They are not christians, they ridicule christianity and all religions, pushing for a one world religion uniting all of them. Catholicism has always been a false front of christianity and the vatican is a power base along with others. I'm not pushing for some christian sect before people get their panties in a bunch, they probably believe themselves to be god and are more transhumanists/ satanists/ esotericists. If you look at christianity today you will see the falseness in all of them it is a deeply infiltrated religion they are just getting weirder and weirder.

It was John Stuart Mill who popularized the idea that if someone has grotesque views/ideas, the way to get to a society where those views no longer exist is by rational discussion with them, rather than silencing them through punishment.

I read about whats happening in Europe, and there has been a big resurgence in rightwing anti-islam protests. If you disagree with them, argue with them. And their beleifs will eventually go away if you win the argument.

However, today people misunderstand freedom of speech and loudness of speech. For example complaining that someone gets fired from the mediafor drawing racist caricatures of Muslims, this is merely reducing that persons loudness of speech down to the level of the other 99% of the population. Putting them in jail for it, on the other hand would be seriously wrong.

Also, the media will only hire people with certain viewpoints, elevating the loudness of speech for someone, but reducing it for others who would never make it into the media because their views are too rational, and they are not obedient enough to be a valued columnist. When the tiniest attack on someones privilege to talk that fits into the framework of the medias acceptable discussion, then the media will get indignant about how the values of freedom of speech are being attacked. But when others who have something extremely important to say are silenced their whole lives, the media doesn't give a dam.

All western countries have a high degree of freedom of speech, it's just that the loudness of speech is given only to those that have certain views.

As for France, the country has some of the worst freedom of speech record in any western country. If someone made racist caricatures about jews and the holocaust they would be in jail. For example Robert Fraussian (cant spell his name) was a holocaust denier and got put in jail. But for someone to incite islamaphobia is encouraged by the french media. It's total hypocrisy.

The thing is i'm obviously fully aware that what i'm saying you would consider to be retarded and ignorant; that is the point. But you can't say it is two sides of a coin because I couldn't care less if muslim extremists wanted to make racist barbs or say mean things, I care that they slaughter innocent people. I care that they revel in the deaths of terror victims and have a fundamentally misguided and destructive view of the world.
