Pretty decent fight even if it was 30-27 for Gus to

gus got dominated on his feet and looked like shit but jan can't defend a takedown at all or get off his back so gus wins.

after seeing that gus has 0 equity vs rumble. he will never have a belt

jan won the first round too... should have been 29-28 not 30-27

Gustafsson looked bad.

Hopefully he doesn't fight Cormier or Rumble or Jones for awhile.

Gus's takedowns are sneakily underrated. But yeah still way too hittable so yea drawing dead vs rumble. Same with dc to a bit lesser degree but dc doesn't have more than a cpl years left prob

surprised arlovski survived that mount... if he hadnt of had his takedown reversed he may have been up 2 rounds

hopefully arlovski retires after this

Barnett didn't look his best out there, but he got the job done.

Arlovski should be cut after this, or matched up against the winner of Bigfoot and Roy Nelson on September 24.

Good grit from grandpa Barnett. Andrei obviously had his early moments but he actually looked up at the clock midway through that very first round when he was kinda stalling with Barnett on the ground. Hopefully does retire. That cardio isn't getting better

I am sad that Danho confirmed his terrible performance from his UFC debut yet with another underwhelming performance.

I hurts to say , since i know him , have trained with him and i know that he works very very hard.
But truth is -> Danho just isnt premium material from a fighters competitive sports view. Never was and never will be.

I have seen him/his mind "quit" soo many times now.during fights both in competition and training... When things dont run as planned the first 2 minutes he just simply doesnt want to be in there anymore.
He shuts down like a kid competing in 1000m running who after 500m stops and decides it rather wants to be somewhere else and have a good time.

As an MMA fighter you have to enjoy "violence". you have to enjoy feeling pain as much as delivering pain.
you have to feel comfortable and alive when things get dangerous.

You have to love the feeling of being in danger.

Danho isnt like that.
Danho loves learning boxing .
Danho loves learning MMA.
He loves learning new stuff. But deep down i think he just doesnt love fighting.

He doesnt want to be a killer who enjoys violence.... he just wants to test himself. He is not the guy who enjoys being in a real fight with pain and blood and struggles

I am happy for Ayari though.
Not interesting to watch for viewers.. but still impressive imo

U see what i did there with A8 ? He 4 bets and there we go insta jam A8 : ---booooom -- . hahahaha ( Krantz)Last edit: 04/09/2016 04:00

It doesn't seem as if Germany will produce any legit prospects for awhile, which kinda sucks.

Sobotta did good tonight, but let's be real, he won't ever challenge for the title, let alone be a top-5 UFC fighter.

Danho... ...nobody expected him to be good, but he's worse than we thought.

Hein... ...it's impossible for him to look impressive in the octagon, even with the low level the UFC keeps feeding him in his return to Germany 1 time per year.

Ayari did good tonight, and I expect him to TKO his next opponent with his style, but he still has a lot of work to do. If he moves to USA and joins a legit team, he can probably go the furthest out of these 4 guys who represent Germany.
