pfth, as i go along, i try solo bosses which seem hard, to see if it's doable, to learn quick reflexes, timings and whatnot, it doesn't appeal much to me, getting really good at your char does, you learn so little when not making mistake it's unreal lol.

what i dont get is: since there is no skill tree, every lvl 60 char of the same race knows the same spells? that really takes the uniqueness away, why would they do this

exactly one of the things i hate about the game ;/
well you have ''rune'' for each spell.. so you can do some modification to it... but still..

I still like what they did with skills, there are so many combinations of things you can try. In D2 most of the characters from the same class were using the same standard builds anyway so in the end I don't think there is much difference. And if you didn't follow a certain build from the internet chances were you wound up with a shitty combination of skills. I remember before finding some instructions on forums I had to start over with a few barbs / paladins before it actually worked, imo that's more annoying than this system.

I've noticed that I am the only Barb that uses every single shout / cry in my hotbar. I like having to make my own builds at a whim.

Currently on hell - gawd I love this game... ;3 so glad I took work off for this haha. Although I have yet to see a 'legendary' drop in the game, so I'm hoping later in hell and in inferno they drop more often?

Oh cool, I'm still awaiting my pc (should be here Monday the latest or maybe tomorrow) but I'll add you once I get online (IRbaboon#2959). Gonna start a SC monk as well, what skills / runes combinations work for the earlier levels?
