I'm here to bring a message of love and hope. The crisis that we are all facing has been expected for a long time.
The way we humans have been living, the way we treat the planet, the animals and each other, the lack of compassion, of love to one another, the greed, the social inequality, all of that can be summarized in one thing: lack of consciousness. But that is about to change.
The following years will bring spiritual awakening to a large part of the planet, which will in turn shift the entire system to a more harmonious and peaceful state, where certain behaviors of the past will no longer be acceptable.
Before we reach such a state, we will have to endure a lot of pain, a lot of suffering. Each death will spark awakening in others, a search for deeper meaning. Slowly, we will all change, and the world will change.
You don’t need to wait until the pain reaches your door in order to look for the truth. Pain is a great teacher, but a nasty one. You can start now. Now is the time. A billion people in the planet are already locked inside. They have been forced to deal with nothing but their own selves, something they have been avoiding their entire lives by covering their true nature with drugs, social media, brainless entertainment, sex, etc. Stop. Meditate. Look for teachers online, look for books, seek. Now is the time, don’t waste this opportunity.
Lightworkers have been preparing for this moment for years now. The message I bring is something that is meant to touch those who somehow connect with it. I understand and expect that some of you will feel the urge to hate on me. That’s fine, totally ok. Just know this, I will not engage with your hate. I will not engage in any debate. I will only answer those who come in honesty and good heart. I have a lot of work to do, we all do. Stay safe, stay in.

I use the term spiritual awakening loosely here. It generally means that someone reached a point in their spiritual development where there is no turning back to their old ways. Where they start to constantly look for a deeper meaning, because they had, in some way, a taste of the truth. At this point, the person starts to transform into a whole different person. It is as if their old self dies, and something new is born. This is spiritual awakening.
It can also mean that someone reached spiritual enlightment, but usually that is a consequence of the spiritual awakening process. It's very rare to reach enlightment with a 'bang'. It's usually a gradual process.

There is one very simple difference. Religion has the possibility of being accessible to all. New Ageism, on the other hand, is always elitist, as it is first and foremost a product of capitalism and an ideological extension of it which serves it.
The Church is free. So are Buddhist vipassana retreats or Hindu ashrams. They are donation-run. New Age teachers are never free. They compete with each other for your attention and money. They grant special privileges to those with more money. Tutz's guru is a multi-millionaire who charges thousands of dollars per retreat.
They use religion to their advantage, as a market to exploit, whereas people with a truly religious spirit throughout the ages have always devoted their lives to serving the needy and did not have such interest in exploiting others. New Agers typically do not help the most vulnerable, unless it makes them look good or helps their bank account grow.

1) He is incorrect about the way desire functions. It is not possible to accumulate a lot of money while not desiring it. Money doesn't just "find its way" to a person. This is deceptive. He has put an enormous amount of time desiring and working on putting out unnecessary products into the world at specific prices in order to accumulate that money. It was not gifted to him, and it did not fall from the sky.
This is why Jesus said, "Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God."
2) He is not following his own teachings by "enjoying it for a while and letting it be enjoyed by someone else". He is hoarding tons of wealth while people go hungry.
3) At 2:36 of the above video the cognitive dissonance of not living according to his own principles appears in the form of stumbling on his words and not being sure what to say.
4) Pretty much every single extremely wealthy person believes that they are a force for good in the world. They are incapable of thinking otherwise. They have all sorts of cognitive biases and rationalizations to justify their obscene wealth and self-centeredness. Tolle is no different, according to his own actions.

Perhaps I can make an attempt at a more perspicuous post.
Spirituality to me is the moment Christ realizes he is doomed to die for the sins of humanity. He leaves the party goes down to his knees and quietly whispers "Let Thy will be done." We live in a Godless world however. So, what does that mean?
I have apparently had a "profound spiritual experience" in the fact that I have not drank for nearly 6 years. That is the apparent explanation. It was a profound spiritual experience more so of the educational variety. A psychic change. It is difficult to pinpoint an exact awakening. I remember sharing all of my resentments, fears, sexual inventory in the context of my life and feeling a great relief. I remember walking out on top of a hill overlooking the city and feeling that I could be a part of society again. That I could look everyone in the eye. I don't need to bore you of all of the details of my "spiritual experience."
Spirituality is not how many likes one can get on facebook. How many instagram followers. Or how many millions one can acquire. I am convinced of that. I am not actually convinced of what spirituality entails. The AA crowd would lead one to believe it is about minimizing the ego. Humble yourself. God is everything. What if God is dead? An egoist who fought in Rojava is more "moral" and "spiritual" than some guy that prays and goes to 3 AA meetings a day and is especially "more spiritual" than some guy who parades his spirituality on instagram.
There is nothing bigger than us and nature. There is no meaning to life. We have to reconcile that and live our lives.

Tutz is right in one respect...this world scale catastrophe will change world view's of entire demographics drastically once this is all said and done (aka when we achieve herd immunity or a vaccine is developed whichever comes first) How people view day to day "normalcy" will also change.
Youtube can be a great resource of all things...but there's so much bullshit to sift through. Don't just agree with viewpoints that reinforce your world view..expand out. See what the other side is saying.
