Thought Gosling is more insightful than it I thought and might have a point. But at the same time it comes off as very risky to say these kind of things especially publicly.
Thoughts?

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same | |

Didn't find much insight. Don't think what he said is risky at all.
Dude has $50mil and Eva Mendez at home and more or less complete freedom (minus paparazzi/etc.) if he steps away for a bit and doesn't sign any more contracts with the devil. Unless he gets a project he really digs I don't see why he would ever risk damaging his sanity/brand/etc. for money unless he's trying to get to richer than god level. |

what is he risking when he says this? Only his ability to make more money which he doesn't need, but he also risks becoming an interesting person. Famous actors make money from their 1 dimension that they have to fit inside. When they start moving out of that dimension, like for example start jumping up and down on couches on oprah, or finishing 7 gram rocks of cocaine then they become interesting and thus lose the ability to make money.
Also i loved the movie drive and blue valentine, was freckin awesome! |

drive was so boring and bad, are you guys trolling?
Blah, it got a 93% on rotten tomatoes maybe I should watch it again but I remember it being pretty bad the first runout. Run it twice I guess. |

i thought drive was really good but i also thought looper was extraordinarily bad.
It really is a hit or miss type deal with these two films |

Looper was awesome, and drive was even better. Drive is quite subtle.. so you have to pay attention. |

Kavinsky did the OST. One of the best movies of the decade hands down, Gosling has a huge potential can't wait to see him more often. |

i really loved drive, although i don't know why. it's a really superficial movie and simplistic movie, which is prob what makes it good. The style and OST was great too. |

Been trying to find good movies lately, so been searching through best of then add in year 2010, 2009 so forth on imdb, then i went to reddit movies, and went through their list, then movie thread on tl (but that one had so many shit movies, i mean, zzz movies so dun recommend the latter).
At the moment, downloading, 13 assassins, 50-50, stranger than fiction, kiss kiss bang bang, kung fu hustle, and thank you for smoking. Hopefully some of those are good.
Did watch the 3rd installment of Ipman, but turned it off half way, since it was pretty poo, bad fighting, so boring.
Hmm, I wonder if there are any really recent sick, cool fight movies out. Anyone knows? |
