yeah more cliched response from Daemonicus. love these guys with 2k posts and most of them are "lol", "donkaments" (or some other lame variation), "fold life", etc. get original already. i'm not gonna commit suicide because someone tells me to fold life.

the only good part of this site now is the high stakes hand discussion. where the real players post now and we lowly ones can't even post a question of a hand there without getting booted. i'm not talking about posting a hand there, but just asking a question of the better players. i'm all for the cool green stars and red x's so people know who to listen to, but not being able to post somewhere is kinda tyrannical. so maybe i should play one round of hands at nl400 or whatever it takes to be a balla and then post one hand here and then i'll be considered a high stakes player. there are always loopholes and i will find them. btw LOL at NL400 being "high stakes". that's a real joke

as much as you guys don't want to be 2+2, you are slowly heading there more and more everyday, except this lil ole site will never be as big. same attitude, less advertising dollars. 2+2 ftw.

i agree with your "lol" "donkaments" comments there retarded is only ever funny when someone thinks up a new variation of "ament" disagree bout the mods though whislt your right some take their role too seriously (for instance ive seen baal act over the top and be positively rude in situations that he really doesnt need to//shouldnt) but generally they seem friendly and fun guys

Well, I would venture to guess that this site to date has pulled in around 4 million dollars or so in rakeback and referals. Most of which going to 1 person and a little getting spread around.

yes, i know when i get irritated i can't let it go, but it sucks now with this high stakes section because it used to be one big community where everyone meshed together. now if i want advice on a hand, i have to rely on someone playing nl10 to tell me to push preflop. i just think to take my game to the next level i need a new atmosphere if everything stays the same. i agree there should be a high stakes section and like i said earlier even a way to distinguish the difference between high and low stakers. not being allowed to post questions there is kinda sucky though. they've now kinda gone off into their own little mini-community. ya follow? am i way off base by griping about this?

didn't get it closed, but i asked what i thought was an ok question about one of the hands and got red x'ed and can't post there any longer. yes, i know it's privately owned and like TianTian (sp?) suggested i wouldn't go to that lame club any longer just as i won't post here. it's too constrictive and i know i'm not the only one who feels that way. i respect the high stakes guys here and when i work up to that point (which i know i will) then i can exchange ideas with real poker players and not wannabe comedians stuck on nl10.

i dont care about ur whining, but tbh i got to say i liked the old lp more. dunno but somehow i feel this forum got overwhelmed crappy micro stakes discussion about the exact same things over and over again. it is a sad true, that the only quality section now is the high stakes forum.

i cant actually post in the high stakes discussion, never posted there so i dont see the basis for it but can understand them limiting it to high stakes players as the game and way you have to play is so different at high stakes in comparison to micro stakes that a micro player will rarely have anything useful to add to a discussion (still is a shame cos im the exception that proves the rule )

sucks that its been quite a few days without any new high stakes hands being discused, all the hs players dont post much anymore

but yea, quality of the site has dropped significantly, hopefully its just variance

It's so HS players don't get advice from guys playing 10 NL: when someone posts a hand, they don't want advice from lower players, because the posters default move is already better than the lower players default move (which is his advice too).

And i totally understand this. If i don't want nl10er's advice, then i know they sure as hell don't. I would, however, like to post questions there (not advice) and try and learn from these guys. They are the best because they've worked up to where we all strive to go and thus can teach the most. I just think the site would be better if they stuck with the stars and x's, etc., but still allowed the people to post and then you take what you want and can still decipher the shit guys.

nah i totally understand just i swear ive seen micro players actually post (even with a little red X marking them as a jew) but ive never been able too just always wondered. unless it was a pre-emptive idiot strike
