I'm enjoying it playing solo, the difficulty change alone makes it so much funner than before

like smuft said, path of exile is superior in 99% of cases, just graphics. But everything else, difficulty, depth, longevity, constant changes, patches, updates, its just really well made.

Its because the guys making it, really care, and are really passionate.

and PoE is 100% free

I try to stay away from the "best" games these days. LoL instead of dota, d3 instead of poe, hearthstone over infinitywars or magic...

My only issue with PoE is I only play HC and all my friends die too often making me lonely at the top.

PoE > D3 for sure

need poe gameplay with D3 engine/graphic...poe engine is a steaming pile of shit compared to D3. Just doesn't feel good to play. Even the 10 year old d2 engine feels far superior than poe ;/

exactly why i installed, played for 5mins , exit, uninstall, fuck this shit.

I feel like there isnt a game for me to play anymore, I m done with LoL got too bored of it and i got stuck at Plat1 mmr anyway, D3 feels shitty and i wont pay another 60eu just to experience the same shit, ran through borderlands for a couple of days, wow is just meh unless u can play for 10hrs a day, and I probably need a better PC for CS:GO since i run it @ 40fps @ low graphics which is ridiculous consdering other games i've ran, but w/e... probably getting too old for this shit

You also need to go on options, and fix things, fix map, fix stuff around for the interface to be better. Then after you play it for awhile, you start to notice small tidbits, and things starts to make more and more sense, and it just keeps getting better and better.

Diablo3 was opposite, when it first launched, it was really fun and easy, and u had a blast, then when u crushed through everything, and gotten to inferno, u kinda "saw" the end game, and u were kinda done.

Kinda good if u think about it, think i spent 100 hours on it or a little more, so u get ur money's worth. BUT comparing it to Diablo 2, or any other amazing game. People thought it was going to crush, and just dominate, so ppl had sick high expectations lol!!

And I don't think it's true "blabla, ur getting old".


Games are in a weird place now, just look at the best games, and compare it to everything that gets released now, and how they are making them.


It's kind of like how most shows and movies were for awhile (a few awesome ones here and there, but in general).

People who made it followed recipe's, everything was the same. People like when the hero gets the girl, blabla, villain gets fucked up. Almost everything same storyline, just re-harshed bullshit.


Then a few amazing shows came, and changed things around, and a lot of cool shit has come lately. I think the same will happen in games eventually. The way they've done it in wow, for awhile, is milking the cow to the fullest, no real risk, no amazing new ideas, same old same old.

And all other mmo, copy of copy of copy of copy, it's literally shit in comparisontment. So they need to keep to push the boundaries much more than they are, not just remake with a twist everything that came before.


Take 100 a little older shows, then compare then to Game of Thrones, House of Cards, True Detectives, Breaking Bad!!

I have faith, but atm, and for awhile, we've been in a bit of a shithole, when it comes to games, only good game last, u dunno how many years, is Path of exile, and even that is a remake, but it made it since it just started where diablo 2, left off, and made it much deeper, more complex, and original.

So even that isn't that exciting, not for me at least, but it's the only game i put some time in lol. Still have a lot of faith, that in the future, games will be insane again!!

Have you even played the 'new' d3? Or did you just play 2 characters to level 60 when it came out and then tossed it aside? Otherwise your arguments are pretty poor. I haven't played PoE so I can't argue which is better or more enjoyable, but I'm getting a lot more enjoyment out of D3 than in the beginning so it might be worth it to play a little bit again if only to vary it up a little.

They've also added a ton of endgame content btw and you just die on highest levels of torment even with great gear.

Reaper of Souls fucking rocks. Doesn't even feel like DiaBLOW 3.

Played it a lot with friend son hardcore, I never finished it on Inferno tho, made it to Act 3 and it got boring, you never had to grind gear, you just grind gold and buy your shit in the auction house, and yeah I know its gone but I already played and finished.

So basically Ive played many more hours of D3 than of PoE and I consider PoE simply a better game, also I find it funny that you say my arguments are poor yet you havent played PoE.

FWIW Diablo 3's story is way better and the cinematics etc make it very enjoyable and PoE is certanly lacking on that department, but when it comes to asmosphere, leveling skillpoints, variables of build etc, PoE is simply better and its free.
