I'm Python817 on stars and have been around here a long time but barely play poker anymore. Neillys owed me 2.5k for like 5 years now and hes blocked me from facebook/skype a while ago and I kinda just forgot about it. Since I see him post here every now and then I thought I'd leave this here. I've seen quite a few blog posts about him paying everyone back and even said in 1 of them I was the only one he hasn't payed. Guess he figured I don't know any of his friends or talk to many people in the poker community he didn't feel the need to pay me . Even tho I know a lot of you guys dont like him from what I've heard hes usually paid his debts eventually. So if any of you know him or if you see this neilly and decide to pay me back just ship it to python817 on stars thanks.

You're right neilly you didnt block me from skype my mistake but you did delete me from facebook after our last conversation about this on there. The last conversation we had over a year ago was you telling me you'll pay me back soon for the 10th time. I dont see any point of us talking since it'll just end in you saying the same thing if you need a reminder every few months here it is. Also when you keep saying I'm literally the last debt you have that doesnt really inspire much confidence since you said that over 2 years ago. I cant delete this but I'm sure the mods can after you pay me back.

Sorry python, it might seem ridiculous to chase and beg for your own money but that's the punishment for giving out a bad loan. It's not a coincidence that you are the last one Neilly owes. Others got paid because they wanted the money more than you did. You're gonna have to constantly remind who ever that owes you and hope that you get something little by little. Setting a a realistic payment plan is a working solution as well. If you're expecting the full 2.5k at once, you're better off writing it off.

If you think chasing your money is not worth your time, write it off. I've done it many many times. One thing this business taught me is that you never want to loan money to someone that really needs a loan.

yea unless the staking is to allow someone to play significantly higher such that the stakee's winrate after the backer gets his cut is decently higher than it would be had he be playing his normal games on his own it gets a little sketchy.

sounds like this might have been a no interest loan among friends though? If so unfortunate result for both. I actually do think Neilly will pay you when he can though.
