Where do US ppl play? Im in oregon so no vegas or AC sites for me.
Im looking to play some MTTS.

Also being available on Mac is a plus.

Pick Bovada, bigger player pool and faster cashouts.

acr has a debit card u can use at atm's, thats the best.

bovada is 2nd best but only a max of 4 cg tables at once.

both are good, i would reccomend bovada to anyone that doesn't play everyday

I use bovada for MTTs and sportbetting. Use blackchippoker for cashgames.

Would probably recommend just bovada. I only use BCP for rakeback deals.

Went with bovada due to the recommendations here.. their software is actually half decent.
I havent played in a long time so its actually really fun / boring at the same time.
And coming to the realization i am a huge nit.. i now have plenty of money and i dont like to gamble with any of it..so strange i played this game for so long.

Same realization with me here. I think it all has to do with believing and striving for success in what you do. Entrepreneurs can sometimes risk everything they have without severe stress because they are simply doing what they want to do. Poker is not fun for me, it was never fun, the only reason I did it was for money.

I cashed out $400 on Bovada a few months ago. Mad request on a Monday, approved Tuesday, received check on Thurs, cleared bank by next Monday. Had to use a major bank though, credit union would not take foreign check.

Why is there so little traffic on Carbon? You can multi-table and use hud software, but there's hardly any traffic beyond .05/.10? If Carbon sux, what's the reason?

After a little research about Carbon here's what I've found.

1. The rake is the highest 4.5% on every pot, lowers at $2/4 but there are no $2/4 games
2. No frequent player points (they used to have fpp, but dropped it )
3. No rakeback of any kind (They used to have rakeback but dropped it.).

Over time they are giving less and less back to the players,one gets the feeling they are in it for the short run. There are still rakeback sites including LP offering rackback at Carbon, but it just isn't true and hasn't been for years. Good things are:

1 You can use HUD
2. The software is good.

vpning is fine chris but u gotta have cashouts and all that shit setup through ppl and do trades and lose out on %'s of ur $. its not bad tho, if you VPN, don't pick a site that you will want to play on in the future, ie. 888 is going to be solid for a long time imo, so avoid 888, Party will be good again prolly, so why vpn there.

networks like iPoker run easy zoom games, if you are to VPN, choose sites like that if you are going to be playing poker for the long term.

im only cashing out at the same pace I had been ... but im playing a ton more now ... trying to earn as much as possible cuz i have a feeling if they get shut down they are going to pay out all the accounts.

they have a successful sportsbook ... if poker gets shut down i'm sure they don't want all the sportsbettors to cash out all their funds.

bovada is licensed by the phillipine gov't and pays them massive taxes...doubt phillipines would ever sell them out to the feds...unless the feds catch ayre but good luck with that

their servers must be here tho right? how else do they only offer poker inside the US? why is it they don't offer to anyone outside US/canada?

The Bovada player pool is still the international BODOG player pool. The software is just branded differently in the USA. Think of it as Bovada being a Bodog skin. Highly doubt bovada gets shut down they have been going strong for a long time despite the US Government's efforts.

LOL the stupid Indian Tribes while powerful in their respective states have nothing to do with Bovada and no ability to impede their services. Ultimate has motivation to spread those lies simply to get people to move their rolls from Bovada to US Legal sites.

I have heard one tribe in california is going to open a site based on some ambiguity in the existing law pretty soon. There is a thread in NVG on 2+2 about it i'm not super caught up on it but it is of interest to me because i live here. No legislation has passed in California to allow igaming/poker so i'm doubtful however.

Basically the tribe thinks they have the right to open the site because the have sovereignty over their own lands or something like that.

For the tribes to shut down Bovada they would have to go to the feds who have already been trying.
