Waterloo (1970) got me really interested in Napoleon and the history of that period. It shows him during his worst, so i could only imagine how inspiring a movie like that during his greatest period would be.

The best thing about the movie is that all the most bad ass details and quotes are true :D And personally i think dressing up 10.000 russians(!) in french uniform just gives a totally different and much more real experience than CGI ever can give.

They shoulda had a random scene of napoleon jerking off. Since that happened probably quite a few times in his life and would be historically accurate.

But seriously. Napoleon was one of the great generals in history. I feel like if someone's gona make a movie about him they should focus on his military feats and get it right, getting into detail about logistics. Then it would have to be a series.

What the fuck is it with Hollywood? Game of thrones generals put their soldiers in front of walls instead of standing on them. Actually brain damaged level strategies.

Also if your gona mock the great man theory then napoleon is a bad choice.

China is a threat to American hegemony, in 6-10 or so years China gonna surpass usa in economics. Been trying to figure out why he attack Russia when they could have settle it diplomatically. That’s was his downfall in losing his empire. He will forever be among the greatest emperor to live. I bet even grandmasters respect a guy like emperor
