Play what you feel. Yes, the rake structure is the same. That's why zoom has way higher rake per hour, and more $ per hour if your winrates are similar. If you can do well at zoom you can make mad bank.

Zoom is not so great if your learning. But in this day and age you learn off the table anyway, or your done.

True. I am still getting comfortable 4-tabling regular cash games. Betting hotkeys are amazing but not if they are going to lag my games out. I'm so fucking sick of typing in .25 and having another game interrupt it ad infinitum. I just decided to make it .30. I don't think it really matters in these games although it feels like I get 3-bet more when I make it .30.

I'll try Zoom when I am comfortable playing 25 NL. I want to have a BR of $500 before I start taking shots. I realize going the route of starting at 100 NL and just taking shots may be more ideal but I don't think I make enough to do that ($15/hr) and it would feel irresponsible. And, as I have said many times there are probably solver pros starting at 100 NL or even 50 NL so I could be dead in the water.

I don't know man. It's not worth the typing. I mean most of it is not terrible for retired 60+ year olds. I think it's more the fact they have no discernment and watch tv from like 6:30pm to 10:30pm literally every night of the year.

But, I'm upstairs tilted and tired losing money at 10 NL so.........

(I'm probably the bigger loser)

When things in your life aren't great and there isn't much to do poker is one of the most fun things to do until it isn't. It surely is occupying. I just wonder in like 3 months if I am going to look back on this poker season and go "What the fuck man?" but it is fun and stimulating and occupying for the time being. It's more fun than a lot of video games.

They would have to put in a lot of hands but I bet it exists in Russia.

PiO Solver Basic is only $249.

That's true. I didn't realize Ignition was only USA and AUS.

That would be some dedication to be a 50 NL pro and kick some major ass only to make less than a full-time employee at Taco Bell.

I bet you someone is trying it though.

Linus moved to Malta w/ only a laptop to play professionally @ 50 NL.

They just use a strong VPN, in most cases. When I played global poker I found a Russian that was living in canada and probably using ID of friends he made there to make accounts for others back home.

There are cases where people play on chinese apps and pay teams of chinese wage slaves to watch you while you play. Then when the app club guy asks you to speak into the phone to give voice verification, you send a message to one of your wage slaves. They quickly record themselves speaking into the microphone then send you the sound file for you to play it on your phone emulator. If this isn't all done in less than 60 seconds, then your winnings from the session are confiscated.

yea so no 50nl russian is gona go through all dat trouble!! u can only 4 table on there too y would a 50nl person do dis.

thing that sucks for me about ignition/bovada is that they dont accept players that live within a legal poker state (NJ,PA,Nevada, Delaware, Michigan, etc).

so its not a geolocation thing the signup itself is prevented. or rather in my case my OLD account is listed as living in NJ and I need them to unlock it.

theres nothing I can do about it, Vpn or whatever.

pokerstars.pa, .nj, .mi are all very soft..they are better games than ignition and the software is better. Imo they are some of the best games out there. Also it's pretty hard for foreigners to get on them.

They are good games yes but there are some disadvantages too such as traffic being much lower at every stake.

For me its a blessing and a curse I want to gtfo out of NJ but this shit is keeping me here.

Party should open in Nevada in a few months and there's a good chance stars opens in Nevada there in 2023 or 2024
