If any of those two fighters sucks its definitely Boetsch. |
Thanks champ that might be why he's an underdog.
|
Okey my comment was pretty dumb but why would you say thales sucks? Boetsch has looked horrible lately and should be 1-4 in his last 5 fights but got a robbery win against CB. Meanwhile Thales leites has done good in all of the fights I´ve seen and can remeber, 9-2 in UFC with 1 loss to Anderson Silva and a split decision loss to Alessio sakara. |
I think they're both not very good so I'm really trying to figure out whether Boetsch should be as big of an underdog as he is. |
I've seen some improvement in Leites, and I think he's the better fighter;however, I'd take Boetsch at +220. You'll probably be able to get a better price on Leites during/after round 1. |
I've seen a shitload of improvement in Leites. Than again, I think he's for sure juicing. Just one man's humble opinion. I have no evidence other than what my two eyes tell me. Either way, that only makes him a tastier pick until he gets caught. Pretty bad matchup for the Barbarian but I definitely agree he's a live dog, wouldn't bet on him though. Wouldn't bet on either, I feel the true line lies right in the juice (the Vegas juice, not the Laites juice). |

If you are going to bet Overeem you might just bet for a decision, he has been extremely tentative in his striking lately and with his new found cardio, and need to land wins theres no way he will risk eating Nelsons overhand right.
Im puzzled about Jackson idea about rebuilding Overeem he probably figured his power tank approach was too exploitable nowadays with his crystal chin and saw too much technical ability wasted in punching power |

Totally agree ,the only two ways this fight ends is Overeem by decision and Nelson by KO. |

It's weird how mediocre his MMA striking is. I mean not even just defense and chin, but offense as well. I mean he couldn't finish Mir or Bigfoot on the feet. He throws like one punch at a time always now and is super tentative.
Weird thing though is, he's been in the two best guards in the HW division for extended amounts of time and was never even remotely in trouble. He was in Mir & Werdums guard longer than anyone just about. His grappling is super good, and he can basically out grapple anyone in the division minus a couple of guys with great TDD like Cain, JDS, Stipe, and maybe Browne. Everyone else he should be able to toss and grind out a 3 round decision or get a TKO/Sub. |

He only uses defensive BJJ at heavyweight. In a couple different UFC fights, he's had his opponents neck as he controlled them on their knees. Back at light heavyweight, he would've attempted a standing guillotine or a regular guillotine. He's probably too afraid to gas his arms out and/or end up on bottom with a regular guillotine. |

Well finishing BigFoot is not an easy task, rmember Hunt couldnt do it either and actually Reem was on his way to do it, and against Mir it was the scared "new" Reem that seem to suck even worse but I have faith in Jackson and hopefully he is taking Reem somewhere. |

Well he did try a guillotine in his Shogun fight, failed, and nearly got killed. There's a video of him back stage afterwards and he looks near death after the beating Shogun gave him. |

McGregor is at -1000 with the biggest name he's fought being Dustin Pourier. That's fucking crazy. I think there is still too much unknown about Conor to be betting this fight.
LOVE Benson at -130. |

Dunno, Cormier, Cain twice, Pele, and Arlovski all treated him like a bitch in the stand up and ko'd him in like 2 minutes or less. I expect someone like Reem to do the same but he couldn't.
Bigfoot was juiced to the gills against Hunto, so maybe that played a part in that. Hunto actually didn't hit him much in the first few rounds when he was fresh IIRC. Bigfoot was mostly out boxing him. |
