Its alright I understand and I've learned, when I gave neilly the money I didnt know any better. This isn't something I'm gonna lose sleep over so if neilly decides to pay me back even if its $10 at a time then great if not I thought people would like to know since he does come here a lot and I dont think talking on skype would get me anywhere anyways.

I think it was absolutely the right descision to go public...

Neilly is a complete asshole for making it sound like "Python" is the bad person in this.
I hate when people have such a twisted mind.

Sometimes when I read Neilly's posts, it feels like there are 3 different persons there struggling for control of his body.

The neilly debt was caused by greedy highstakes players tricking him with subprime loans!

it's not a twisted mind , it's a conscious decision to attempt textbook manipulation.

it's a warped attempt to justify whatever reasons he's had for not paying Python back over the years to make it morally OK in his own mind

is it unethical to say neilly owes you money if he doesn't but wouldn't remember anyway

It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus Hansen

LP isn't changing the fact that I am paying off a debt that is in my books. I never ever tried to make him feel bad. Python and I go way back. This is from him putting me in some real highstakes shit when I was like microstakes player with a little MTT talent.

I was always going to pay it lol, he could have msged me instead of posting this on the internet after not chatting for a year. Literally over a year, which is like, yo dude, just send me a msg? make this public about 2k before even asking me a question?

I like what Andrew said, this is the most logical way, ~250-$500 payments seem most logical.

I did most of my debt paying off while in Canada / Costa Rica on my poker trips, in the USA its been tougher to make that kinda $, I shoulda gotten that 2k sent to ya while I was up there, was sending $ to everyone..... (MTT Life paid good sometimes)

I think if you want it faster, then we can work out a payment plan. LOL ON SKYPE THOUGH. IM not handling this all public.

You will get paid.

Its been tough to handle this stuff after quitting MTT's, but I have continued to chip away at the last of what I owe and will get you paid up bud. I think I'll be playing NL100+ again very soon, I'd look for first payment in July.

Thats all I can really say about that, other than posting this on the main page is really rude, when you can contact me via Skype or Private Message here.

When I first Saw the message, I was quite pissed off, it was like, are you kidding me? you do have my contact info right!?
If it seemed I was angry, it was just because you put this on a public forum instead of coming to me about it which you haven't done in FOREVER. I can not remember the last time we talked. That felt quite personal when you could have taken a much better approach.

I'm thankful you took this approach though, because ANdrew chimes in and you will get paid faster in payments, so I assume thats the way we go. SKYPE me, we can hook up bank accounts etc there. I'll pay u as I can, probably around late june to mid july 1st payment.

Guys, I sound like that cuz i smoke alot and i never proofread anything, i just type and post. sometimes i look back at my posts and laugh, I do understand where u guys are coming from That Purple Fire is magic

sounds like this might have been a no interest loan among friends though? If so unfortunate result for both. I actually do think Neilly will pay you when he can though.

The way this worked out was - He put me in high stakes tournaments, if I lost I pay back 50% of the buy-ins. After all was done, I owe him 2.5k, that was in like 2009 or something. Actually had it at 2k in my books, didn't think it was 2.5, but w/e.

Neilly trying to make himself look like a good guy by saying he thinks it's only a 2k loan but w/e he'll pay back 2.5k. Haha. Such a scumbag

OP, I think the real issue here is that you loaned the Neilly kid 5k in tourney buy ins.
a) wtf were you thinking?
b) were you thinking?
c) have you been examined by a mental health professional? it would likely benefit you to do so

Here's to the nellly kid. Long may he reign

I was told by some people to not pay u back after they met you, yet my reply was "fuck that i will, just when i can"

To Publicly go about collecting 2.5k from me when i cleared nearly 50k in debts in the last few years is ridiculous bud.

I honestly had more important and bigger ones to pay off that were more severe, and if you want to collect from me, do you really think calling me out infront of a forum of people is going to expedite the process?

Mate, you have serious issues. Read your first sentence, and then re-read it, and once you've done that, re-read it again.

Neilly, I've always felt sorry for you, because you've been on a constant struggle for 10 years. But you're coming off as an asshole now. Can you really imagine doing this for another 40 years? I'd recommend you to get some real life experience. You obviously have stamina and are eager/stubborn to learn, so I'm more than sure that you'll be able to succeed in other areas.

I'm not writing this to put you down.

Milkman lol i didnt spend half a thousand on a phone so i could play it cool and be all stealthLast edit: 12/05/2016 15:34
