You don't know what the fuck you're talking about... I'm the least bias MMA bettor that you'll mostly like ever come across.

I lost money on all the juice I paid on Benson with extra bets I made before the fight, but me betting him doesn't change the way I feel about the result, as you can see with the hedge I made on Cerrone.

Most bettors I saw online were in agreement that Benson won. Many people said they were lucky to come away with the win, and that they thought Benson won. Did you even see the reaction and the way Cerrone carried himself after the fight and as the result was read.

Edit.*

Woah there buddy. Woah. I respect you, your opinions, that you take the time to make these boards, etc.... not every argument needs to become heated. I agree most bettors thought Benson won. All I ever said was that it wasn't a robbery.

I also think Cerrone won that, plus the whole trend of rewarding the guy who wants to finish more. Betting the house on Mcgregor once they fight in Brazil or wherever they choose

only betting mcgregor at +250 or more

And I scored the co-main 29-28 for Cerrone. Didn't think it was a robbery at all, Cerrone had him walking back constantly for the first two round and landed just as many strikes. On top of that he landed a takedown in round 2. Nothing else really stood out in any of those rounds... And on a side note, fuck Benson for complaining, that guy has run so fucking good at decisions in the past. It's like watching some sun runner in PLO complain about having one small losing session.

Agree, besides Benson isn't exceptional compared to the fighters that have same goals, he s pretty solid, but overall just runs good.
Cerrone is a fucking beast in my opinion, he takes any fight any time he s offered. He didn't even have time to prepare properly for this, don't think he has any chance against Pettis unless he flukes, but definitely deserves the title shot now

Seems like it was close enough not to call it a robbery, but still a bad decision if it was clear enough for 90% of people to agree it should have been Henderson. I lost money but part of me is happy that someone willing to fight two top contenders within two weeks ended up winning both. Most manly man of all time. What a stud. They need to give him the title shot as a reward for saving this card by taking a ridiculous risk.

Bet Aldo -195 (current U.S. event line) for $195.

Benson fought very friendly.
I think when a fight is so so close just give it a draw.I do not understand why there are so few matches ending a draw.
Easy 10-10 first and third round.Happy for Cowboy though. He is great ,as is Benson so it is OK.
Connor took 1-2 solid punches very well. That was what impressed me.I hope he beats Aldo ,but Jose is very tough and it should be a great fight.

Did something happen other than the fight?

I agree with this. I thought it was a really close fight, but I felt like the commentary was just so incredibly Henderson biased it made me question what I was seeing...

i had it 30-27 henderson, but all of the rounds were close. Not a robbery, but was surprised to see Bendo on the losing end of a controversial decision.

Think CM is amazing; hes very jon jones like on the feet, but with better hands and more power. his movement, accuracy and distance management are the best in MMA. still think hes a big dog to aldo: ~30% to win. aldo's speed edge should be the key advantage. I also think that CM is pretty susceptible to leg kicks, as are most without a dangerous wrestling shot. thats not to say CM isnt a good wrestler, seems very strong in the clinch and has good balance, he just hasnt shown a quick shot.

given his accuracy and power i wouldnt be surprised if CM can get a finish after accumulation of damage, but his most likely road to victory is having an edge in later rounds when aldo's super fast twitch muscles are moving a little slower. but i do see aldo winning the early rounds and maybe even outgrappling conor on his way to a 49-46 type decision.

imo the only reason why Aldo is a favourite is because of the leg kicks, lately we havent seen him throw that many but CM is the perfect candidate, not a wrestler and narrow stance if by some reason leg kicks arent a big factor in the fight i think CM will take it

It's certainly isn't easy to call who is the one with the overall advantage in this one, but with McGregor having the bigger frame, I think it'll be competitive on the feet, perhaps even favoring the Irish. It comes down to who can push the pace the longest (since both are really good on the feet). It's good for the sport if McGregor takes it, don't think anyone can argue with this...

one of these guys has beaten mendes 2x, edgar, lamas, faber, swanson, is arguably the most complete fighter of all time, and has been top 3 p4p for 5 years with no sign of slowing down. one of them has 0 top 7 wins and is basically untested in an entire portion of MMA. i love conor and think he passes every eye test with flying colors, but aldo being less than -200 is mind blowing to me.

I can easily argue that. By my definition the UFC being bigger or mroe popular isn't necessarily an improvement for the sport. The only definition that would fall under is the sport being larger, not better. It's good for more people in the world enjoying MMA, but UFC growth is certainly not directly associated more enjoyable times for current fans. The cards they put on nowadays because they are a bigger sport/company have been absolutely shitty for the sport as a whole. They reach more people with these shitty cards so it is the preferred business model and I can understand why they're doing it. This definition of something being good for the sport just because its larger is something I have always struggled with. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say the enjoyment of MMA was higher when it was smaller with more focused cards by Pride/UFC. Jose Aldo is a fucking animal one of the best (imo the best based on current skill and record) fighters to walk this planet. I really enjoy Conor McGregor as well and it would be great to see him as a champion but don't agree with more eyes=good for the sport.

I agree that the line should be 66/33 Aldo. I don't think Aldo has a great style to counter McGregor. but hes a more complete fighter with more weapons at his disposal and assuming he studies McGregors style, which he will, should be able to find a way.

The way to counter McGregor is to push/pressure into him and expect/avoid the counters, and counter that. It's not the easiest thing. Make him move backwards but don't blindly strike, just faint and avoid the counters.

That will create a continuity where hes commited to air, and you're not commited and you can do damage. Somoene like Lyoto Machida I feel would be great at exploiting McGregor.

I think Mendes would also be much better vs McGregor than Aldo.

I would say Mendes vs McGregor is 80/20 | Aldo vs McGregor is 66/33

I wouldn't bet against the Irish. Beastmode is in their DNA. McGregor will give Aldo a different look for sure. He just moves very different from the other typical fighter. His mentality is spot on for the task aswell. Being a seasoned veteran is one thing, being hungry is another. I see a lot of passion and hunger from Conor. Aldo is an established fighter and didn't get to where he is by shady split decisions or any other crap, he is a worthy champion. I'll be staying up late for the fight and rooting for the irishman and for the fight to go past 2 rounds.

I'm legitimately curious do you believe shit like that? Don't bet against the Irish?
