I am involved in trades there, and I have done trades on the FTP forum, all with 100% success. I contacted Backspin20 on 2+2, and he said that he did not post here. The person who posted here using that name is an imposter and a scammer. I'm trying to catch him in the act. Perhaps you would like to get involved. I'm hoping to get him to reveal his UB and FTP name. I will then post it here and on 2+2 as a warning to others. This should prevent this scammer from receiving future funds on that account. If you're interested in helping, please let me know.

I expect both to be banned...please don't do any deals with either.

Maybe a min post requirment should be made to use this Transfer thread .. I know I don't have a gazillion posts either, but it seems all these issues come from posters with <100 post.

1. Post or PM on 2+2 and/or FTP . If you get a reply from Clamper13, then it's me.

2. Post on 2+2 and/or FTP. Ask there regarding my reputation.

3. Read my posts and their replies at both sites. You'll see by the content of my posts that I take trading seriously, and go out of my way to expose scammers.

You'll see that I posted on 2+2 advising people that a scammer was at work here.

4. Re-read my PM here. Pay special attention to this part.

I was brought over to this thread by a link at 2+2 by Clamper13. I frequent the forum there where we have a transfer thread similar to this one. I don't actually bother with any transfers myself, I just like to keep track of what's going on and try to offer a little input from time to time. Clamper posted about the Backspin20 scammer on here, so I cam over to read a bit about it. Clamper is an enthusiastic anti-scammer, and perhaps goes overboard once in a while...I think his first post here about Backspin20 was an example of that. Well-intentioned, but perhaps not such a good plan...especially in hindsight. That being said, he has since been quite forthcoming about what he was doing, and provided simple ways to check up on him. It seems obvious to me that he is the same Clamper as over at 2+2, and he has given no reason to be distrusted there. Quite the opposite, to this point. So these are the responses he now gets:
