7 States don't have income tax: Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming.

Out of these states, which is the best to live in? I'm looking at Vegas or one of the big cities in Texas. I could potentially get a duplex and rent out half. What do yall think?

• Alaska = You'd be far from everything, and need to fly to do anything outside of the city/town you'd live in.
• Florida = Not a great state if you plan to have a non-gambling job, as the salary is shit, and the cost of living keeps increasing. Also, everything above Orlando is weird as fuck and this area is mostly filled with white people, whereas everything below Orlando is mixed (a lot of people from the islands of Puerto Rico, Cuba, Dominican Republic, and Haiti).
• Nevada = You'd find yourself gambling more, so if you're into poker, this might not be a great state for you.
• South Dakota = No idea.
• Texas = Depends which city you want to live in, as Texas is so different when you travel to the main cities.
• Washington = Good, chill state.
• Wyoming = No idea.

You could also consider Rosarito (Mexico).

I think Vegas is the best. Haven't lived in the Texas cities. Probably the biggest difference between Vegas/Texas is that Vegas has a small town feel to it/has "gathering places" (the casino) where you can meet people easily. Furthermore Vegas is a transient town so being a transplant is probably more common/accepted.

Texas probably still has decent poker games though at those poker houses. Vegas obv has good poker.

AZ has income tax but it's pretty low and is a cheap place to live; probably comparable to NV living wise (of course NV would be funner)

i'm pretty sure austin is widly different than the rest of TX; got portland vibes while i was there for a little bit

seattle seems like a cool place to live; i may be biased since i prefer cooler weather

How much does it cost to live in vegas? What areas are best?

I need to escape california's health care mandate and their high income tax. Trying to get a room there asap!

Florida for the weather and the women. Quality of life much better than any of those other states.
