I feel tortured yet I feel free. How could that be? Am I masochistic? There are sometimes when I lay my head down on the pillow and it is hopeless. But sometimes I fall asleep when I least expect it. Many times I don't. I know it is partly because I just lie in bed most of the day reading. If I were out in the fields from dawn until dusk I highly doubt there would be sleep problems.

I am finally reading a proper novel. "Ada or Ardor" by Vladimir Nabokov.

That's really all I am doing. Not much to report. I've been painting a little bit. I've been inspired by "murky" colors. A lot of grays and browns.

I am inspired to make my own tea glasses (yunomi). I don't currently have access to materials or a kiln but I will when quarantine is up hopefully. I wish to make stoneware yunomi as a gift for friends and family. 1 per person only each individually made by me. That is something that I am excited about.

I am also inspired to start baking my own Italian bread. Water, flour, yeast, salt. I could do that tomorrow.

I am listening to some Palestinian music that is actually quite rousing. It's making me think about strangling some Israeli scum. Before I get my noob ass Krav Maga'd to death.

It feels like I am so far away from sleep. I am on a break for it. A break for what? I will say I never quite know where the rabbit hole will take me. I can't just write in these white spaces forever.

I made some bread from scratch today. It turned out very well. I was pleased. There is something very therapeutic to kneading the dough. The smells and the taste of fresh baked bread are perhaps equally or more therapeutic.

Another thing I would like to do is to dye my own t-shirts. I love color mixing in painting and want to take that to the t-shirt dying realm. I am unsure if one can mix dyes. I would even like to experiment with saving blueberry juice from frozen blueberries or pomegranates or crushing up chocolate, etc. and dying some shirts that way. I have heard dying shirts can be a pain due to the permanence of the dye. I might have to hand wash the shirts each time which would also be a pain. Does anyone here have experience with dying t-shirts?

So the guy that sometimes fantasizes about killing nazis also sometimes fantasizes about killing jews. Hrm....

He's not fantasizing about "killing jews", he's quite obviously referring to the ultra-racist Israelis that are involved in the ongoing Palestinian genocide.... which is a David and Goliath fight if there ever was one. You'd have to be a little dim to think it's anti-Semitic to side with David.

oh.. THOSE jews. My bad. I didn't realize we were talking about the jews that it's okay to murder. I also didn't realize that not agreeing with murdering jews means I am siding with Israel.

My ethics isn't too good. What would you do if there was a group of "Jews" about to rape, torture, and kill a group of Palestinian civilians? Whose side would you be on?

Also, I don't see how a few "Jews" aren't going to be murdered in the conflict. Please illuminate us with a peaceful resolution.

Also, I wouldn't say it's a fantasy to kill "Israeli scum." It's just a thought. I would much prefer not to kill anyone. A fantasy would be I come across some sociopathic bully about to rape, torture, and murder some women and children civilians. We agree to fight hand to hand. I take his back and synch in a stellar rear naked strangle and strangle him to within an inch of his life. When he comes to making weird wheezing sounds in front of his buddies I tell them to scram and never come back to these parts. Some of the older women invite me over for a classic Palestinian feast. I start to date and have a rewarding romantic relationship with the 28 year old beauty of the bunch.

My dad was watching some absolute shit on tv and my mom was talking loudly on speaker upstairs near my room so I decided to read for the first time ever out on the porch. It was hot outside but the soothing sound of the trees and the birds was much obliged. I finally finished Herbert Marcuse's "One Dimensional Man." I had very high expectations for this book and just thought it was ok. Well, maybe a little better than just ok. After finishing it I just laid there staring at the trees for quite a while contemplating life. The plants and the birds have been here longer than we have. It's amazing just how much we humans are fucking it up. The forest behind my parents' house is decent sized. One can still here the occasional oversized, overengined cars across the way. It is still very peaceful though.

Typically can't go wrong with seeing where Noam Chomsky stands on the issue:

I have been digging to find out who has the construction contracts in Israel but haven't had much success.

I found from Wiki that Israel gets $9.1 billion from the US in arms transfer agreements and ~$3 billion a year in grants. I am not sure entirely how this breaks down to how much military equipment is given or sold to Israel. Not that Lockheed, et al. give a damn whether the US pays for it or Israel pays for it. What a mother fucking racket. Chomsky talks about Apache helicopters being given to Israel. So, US taxpayers paying for Apache helicopter raids on Palestinian civilians.... lovely. I did a search on who they are supplying all their weapons to and it is frightful. #2 is Iraq. Great strategy blow up an entire country with your weapons and then contract out all the construction work to their buddies. It's a double whammy. And everyone is in bed with Lockheed, et al. That fucking settlement is never getting signed by the US (or Israel).

We're talking about the temporary, unstable and random thoughts or fantasies of a powerless, isolated and mentally ill person who doesn't have a history of violence. We're not talking about actualizing murder and the ethics of that, and even less so something that's ethnically/religiously motivated. Unless you think people should be convicted for having violent thoughts, i.e. you are a believer in "thought crime", you should be able to overlook this pretty easily. Instead you turned it into a "wow, so you're like the Nazis you hate then?!" statement. They're really not comparable.
