pretty easy to find tutorials about how to encode videos correctly online if u look around but if u need any help msg me and i can probably help

helped dzoo crop his video and render it a while back which turned out ok.

k so here's the deal with the first video:

- thor and roman recorded it. it has really high resolution and prob falls under the problematic description that sawseech described. before, they couldn't see the video at all (neither in the .camrec nor in the produced .wmv or .avi). then, they downloaded the codec that day[9] posted, and they were able to see the video in the .camrec.
- after downloading the codec, the .camrec file now displays the video in camtasia. however, rendering it as a .avi still produces an audio-only file, and rendering it as a .wmv just produces a blank 5kb file.
- thor said something about "the first video renders properly with audio and video if i set the dimensions to much smaller, but it only produces a 640x480 section of my screen so you can't see most of the tables"

any thoughts about saving the first video? the .camrec is 1600x1200 and it's 2GB lol
