I found more info about the poker bonus. It's based on raked hand that the player is involved in. We need someone like Daut in his prime to figure out exactly what that means. It said something like 15 "ignition miles" = $1 of rake. 150 "ignition miles" = $1 of bonus cleared. I could be wrong on that just going off the top of my head. That would mean $10 of rake = $1 of bonus cleared. But, then we need to know the rake structure at Ignition and how many pots we are going to play in an hour... it gets a little complicated that's why we need someone like Daut. I'm surprised hiems the wise one wouldn't be up to speed on this stuff either tbh.

I lived in Pittsburgh for 3 years. I probably have more friends there than anywhere tbh. But, obviously moving would probably cost me like $5k at the least. I'd be paying rent. To be pro I always like the idea of 6 months living expenses. I'm obviously not moving on 25 NL money.

I want to know about this solved pre-flop strategy that hiems mentioned the other day. That would get me started. It seems like there is more variation in bet-sizing these days too. I got into that a lot in PLO depending on board textures and perceived ranges but I never got into it that much in NLHE.

Super desktop = $5k
PiO edge = $1k

Let's say living expenses are $2k/month. 6 months = $12k in a liquid situation

Moving expenses = $5k

That's $23k just including bare bones stuff to be setup in Pittsburgh. That's a long way to go at this point considering I'd be playing tired after work every day besides my days off. I'm not sure if it could be done tbh. I just have an inkling that I am going to need a lot of solver work to beat 200 NL. Throwing on $150 as an experiment might be fun though.

I 2 tabled tonight on Ignition for a couple of hours it was pretty fun.

I'm not sure how I feel about the software but the UX / UI isn't bad. I am also not sure how I feel about the anonymous tables. I do think that a 20'' monitor is mandatory for 4+ tabling.

Sesh was pretty standard. Ran decent and won a buy-in.

Biggest hands were I raise QQ utg (6max), fish calls, guy squeezes to sharp size, I make it 22 bbs and the dude decided to shove with the 7s6s. lol.

Some guy punted half a stack into my set.

Some guy limp / called with the Q3o and decided to bluff it all off with complete air

Messing around on Ignition might be something I'm interested in. Of course, I'm going to have losing sessions too which won't be fun but overall it might take my mind off of things and be more fun than video games. Limbo and Inside and Mega Man 2 are pretty fun though. I think if I was better at StarCraft that would be more fun too. But, poker is fun and I get to utilize my keyboard and mouse. I still think League of Legends would be fun even though Loco says it is a shitty game. He never said why?
