the bad thing is that this seems pretty straight forward from now on. Cersei and the lannisters will be dealt with by either john or danerys possibly both and the last remaining enemy are the zombies.

I think it really has happend enough stuff so far that the whole GOT story is ready to come to an end.
I furthermore still think there are enough sideplots to keep stuff interesting.

Arya Stark and her Deathlist
The Hound and the Mountain
The Red Woman
Euron Greyjoy
The Brotherhood Without Banners
Littlefinger

There is plenty of material to happen besides the obvious big battles that will come.

The big battles could indeed be straight forward

Daenerys and her army should be in Kings Landing by approx 1month travel time.
That would be a lot faster than Jon Snow could be at Kings Landing with a land army (they would need 1 month preperation at least +2month of travel )

So i guess it should be Dany vs everybody from the south in Season 7
After that Dany + Jon Snow vs White Walkers in Season 8

U see what i did there with A8 ? He 4 bets and there we go insta jam A8 : ---booooom -- . hahahaha ( Krantz)Last edit: 29/06/2016 11:46

isn't Dany's army overkill?

dothraki, tyrell's, dorne, unsullied, and dragons

In what kind of scenario does westeros have any outs?

This.

Regarding the Varys stuff, the action in the last episode is most likely spread through at least a month in their universe. Thats only natural.

What I didn't understand is :
A) How did Daenerys get all of those ships ?
B) If those ships are Yara's why the fuck didn't she just take the Iron Thrones by herself ?

Unless they took the master's ships in which case, I've missed it in the show. Also I'm guessing the main problem will be the white walkers in the upcoming seasons so even small inner fights between clans would be quite interesting considering the white walkers pressure.

One of the producers released his explanation/justification for the teleporting issue.

If you look at the sails of the ships some of them are Daenarys which she took from the Masters after they surrendered. She only burned like 2-3 of them. The others belong to House Tyrell/Highgarden, Dorne, and Yara/Theon which means this was a time jump of several months and their negotiations were successful.

Things will likely play out predictably from here on:
-Dany takes out Balon Greyjoy's brother and Cersei with help of Dorne/Olenna Tyrell
-Bran moves south of the wall, tells Jon who he really is
-Bran passing the wall lifts the spells it has and allows whitewalkers to pass south too
-whitewalkers kill lots of stuff til dragons stop them
-Dany reigns as queen but leaves no successor and after her death throne passes to Jon and his heirs

Some bolder predictions on things that may happen (these may contradict each other, just random predictions on shit that may go down for twist purposes):
-Arya kills Tyrion for completeness in destroying the Lannister line
-Dany dies in whitewalker battle, Jon becomes king
-Littlefinger kills Jon, manipulates his way to hand of queen under Dany
-Littlefinger kills Jon and marries Dany, becomes king
-Jon and Dany never discover they are related and marry
-white walkers kill at least one dragon and possibly even win the war

With the exception of Arya killing Tyrion (really think this happens, most likely twist to kill off one of the beloved characters, especially given how things usually turn out for the Hand of the king/queen) I don't think any of these things will happen, but just pointing out that despite the remaining events seeming obvious, there are many unpredictable paths the show could take and none would be disappointing.

I agree with your initial predictions except I think Jon and Dany will for sure get married and this will merge her army with the North. There really isn't anyone on the show that she could marry from Highgarden or Dorne at this point. I also think that Jon will tell her that they are both Targaryen since incest is one of that families traditions (to keep the bloodline pure). Littlefinger is definitely a wildcard, no clue what he will do. Most likely he will follow along until the threat of the Whitewalkers is eliminated, and everyone else is weakened, then make his power move.

I used to dislike Cersei

Now im starting to really like her. It felt like justice. Its a character I can relate to now. Not showing up for her trial, just blowing the entire building up instead is so awesome that I started to laugh while watching it. She is impressive and really good at playing the game / setting people up.

I guess she and Jamie are more than smart enough to simply surrender facing Tyrion and the Mother of Dragons... (if nothing happens on their way to Kings Landing)

I think its because shes not just making stupid emotional decisions anymore. But i used to literally despise her and wanted her to hurry up and die. I think some of my hate came from books since I always felt like Jamie would be so much cooler if it wasn't for her.
I wouldn't say I necessarily like her now but it's just weird not hating her lol.

Yeah, it's funny someone would find her more likeable now when it seems like the writers intention was the exact opposite - to make her, from this point on, a pure villain without any redeeming qualities. It looks set up in a way that even Jaime will turn against her.

Peace of mind cant be bought.

We like her now because she's truly formidable.

Before, she was just:

- Not as smart or powerful as Tywin.
- Not as pretty or relevant as Margaery.
- Not as scary or intimidating as Ramsay.
- Not as cunning as Varys or Littlefinger.

She wasn't number one in any category, just an idiot under the delusion that she could possibly compete with the big dogs.

Well... looks like she learned.

Its a character development situaton, not only about what she's done. She went from inept at every aspect to the one in control and has basically gotten revenge from everything taken away from her.

cersei went /afk torturing some old women instead of being with her son right after everyone he cared about was killed

also created so many enemies killing parts of different peoples families but not the entire family

even if dany wasn't coming, cersei would still have to deal with dorne + tyrell

this "victory" of hers was one small suckout in one hand of the many hands still left to be played in the game of thrones
