people like marius would farm the hell out of legendaries (by exploits/ chest runs), making it very unbalanced for the ppl who don't do that

so i played with my buddy who is a lvl 42 dh and im lvl 32 wd and it took me 3 minutes to kill one of those blue regular units that r a step up above a normal monster LOL
