-will last a long time
-heavy duty zipper that goes all the way down the sides
-also formal
-might get worried about something happening to it or forgetting it, have to keep it off the floor in a bathroom stall, don't want to lose my stuff

If it's for business, get something more expensive. If personal then something functional will do unless you got the dough.

Why do you need a man purse?

I wouldn't buy any of these for business, would get #4 for personal use if needed though.

Man purse is super efficient for 2-3 days stay aways, but otherwise I dont really see its purpose otherwise unless your job requires it

I remember reading a quote by Michael Kors. Something like "If you are ugly get expensive sunglasses, an expensive bag, and an expensive watch." I think he considered himself ugly because anytime I've seen him he's had on expensive sunglasses, an expensive bag, and an expensive watch. Of course you also need expensive shoes and expensive well fitted clothing. Don't forget the expensive car and the expensive flat. Then there is the expensive furniture. Then you can get expensive artwork and candles and lamps. I think I spent a thousand or so on a desk lamp. I still have it. It's sitting in my brother's basement.

To be honest I thought the $70 bag was the most expensive and aesthetic. I can appreciate needing a bag and actually wanting a nice bag but don't try to stunt. You don't have the bankroll. The only bag I ever had was like a $70 Targus laptop bag from Walmart. It treated me well over the years. It still treats me well say 10 years later.

I think all of us on LP can afford a $300 bag, right? These bags aren't even expensive when compared to the popular brands.

Also, I wouldn't purchase any of the bags he posted, since carrying around a bag still looks dumb as fuck for guys.

As for recent purchases, I'm waiting for these new Chelsea boots to be delivered: https://thursdayboots.com/products/me...y-suede-chelsea?variant=2416437100553

^ Yea your probably right I guess $300 really isn't alot to be paying for a bag.

idk but maybe that is just what society wants you to think. I've been finding it really tempting to fall into the materialism trap lately.

Those boots are pretty dope at that price point. Meaning you can find doper for like $500+ but there are diminishing returns unless the utility of the money doesn't mean much.

I know I am trying to be less materialistic but chelsea boots are dope. Although I am forced into monk life after losing my job. It's almost a "blessing" I didn't get my tax refund yet as I was planning to blow that on chelsea boots, a leather jacket, and/or tattoos.

$300 for a bag for me right now would be ludicrous. I already have a perfectly good one and I am not seeking any sort of occupation where a bag would be worthwhile utility wise or status wise. I think Santafairy might do something that it makes sense to have a nice bag. It's like a real thing. When I worked in an office people were judged for stuff like that. That's like middle America laughable bullshit which is why I stay away from that these days but I really can't hate on people who can thrive in that environment and be mostly happy and content with their life. My brother and sister-in-law are like corporate America stars and I just get the feeling they don't go through nearly as much anguish as me. My dad was the same way.

If you want to be ahead of the curve stuff like this is "cool," "in fashion," whatever you want to call it:

It would set you back $600 and it doesn't look like you could carry much in there.

I don't buy any clothing item if it's above 50 bucks
Seems like wasted money to me? Except if you need something functional like sports gear or formal wear for a function what's the point

"ahead of the curve" LOL, if this had first been presented to you on the average overweight guy instead of Mr. I'mFamousAndMakeEverythingCool you wouldn't think twice about it being a fashion item.
