there's a lot wrong with religion in general. Catholics used to do stupid shit 300+ years ago, today they are relatively tame. Islam is a younger religion, who seems to be going through the stupid shit phase, and currently on the world hotseat as a result. Although from what I've read (not much) it seems more oppressive then others, esp towards women, however thinking about it, catholics have oppressed women for a long time as well, esp pre 1900 |
